This month I'm focusing on finishing some ideas from the 1st half of this year. But before I get into that, I wanted to spend 1 week working with one of Logic's newer features - Live Loops. It's basically Logic's take on Ableton's Session View. During stream, chat picked a genre and we got going.

This week the Twitch subs and Patrons chose DnB to write on stream. I started with the percussion. I built out a foundation for the drums and added some texture with foley samples, loops, & subtle fills. Once the percussion was done, I moved on to chords, bass, and then melody. I threw in a small arrangement towards the end of the stream (intro & build) and that's what what we ended up with here. Hey Everyone! This week was another Melodic Dubstep idea and this time around I decided to start with a chord/melody idea that I wrote on Monday's Chill Piano Stream. I've been thinking about doing something like this for awhile and with the interest in this song over the last year, it felt like the right time and the right song.
