So we're taking a tiny break from Marvel for the next 3 weeks to watch Star Wars. I've already seen the original Star Wars trilogy (though it was quite a while ago), so I already love so much about this universe... but I've never seen these ones, so I'm super excited!!

Now that Game of Thrones is over, we are going to be watching a new series. So this coming week we'll be starting The Last of Us: Season 2. The full-length episodes will be released here on Patreon on Fridays - so you can watch the first episode along with us on the 18th! We thought it would be really fun to watch a new series with you, right as it's coming out!

I have been so excited to see this movie. I love all the characters we've met, so finally getting to see them work together was so satisfying! It's just getting me even more excited for the next phase of Marvel movies. EEeeee I'm loving this journey through the Marvel universe so much!

That's right, it's time for one of the most incredible Sci-fi movies I've ever seen. I can't even begin to tell you how much we both loved this movie. Whoo! This movie was so good! I had no idea I would fall in love with Captain America. I always figured he'd be a kind of boring hero, but nope! I couldn't have been more wrong. I'm such a sucker for a heart of gold character, and he's exactly that. I can't wait to see more of him in the upcoming avenger movies and other Cap movies!!

I sure hope you're ready for this... because I certainly was not. This movie blew my mind. It's officially one of my all time favorites. I mention in the intro that I really love the graphic novel "Dawnrunner", so I think that kind of set me up to love this too. And now that I've seen this movie I need MORE! The last episode... I honestly can't believe it. We've absolutely loved watching Game of Thrones with you, and boy what a journey it's been. My expression in the thumbnail says it all. I love Norse Mythology a lot, so this movie was right up my alley. I can't pronounce a lot of the names of things (Yggdrasil being a great example), so I don't call out as much as I want to, but if you see my eyebrows spike up, know that I'm thinking it... I'm just way too embarrassed to try and mispronounce it terribly haha. If there's any fun mythology references I missed, please do let me know!

That's right, we picked The Rock... it's been recommended so many times now, AND it has Sean Connery who we've grown to absolutely love, so it only made sense. This movie was an absolute BLAST to watch. I'm thinking I need to see more with Nicholas Cage too, he was awesome. Overall, 4 thumbs up. We both loved this movie!
