Armed with some newer stuff I know how to do with scripts, I did a 'quality of life' change to the Lock Skill Gain Progress mod, so that instead of having a bunch of blank strings when you don't own some expansions that add skills, the Lock/Unlock will only show the stuff pertaining to expansions you do have. So no more blank strings, lot less cluttered and hard-to-navigate menu.

A couple of months ago, I made a mod that allows a toddler to walk/run around (like the Wander / Run Around interaction) with an older sim following them, so you can have your toddler get some exercise and build movement skill with somebody watching over them. Hey, I fixed a mistake in the code for the phone mod that messed up the little popup thing for some careers an hour before work, even if your phone wasn't silenced, resulting in ceaseless ringing for about one sim hour. I managed to do what I thought was impossible and accidentally invent a way to make the phone more annoying! :)

If you're like me and find it annoying when you're getting spammed with phone notifications and there's no way to stop them, this now provides a way to stop it: by silencing your phone. Normally, the phone silencing will prevent the ringing sound, but you can still get notifications that disrupt gameplay anyway. This blocks them completely while the phone is silenced (if it's unsilenced, the experience should be exactly the same as before).

I redid the Sleep animation to try to make it look smoother and more realistic. There's also a bit of an idle now, so they don't look like a statue while sleeping. Feel free to let me know what you think of it!
When you've been tweaking and staring at an animation for long enough, it can become difficult to look at it with any kind of objectivity to judge how it looks.

Before we get into the update, let's talk some technical mumbo jumbo briefly. Scumbumbo released a library called XML Injector. The idea is that modders can do certain basic things that would normally require scripts and instead of needing their own scripts for every mod, each mod just needs to have the XML Injector installed for it to work.

There was an issue I noticed in some edge cases where if a sim was interrupted while traveling through a portal, they might stay invisible until they were reloaded or went through again.
I've tweaked the code, so that they should fade in / fade out, but will always re-appear, even if interrupted.

Not long after releasing Literally a Door Portal, I realized I could add locks like what doors have pretty easily and it'd be nice for there to be some variety in what type of door you're using.
I added a Portal version of every base game door and they all have locks like the ones that doors have, so you can restrict who is able to travel through them.

Whew. So Mischief Arts, what is it?
As a Sorcerer, you can now pursue the new Mischief Arts Skill. This is paired best with the Ritual of Neutrality I added in V2-4-11, though you can use it with the other rituals (it just won't interact in any way with Alignment or Magical Connection).
The Mischief Arts are about trickery and fun, sometimes at the expense of others.

The somewhat-asked-for option to play without your needs being replaced is now available. To go this route, pick the new ritual available Ritual of Neutrality. This option will add Magical Connection and Alignment, but they'll be pushed down out of view and locked in place (Magical Connection locked at full and Alignment locked at a neutral, middle level, something like 0).
