Sprint 007 reflection

What did we accomplish in the last two weeks?

  • Added working dice rolls to the prototype
  • Added subtitles to some of Max's Swedish dialogue

Hey guys!  I just put out a new alpha of the sex scene to Operators+.

It's nearly fucking 4am so I'll put out a good progress update tomorrow, along with a sprint reflection etc.

In brief: I didn't get everything done that I wanted to, but I feel like the scene is now structurally correct.  I intend to implement it into the game in the next sprint (unless Operator feedback is terrible).

Sprint 007 dev test

Hey Operator+!  Thank you so much for supporting Female Agent.  Here's another dev test of the sex scene.

In the last version, the balcony scene ended right before the sex.  Now Max can fuck Carla over the railing, with a number of possible outcomes:

  • Carla comes, then Max comes.
  • Carla fakes it, then Max comes.
  • Max comes prematurely, then tries to finish Carla with a hand job.
  • Carla comes, but can't get Max off, so he applies...

Dark Mode beta test

I like to play Female Agent on a white background, but many players have requested an option to play in Dark Mode.

Making it happen was kind of complex (because of how the avatar layers work), so it sat on my to-do list for a long time, but Lara, Hyneman and Tommygun worked together to make it happen without me.

Sprint 5 experiment

I used the final afternoon of Sprint 005 to work on something just for fun :-)

I'm planning to add a Muay Thai Camp to Bangkok.  In this location, your agent will be able to learn Thai boxing, spar with other girls, meet NPCs, and get hired as a ring girl for professional Muay Thai fights.

    • Scene starts earlier, to give the sex more context and setup.

This post feels weird to write.

My original vision for Sprint 005 was to release a v2 demo of the new Sex Engine scene.  I failed; only a section of it is complete.

Historically, what I'd do at this point is extend Sprint 005 until the objective is achieved.  And then operate in a crisis mentality, postponing all non-005 tasks until it got done.
