Reference Set October

I wanted these to be about light and form, but ended up leaning into my mood at the time. Wondering what you get out of them. I have some I'll work on that seem a bit more interested in light.

I know someone was interested in more sitting and holding things (normal day activities). I'm sitll interested in creating that. So They'll hopefully appear in November or December, or both.

Since deciding to step away from modeling full time. I feel so relaxed. I don't want the pressure of answering messages, hustling, worrying about followers and social media, etc. I really love modeling, and having my own business was cool, but not during this time. It's been a lot of work, but no reward. So I want to cut back, and enjoy modeling for the modeling.  This isn't the time to be holding out for my modleing career because who know if I can g...

2020

I'll be posting two sets this month of reference photos and of photos from a recent photoshoot. Unfortunately, after this month, I will need some time away from modeling to figure out some new steps in my life. When I first started this year I had a lot of plans, but they got quickly derailed. I think so many people can relate to this! I wanted to give it my all this year to model and build modeling into the kind of business it could be. I learned a lot over the year about changes and develop...

So many sets

Photos by Triangle City

edited by me

I have a lot of photos and self portraits to post, but I've been bogged down by editing them. Partially, I have spent my time on other things, but mentally I haven't been in the right frame of mind to edit. I enjoy editing, but creating a mood and recreating a feeling with the photos can be a struggle if I'm not clear on my own feelings in the moment.

I've mentioned it once and will a thousand more times that this pandemi...

Theresa Manchester

Took a bunch of instax a few years ago with Thersa Manchester where I played around her house. Her place really inspried me to want to live in a pretty space. I've never had my own space, just rented and lived in other people's. There is something nice about being surrounded by a visual of yourself. I struggle with identity a lot in modeling because everyone thinks they know me from my photos that other people have taken of me in various settings. I like the annonymity, but not the mistaken i...

Modeling has been slow, obviously. I live in an area that in general is slow. It has given me time to savor my old work and think on my own projects. I'm hoping to get another job to keep me active. The days blur together and I can't remember one week from another. Nothing moves but yet it's been months. I can't heal or grow in this space. If anything I feel like I'm not growing into anything. I know there is a lot to do from isolation, but no inspiration. I've thought about my modeling, and ...

Changes coming to Patreon

Photo was taken by Noel Nichols edited by me

Next month you'll be seeing changes on my Patreon! I'll have a $1 tier for a photo from various sets, $5 to see the full set. $10 for art photo references.  $20 to join monthly figure modeling sessions through google hangouts, most likely. $50 for a private one hour figure modeling session. And of course, every tier gets everything below it!

Another wonderful adventure. One thing about the pandemic is I've gotten to meet more photographers in Atlanta.  I love that Dru came over to capture the jungle that is my front yard.

Great news! I found a spot in my house for figure art photos. I look forward to taking a set soon to post. When they can become more regular I plan to set up my patreon in real tiers, I think.  I really like having this donat...

Bright Spot in Summer

Sunflower fields by photographer Jessica May Theiss @mayflower.photos on instagram

COVID isolation has turned itself around for me. I can't travel to far off places, see lots of friends, tour, etc; but I'm growing my friendships at home, exploring home, hiking, getting to know my family, and experimenting with other sides of myself.  I feel happy. And I may have gotten a job at a vet's office today. I had been looking for lab jobs for a while, but many in Atlanta wanted ...

Cornfield Photos by Triangle City Griffin Lambert

I did these edits

I was inspired to finally do some of these edits after another shoot with Griffin. Yesterday he took me to a waterfall. He asked ahead of time if I was okay with intense hiking. Not a problem for me. I didn't realize what I'd agreed to. It was an adventure and fun and one of those moments I wished I could share. It's one of those adventures I wouldn't have thought I'd get into except since I started modeling. It's one of the reasons I love modeling and started to love ...

Changes

Really hoping to be able to add some new features to Patreon soon. I've wanted to set up figure drawing photos and eventually figure drawing sessions. Currently, I don't have the space for it, but I'll be working on it over the next few months. We're trying to move things around to give me an area to work in!

Other than that I know some people have talked about prints and merch. I've wanted to do this, but have also had to research the logistics of it. I'm happy to give away polaroids I...

Self portraits of a creep

With help by Noel Nichols. sadly all that grain from it being so dark. Didn't expect that. I think the room probably gets better light in the morning and I'll have to go back for that, or with a flash.

This isn't even the last of this house, but I have a lot of photo sets I hope to post soon... if I edit them...

I've been getting busy and lately I've been busy studying to get my scuba certification. With modeling, I don't know how much it'll help, but many photographers have...

I need to work more on my retouching, but there is not a lot of time! Retouching definitely takes a minute. Also it's tedious. But it does class up a photo....

I want to make sure I'm always moving forward with creating. I know I discussed adding more figure art and drawing references to Patreon. I haven't had a great space to get to yet. I'd prefer to have a backdrop so my background isn't too distracted. I can use the backyard but the lighting varies so ...

Yellow Kitchen

Self portraits with help from Noel Nichols.

I've been a bit absent mentally. I've had a lot to work on. I had a lot of life changes. I've been picoting away from modeling and applying to new jobs. This week I took a break to work and play in Florida for a bit. Not in the cities but out in nature in the springs. Slept in my car. Avoided crowds and met a friend in her yard so we could have a socially distant hang out. It was nice to feel some bit of normal. I love modeling for the people,...

Abandoned Locations

Self portraits shot with assistance by Noel Nichols

Fell in love with this abandon location. I think there is a lot more to shoot but the heat and mosquitos were really intense today.

Planning to host a live instagram video on Sunday (7/5). I also thought of doing it 7/4 but I'm sure people do not want to join a live on a federal holiday. I've been asking and thinking a lot about the differences between sw and nude modeling. I hope to discuss some of the ways sw and mod...

Self portrait series from Tahiti

I've been a bit mentally preoccupied. I'm applying to new jobs. I hope to always take self portraits and continue modeling. I don't know what life will be like after this pandemic, but the world is big and there is a lot to explore no matter what barriers are up.

Snapped these

Snapped these quick selfies with my phone while waiting on a shoot today. I want to go back with my camera. I keep telling myself I will and then reminding myself of what else I need to edit. Also waiting for the right inspo. Waiting for the idea to form in my head of what to shoot here

Decompressing after a long photoshoot

I don't usually hop into a bath after a shoot, especially at 1am. But it's been a long day and I want some time to relax while catching up in my diary and drinking more water. Got to stay hydrated but I wore a large, fluffy dress most of the day and couldn't pee while in it. Was not about to make the worse on myself. Body is so achy this last week and the bath feels soooo much better

A Day to Remember

Self portraits taken in Tahiti. I always wanted to make sure I focus on the art and making art. Modeling has never been about the money, until I decided I'd try and have a career in this.  Unfortunately that coincided with COVID 19. I'm trying to remind myself it's a freak accident, not the fates telling me to think again. I can't think of what I'd do if I didn't do this.

Even now it's about the art and creating. I'd rather it always be this way, and if that ever changed I w...

Lilies of Georgia

Photos by Snails Love Tea

I meant to post these sooner but I've been a bit distracted by everything going on.  For those of you in the USA, you may understand what I mean. We have a pandemic, unemployment, riots, protests, who knows what's next or what I've missed.  Growing up here has been kinda the same. It feels like it all escalated to this point.  I don't want to labor on it.  I have opinions, but it's better to look it up than hear it from me, and I ...

Hopefully you'd never know

Photos by Noel Nichols

Noel has been my helpful and trusty friend during quarantine.  We've been great friends since we bumped into each other at the Georgia aquarium.

She froze in this river with me.  Depsite the hot weather we were exploring beautiful Chattanooga on a chilly and rainy day. After my foots went numb it wasn't too bad, but the hike back in damp clothes was less than ideal. I love having a friend that can stay positive and stron...

I feel off this tree

Sometimes I'm not that graceful. Modeling and art isn't about being perfect all the time, just being able to do something perfect enough for enough time to be able to make an impact on others
