Started my day with a little walk in the sunshine today, was pretty nice. Fresh air and all that. Since I've checked that off the list, I can now avoid leaving the house for the foreseeable future.

Scene 4 took some time, as is the norm when it comes to spicy scenes, but it's finished. I didn't really go with either of the two alternatives I mentioned last update, but rather something sort of in-between, I guess? Not high or low effort, but mediocre effor...

Welp, the first scene of the episode is finally finished. That's by far the longest it's ever taken me to make a single scene, let's hope that never happens again. I've got a fever! And the cure was not, in fact, cowbells.

Well, to be completely honest I didn't actually try cowbells, maybe I should have. Also I don't actually have a fever anymore, that passed, which is neat. After a week of feverish chills, fiery coughs, and enough snot produced to feed a family of five, I'm mostly alright again. We're finally underway with making renders, which feels great. It kind of feels like I haven't properly started working on an episode until I start rendering, even when the script is at least equally important. It's just hard to showcase that you're doing something when you're refining a script, versus having fancy pictures to show off.

4k Extras #21 Measuring success

Dropping a little 4k set here. I was inspired by a render made by someone way better than me, so this is kind of a recreation of that.

Oh, hello there. It's just me, remembering the day for once.

I think I'm through the toughest part of writing the script. Which is coming up with one in the first place, as well as writing the first version of every scene. Now it's just refinement, which is a fancy way of saying that I'm going to rewrite every scene. That usually doesn't take much time, it's always easier to fiddle with something that exists, compared to creating it in the first place.
