Full proof that this podcast has broken my brain, I went to the beer store on Christmas Eve (During the DAY, I'm not like Mr. Welch on It's A Wonderful Life) and while looking for something tasty, discovered this Trucking Through Time themed beer. Conor, I regret if you were offended when in episode four I corrected your pronunciation of "Magus". Mistakes were made, and I am informed that in some instances and circumstances pronunciations exist which seem to align more with your idiosyncratic way of voicing it than mine.

Stickers!

I mentioned the Fanfic that Janelle wrote in the newest ep, but neglected to mention this amazing STICKERS that she sent me. Truly incredible work. I believe she's working to get them available in her store, and as Discord emotes. Maybe once she figures out a production of them we will run a giveaway as well. Until then, gaze upon them in jealousy!!!!

Episode 60 - This Podcast is now named Thorn Drumheller

Step into the WillowVerse for our first discussion of George Lucas & Chris Claremont's "SHADOW MOON"! Things get sexy right off the bat, and never let up (if you consider descriptions of hair that is one color but has streaks of another color in it to be sexy. We do.)

We need fanfic!

We're recording tomorrow afternoon, send us your fanfic, dumb sentences, and any other thoughts you might have about the first 50 pages of Shadow Moon!

I don't have the stats to bear this out, but the first Fanfic round might be the hardest for the writers. It's hard to identify the author's style, as well as the tropes that might emerge. BUT it's also the blankest possible canvas to trick Mike into thinking something might have a chance of happening. So embrace the challenge!

First Shadow Moon reading assignment

Sorry it took so long to get this to everyone. We're gonna read the first fifty pages and see how that works for a chunk. No natural place to break it up, in our trade paperback version we're gonna read until the line "Oh joy, that we have so much in common."

We're off to a dumb start already!

It's quite a feat to so blatantly rip off LOTR before the first word of the book. Looking forward to Willow's encounter with The Smaugster (rapping dragon with attitude AND baditude) and his estranged relatives the Backville-Sagginses.
