These are the mini deck templates that I received today from the printing company.
I told them I want to print a mini deck and I also told them the size (44 mm x 63 mm). A regular poker card has the dimensions 63 mm x 88 mm. So of course I thought: mini deck = half the size. Beauties, this week I finally received the digital proofs of the DSPC deck. I had to update a card, but I approved everything for printing yesterday. A while ago I asked you which "ad-cards" you want to see in a deck. To my surprise, double backer and duplicate were way out in front. I have taken your opinion to heart and added a double backer and a duplicate - besides two other gaffs - to the deck. The duplicate King of Diamonds has a different card reveal.

Yesterday I received a Black Roses Edelrot Collector's Box sample. A good time to share a few details about the collector's boxes with you. The Black Roses V1s are coming back this summer, printed by MPC. In order to get them on my current favorite card stock - Linen Air Light - I'm forced to print 1000 decks. I would like to make them more limited like the Cartamundi and Hanson Chien reprint but I also don't want that the quality suffers from it. The MPC reprint will be marked as well.

A spontaneous idea that Madison and I had today. We are going to produce 200 gold gilded Black Remedies decks. Both colors work perfectly in contrast to each other. So we have no doubt that you like the idea as much as we do.
Since the gilding process takes at least two months more, it's possible that we are going to do a pre-order for the gilded decks this summer. Due to the limited quantity, you will of course have the chance to get them first.

After a long back and forth the printed proofs finally arrived.
Normally printed proofs aren't really necessary at all. I just wanted to be on the safe side.
Most of the time I'm working with Corel Draw. USPCC even advises against using the program. But I already use all the functions in this program intuitively. So it wouldn't make sense for me to switch completely to Adobe Illutrator.

The deck that you see on top are actually just two cards. This gaff will be one of four extra cards in the white DSPC deck.

Almost every European court card has a skin color. But you rarely see that on American court cards. I know it also looks unusual but I think it's just because we aren't used to see it that often. I'm torn about which court cards to choose for the next Black Roses playing cards. To make my decision hopefully a little easier, I would like to know what you think.

USPCC finished the MxS Casinos and they will send them out now. If not everything goes completely wrong we should receive them next week at the latest.

Having the option to change faces on court cards is something that intrigues me. But it's not just the fact that you can draw faces of friends, acquaintances or celebrities on the cards.
