[Random note]Thanks again for all your help this year! See you next year!

How are you spending your year-end and New Year's holidays?

Some of you may be at Comiket from the morning.

As for me, I have been suffering from the same thing, and I have been taking medicines and lozenges at home. The pain in my throat is too much and I can't sleep because of the stuffy nose.... However, the peak has been exceeded to some extent, so I can finally get back to work. I don't care about the end of the year or the New Year's holidays when it comes to colds and work....

This is a marine produced by commission. I am producing two of them, can you tell what the difference is?

[Photo Album]Houshou Marine sculpted by Fujiyama sankaku(Takatori) Part1

This Marine kit was requested by Takatori in the fall of 2020.

This Marine was painted a total of 4 times, including the commission request... .4 face parts are included per kit and I painted all of them, so I did a total of 16 eye coats. Very tiring...

The quality of the later pieces is better than the first one, because I have a better understanding of the character.

This video is for confirmation of temporary assembly.

It is first in portrait orientation for checking on a smart phone, then in landscape orientation video. It is quite difficult to watch now that I think about it. Ummm....

Chieru (sculpted by Jose) wip part1

Originally scheduled to be sold at the Summer WF in 2022, Jose-san's "Chiel (Seigakusai ver.)" was postponed until TFO9 due to various reasons. Following on from the previous Shiroko, we were able to assist in the production of this model as well.

I was not able to check the color matching due to lack of time to work on it, but he carefully supervised the work by writing on the photo. I think it will be quite useful as a reference material, so I share it within the post. (Permission has...

Chieru (sculpted by Jose) wip part2

After dry fitting, the next step is painting.

This time, I had a bit of a tight schedule, so I proceeded with the coloring in a short period of time, and as a result, I had to ask Jose-san to confirm the coloring without being able to match it up.(Because the delivery date was so close)

However, I really appreciate the feedback I received, which was quite...

[December Schedule and Reflection] It was too hard a November...

Thank you for your continued support!

Following on from October, this month has been a little too hard for me to do the things I have been doing in the past, such as updating articles and watching Twitter...! I didn't think I would be this busy, so it was completely unexpected.

My schedule for December will probably look something like this.

・ Video and article production (probably 2 or 3)

・ painting for WF winte...

[October Review] Extreme November begins as October ends.

Happy Halloween!

So, I spent most of October in my workroom, not attending any events. This is a bit of a bad level, as it is rare for me to be away from the workroom.

And this trend will continue until next spring or later. I would like to move to a better workroom, but for various reasons that is not possible. It is sad.

By the way, I already wrote up the following tips in my last article, and I wish you all the best

Sukima's skin color painting method memorandum (paints needed to create pinkish skin)

If you have any requests for articles like this, please feel free to comment! If you have any requests, please feel free to comment! I will try to explain as much as I can.

In this article, I will explain the following

Shiroko swimsuit (sculpted by Jose) wip part1

It would be troublesome to apply and harden it all at once, so it is better to add a few coats little by little to save time and effort in making unnecessary shape repairs.I would like to summarize the production process of Jose-san's swimsuit Siroko, which I have been secretly producing as a sample.

Since this Shiroko was made only for a test shot, the seam lines and Halo may be slightly different from the actual cast to be sold. Please be aware of this point.

But, the number of ...

[Random note] Surface treatment methods and tips for 3D printer output product kits from a painter

The term "garage kit" generally refers to a cast kit made of polyurethane resin, but recently (especially in the past 1-2 years), it has become easier to obtain resin for 3D printers and optical modeling. And there are some sculptors who sell output kits instead of polyurethane resin cast kits on BOOTH.

However, there are some cases where the surface treatment and painting methods that can be done with resin casting cannot be done with output kits, or are not allowed to be done with out...

Review article of the past 15 works for 2018-2020

I started seriously garage kits around the summer of 2018 and somehow 4 years have passed. Fourth year of GK!

After 4 years of doing this, I've produced a good amount of work, so I'm going to do a look back at my past work (2018-2020), which was requested.

[October Schedule and Questions Answered] What happens after Extreme September?

The most exciting August ever! After the most exciting August ever, the extreme month of September is about to begin...!

But as I was working on it, before I knew it, it was already the end of September...! What a surprise!

And when Extreme September is over Extreme October will start. Oh, scary...

My plan back in May or so was to have a summer vacation around August-September for skill-building and learning, but there was no room for anything like that at all!

I...

Packing Method

I had the impression that this La+ should be placed vertically in a tall box because of the fixed installation of the chair and hair. This resulted in this type of packaging.

You use the left space of the box to enclose it with a urethane sponge...!

The right side is secured using urethane sponge with a cutout. I always stock this incised urethane because it is quite useful.

Seam removal

After most of the painting is done, the last step is to erase the seams between the chair and the hair.

The material to remove the seams can honestly be any craft UV resin, cyanon fill, or regular epoxy putty. The hair can be adjusted with color surfacer, and the chair can be painted nicely with surfacer black (or gloss black), regardless of the color of the base coat.

First up are two colors that come up too often in La+ painting.

They are pure violet and pure magenta. I use these two so much that it is no exaggeration to say that I paint almost everything with them.

Now, with these two main pieces, we will start by painting the chairs. First, mix magenta and ...
