It's been a while since I've been so happy with a portrait. This is Harry in the 13-18-year-old range. Even the phoenix form came out great. I did so many good ones that I don't know which one to pick, so here's all of them.

On a side note, the Broken Dreams chapter is going to be as late as usual. Caught some virus and head is woozy.
This is probably not the chapter you expected, but once I sat down and started writing, I realised I could not gloss over some things, no matter how tempted I felt. The previous chapter has been edited and expanded for continuity.

I believe apologies are moot at this point. For various irl reasons, I have slipped, and need to do something to regain my previous punctuality.
Anyway, enjoy the chapter. It's probably one of my greatest to date. Just writing it made me feel better.
I even managed to get a photo-realistic shot of this one. Fiddled around to try and get the seven-pointed star, but MJ can only do 6 or 8 pointed ones. And it keeps slapping crosses on the picture the moment I let my guard down.
E: lil' test.
This was the hardest picture I've generated to date. Midjourney struggles with Albino, forcing me to go to full anime style. Fiddled around with the birthmark on his face and couldn't get it to work (as I suspected). Probably impossible to do without proper Photoshop and drawing (and I'm not that good).

Rhaella's PoVs stumping me like always, and it's very hard to get into her 'head'. Writing her is so slow, and I have to write something semi-childish while tinged with a sense of looming dread, which is testing my limits as a writer(not necessarily a bad thing). Never been that good with a child's PoV, so there's that too. For the next KL chapter, I might switch to someone else's PoV instead. Young Aerys would be wild af to write.

Whew, that was one long chapter. Nothing quite big happened, but somehow, this was the chapter I struggled with the most for years. Anyway, I'm rather happy with it, but do let me know what you think.

I have been asked enough times to put this to poll. The first thing I want to say is that the chapters per four weeks will remain 6. Any higher rate and I suffer a burnout.

Was too tired last week, but I pushed to do some extra this week (and thus the delay). I hoped that I could complete all of the remaining chapters in one go, but I'm too tired, so they'll be left for next week.

A very... late chapter. But it's here. Probably not what most of you expected. On a side note, the prologue has been edited, smoothened out, and is now a good 700-800 words larger, and should read better. Writing Rhaella is hard to pin.

First, I must apologise for the delay. I'm mostly better, and the chapter took longer than I hoped (and writing a new PoV for the first time is always more challenging).
Second, as I said, the title in the poll (Ballad of Snow and Fire) was a pending/placeholder, so it has been changed. For those unaware, the story won by one vote. The poll stayed up for a whole week. For the unhappy with the results... I can only point you to the troll voters or the... 400+-ish ...

I really need to do something about my tardiness. Exhaustion and heat are a terrible combination, and so much for my plans for a double chapter. I think I'll take a week off on irl things and focus entirely on writing/planning. (On a side note, chapter 55 is a bit reworked and slightly expanded, so it should read cleaner than before.)
