Arabella is a model/photographer in Britain. I met her through a mutual friend (Elle) who worked with her on several occasions. Arabella and I started working regularly together with her as the model. She had an idea for a remote shoot setting up the studio as an artists studio with her acting as the artist and the model. We scheduled it and this was the result. Arabella is a "curvy" model as you can see, but also quite beautiful. Her red hair really is quite beautiful and she has a rea...

Merrique and I shot our typical monthly shoot early in November. I say typical, but nothing about this lovely woman is typical. She and I are fast friends. This shoot was concentrated around nudes, nothing else. We tried a little Hollywood glamour lighting using Merrique's Snoot (I love saying that word) at the end of the shoot and I processed a couple along that style (the B&W images). No matter what we shoot, we always create some great stuff. We always do a behind the scenes body...

My friend Zoi Morgan hosted a remote shoot with this lovely woman and asked if I wanted to work with her. I agreed and spent an hour shooting with Leontine in Zoi's studio in the Netherlands. Leo is also from the Netherlands and very beautiful as you can see. We shot a few different setups in Zoi's studio and created some nice photos. I spent more time talking with Zoi than shooting with Leo catching up on what had been going on in Zoi's life. Leo is a tall blond and very photogenic. Sh...

Taylor messaged me and asked if I would be interested in booking her. I think she found my name on Model Mayhem or another social media site. She was visiting from the east coast and looking for a place to relocate to in the west. I think she finally settled on Arizona. She confided during the shoot that she had fallen in love with the area around Sedona. She was a photographer who had recently started modeling and was enjoying it so much that she wanted to continue it. We met up at Red...

My friend Dakota (pictured on the left) and I shot several years ago out at Redstone, and she was so impressed that she started doing an annual phototrip with 6 photographers and another model. She often asked me to join and guide the trip. In 2023 Dakota and Dane Halo were the models for the excursion and I joined up and accompanied them and shot with them both. They are both excellent models and beautiful women (as you can see). I hadn't worked with Dane for several years, but again she...

Starting into the 4th quarter of the year. Paige contacted me and asked if I would be interested in shooting with her. At the time, she was a local Las Vegas model but had done quite a bit of traveling and was relocating to Utah. I met her and her boyfriend (at the time) at Redstone and we shot for a couple of hours. Interestingly, Rachelle and her group were there at the same time, and I spent a few minutes observing their shoot while waiting on Paige. It was interesting to observe mostl...

Naya and I worked together quite a lot in 2023 and in 2024. She lives in Moscow and we met through social media. Her husband assists with the remote aspects of the shoot and as an interpreter, although Naya does speak quite a bit of English. I trip her up every once in a while with my American slang words. I always request she wear at least one red outfit (I think it looks very good on her, but everything looks good on or off this woman IMHO). The time difference is what prevents me fr...

As you all know by now, Merrique and I shoot once a month either in person or remotely (mostly remote these days since she's moved to the other side of the world). This shoot we intended to get some intimate portraits and bodyscapes with Merrique getting real small in her home space. The camera was set up maybe 4 feet from her so she was confined to a small work space. She had also bleached her hair blonde for her wedding and pretty much fried it (her words, not mine) so she couldn't dye i...

This was Riona's last photoshoot before her retirement from modeling. She and I had worked together a couple of times and she specifically requested that we shoot together one last time. I agreed and told her that if she ever decided to unretire, she knew where to find me. She hasn't unretired and gave birth to a healthy baby boy who now is a little over one year old. She was a great model and I'm sure is now a great mother. This was a remote shoot from my home in Nevada to Zoi Morgan's ...

Rachelle and I first met through a remote shoot. She lives in England. We shot a couple of times remotely and I found out she was leading a photo tour based out of Las Vegas. She and her husband do a trip about every other year in the southwest US. One of the places they go and spend a few days is Death Valley. As fate would have it a west coast hurricane (a rare occurrence) had blasted through Death Valley and the park was closed to visitors from the Nevada side. There was one entrance...

Jessa Ray and I have worked together for several years now and always are able to create some great photos together. She always asks if I've found some new places to shoot and is always up for an adventure. She runs a Muses of the West Photo Excursion where she hires a couple of models and 4 photographers pay to shoot for several days with the three models at various locations. Jessa's husband cooks for the tour and sometimes models with Jessa. I've not attended the tour but heard good th...

Caitlin (she goes by Sister Cait or Outsidemytime on IG) was attending a photo workshop in Las Vegas and called me to ask whether I would be interested in another shoot with her out at Redstone. We had first worked together out there when she and a friend were traveling through. Her friend had the flu (which Cait caught after they got home) and was extremely ill that day so Cait and I shot for most of the time. It was very windy and cold. This day was perfect shooting weather. I picked h...

Kristina and I have never met in person, but we've worked together several times. She's a model from Moscow, and we really enjoy working with one another. She doesn't speak much English, and I don't speak any Russian, but we manage to communicate through a translator (who doesn't speak that good of English either, but we manage). Kristina was a very popular model in Russia, who used to work quite a bit. You can see she has that slender model body. She kind of went away for a bit but now ...

Merrique and I do a lot of experimenting during our monthly remote shoots, most of it works. She had an attachment to her lens which blurred half of it, kind of like looking through a prism. Depending on the amount you twisted it, it would blur out more of the photo. We tried it during this remote shoot and it worked pretty well. I guess it just depends on your taste. If you're leaning toward the artistic side of shooting nudes, it works. If you just want to see naked women, you should ...

Helen and I met online and started remote shooting back in the Covid days. She was one of the first models I worked with remotely. I have to admit, she is difficult to work with, but we've tried a few things over the years and most of them don't work out. She has a penchant for standing nude against the wall or doing something in front of a very bright window. This shoot was no different. At first she posed in front of her living room window which totally blew out the photos. When I poi...

Jessa Ray and I have worked together several times in Utah and Nevada. She contacted me and asked if I would like to shoot in the Tetons while she and her family were taking a vacation. I agreed. We met up at Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park (if you've been there, you know what a zoo that parking lot is and it was already a minor miracle that we could find each other). She brought her partner and two little boys along and explained that they were going in search of bears, while she...

Samantha and I met thru social media. She and I have worked several times now and always manage to create some great photos. She is a local Wyoming woman (local from the standpoint she only lives 80 miles from me). Elle on the other hand lives "across the pond" in England. We also met thru social media. Neither woman works to nude anymore. Sam never did work to nude, and Elle modeled nude up until a photographer was rude to her. At that point she stopped modeling which is a shame. She ...

Happy New Year everyone and to start the year off right, I introduce Ciara (Model Adventurer is her modeling name). Ciara was traveling through Europe and stopped off at Zoi's studio. She and I had worked together before and I contacted Zoi to see if we could recreate a shoot that Zoi and I had done several years ago. Basically it entailed covering Ciara in clay paint and letting it dry. Ciara was up for it. We started the shoot with standard boudoir poses, because once we started the pa...

Just a little bonus post for my supporters this past year. I've selected one photo from each month for your enjoyment.
First up is Sara. We shot together in January remotely. She is coming to America next year and I hope to schedule an in-person shoot with her.
Next up is my friend Kristi. She and her partner spent the winter at a Utah ski resort and she asked me if I wanted to do a snow shoot. We met up, and It was just at freezing when we started shooting.
Bellatrix is...

My friend Brennan was in Salt Lake while I was shooting with the 4 previous models, so before leaving the city, we made a date to shoot out on Stansbury Island in the Great Salt Lake. There's a salt mining operation at the end of Stansbury Island just out of frame of some of the photos. The mine is located where the last two photos were taken with the reflections on the water. The lake where we were at is a pink color from the algae in the water. You can kind of see the pink tint of the w...

My last day of shooting with these 4 gorgeous models, Hannah, Jenn, Femina, and Auroraa, on this trip. I'm sure there will be more to come at a later date. In fact, Jenn and I have set up a shoot this year and Auroraa and I have already completed shoots this past year. We spent this last day fighting mosquitos and living in the water. It was a really hot day for northern Utah. It was quite the haul to get to the location, but it was worth it IMHO. The 3 booked models with an all day cam...

Our second day working with these lovely models. We started out at Antelope Island (for those of you familiar with the area around the Great Salt Lake) and finished the day in the sand dunes south of Salt Lake City. A thunderstorm had just rolled through the sand dunes and there was still a bit of lightening in the area. At one point everyone's hair was standing on end (a sure sign of a lightening strike about to hit you BTW) so we had to postpone shooting while the weather calmed down. W...

Next up is 3 days spent with 3 lovely models plus cameo appearances by Auroraa during the multi-day shoot. The 3 models booked for the shoot were: Hannah (her first time modeling), Femina, and Jenn. I'd worked several times with Jenn and Femina in southern Utah, but hadn't worked with Hannah, although we had crossed paths while I was on a shoot in southern Utah and she had shown up with her partner and had modeled nude on horseback for him while I was shooting with another model. Auroraa (formerly Dasha) and I go way back together. I was one of her first shoots after she had started modeling in 2016. She had taken ill and had gotten pregnant with twins right before this shoot, and this was one of her first shoots after having given birth to twin baby girls. They had come early, which is not all that unusual for twins I guess. Auroraa and I had spoken about doing a maternity shoot, but like I said, the twins had come early, so we settled for a post pregnancy shoot ...

Next up is a remote shoot with Amarutta, who hails from France. She messaged me, and asked if I would be interested in an outdoor remote shoot in a lavender field in France. She knew the farmer who had agreed to let her set up and shoot in his field. I agreed with a little hesitation. Amarutta and I had worked together once before and she has just a basic understanding of her camera and less of an understanding of remote shoots, but we managed to create some good photos. As you all know, Merrique and I shoot once a month. A lot of the time we're experimenting with various lighting and methods trying to create something that one of us has seen since we last shot. It's not really a concept, as it is an idea that we play with during the shoot. Going into this shoot we had decided to try and create something with a really old Hollywood lighting concept. Merrique had a light that mimicked a snoot, which we set up right next to the camera and then we set up som...

We set up a remote shoot from her home in Ohio.

I finished out June with a remote shoot with a model in Moscow (yes that Moscow) Diana. The only issue with working from the western US to Moscow is the time difference, 10 or 11 hours depending on where you're at. So to shoot with Diana at 10 am Moscow time, you start at midnight or 1 am your time. As you can see, Diana is worth staying up late for. The other challenge is that Diana doesn't speak english and I don't speak Russian. The assistant speaks pretty good english so he relays th...

We were supposed to go to 2 locations this last day of ExplOregon, but the mosquitos were so thick we decided to spend the entire morning at the lava flow instead of going to a barn located on the edge of a shallow lake (where we figured the mosquitos would be even fiercer). It was a good call. The mosquitos were bad even at this location and the models were happy to cover themselves in body stockings. The stockings were ruined once they got out on the lava, but the ladies had a good time d...

Day 3 of our adventure. Kat, Floofie, HSD and I set off for the Alford Desert hot springs. It seems like the hot springs have gotten more popular after Covid, but the folks camping there don't seem to mind being invaded by our little group. Can you blame them. We shot in and around the hot springs and then ventured out to the lakebed in the early evening. It was very windy at the lakebed and the models came dressed in their finest Mad Max costumes. All in all it was a very productive da...
