Hello Tier II and Tier III,
In this video I cover one scenario why I don't recommend the shotgun as a primary home defense weapon. I do my best to cover the pluses and minuses.
At the end of the day, knowing your weapon and its limitations is extremely important. You need to be trained on it and absolutely need to know your zero.
However, I will say I had a pretty good time shooting the side by side.

In this update I cover the basics of shooting and moving.
Don't go full Elmer Fudd mode. You want to keep the rifle on the same plane and move fluidly. Remember you want the rifle to be moving in a straight line towards the target and minimize how much it is moving up and down on each step.

Here is the Trigger Press and Follow Through portion of the Carbine Fundamentals Series.
Follow through is one of the most important things to remember in fundamentals. It's often overlooked and it will make you more accurate.
Don't jerk the trigger. You want to ride the reset and have the ability to have clean follow up shots.
