The House Wins: Chapter Two

Where chapter one focused on Mallory's first day (and the following morning) in Stepford, this chapter is instead focusing on Mallory and what she was up to at the end of Bet On Black. The mini sequel I wrote, Bet On Red, skipped past Mya's brainwashing, and instead took place sometime after Mallory had her first child. 

This chapter is going to show what immediately followed the ending of Bet On Black.

Milk Wars: Community League Of Rhode Island

Game Night Part 4 (Finale)

I'm going to be completely honest, this finale is about 3 times as long as some of the previous chapters. Game Night: Chapter 3

I hope you've all been enjoying this story so far, because odds are it's going to last a bit longer. All in all, I'm expecting it to clock in at 5 chapters, assuming chapter 4 goes the same as the past few have. 

Aside from that, I don't really have any particular commentary on this chapter. I've just been playing a lot of Multiversus, and hoping that they add Milk Wars skins for Wonder Woman, Superman, and Batman (especially Wonder Wife). Hope you're all well!

For this story, I wanted to dig into some more mindfucky elements of the process. The idea of being changed, having parts of your mind or your body altered and being totally aware of it, but not necessarily being able to remember what it is that was lost. It's something I touched on very lightly in my first Stepford Game story, but I think that I've done it with more care and focus here.

So, a fun little unexpected thing about writing is that sometimes you set out to write a one shot story, and then you realize that for pacing reasons, you'll have to extend it to two parts...

I don't have a whole lot to say about the content of this story in and of itself (aside from that I wanted to shine a light on a widower in Stepford, and an interesting friendship between a man and a dominant woman), but while writing it I did think about a criticism I've gotten of late over on Deviantart. Namely, that my stories are too dark and shouldn't end with the main characters being stepfordized as often.
