There's mostly one word I can use to describe my feelings after this episode.

Disappointment.

I am disappointed by the ending (THAT happened...) and also the conflict between the humans and the homoreptilians. I had hoped for a different outcome to what actually happened. Because of the way events unfolded, I am not surprised at the outcome, it's just.... I had hoped for something happier. I spent some time in the intro of this episode talking about something that fascinated me!

THE BOW TIES.

Maybe I was very slow to pick up on this, and I am slightly embarrassed and ashamed it took me so long 🤣 But I was put onto the notion by the colour of the bow ties in Amy's choice. I only remembered ever seeing a red tie, so when I saw a blue tie, I thought "THAT'S the dream, as the tie is wrong!"

I didn't think too much of it, until I went to edit the Vampire episode...

Oooh what a great episode! I was a bit confused in the beginning, but decided to just go with it. Surely all would be explained.... And it was! Not what I was expecting though, which took my by surprise. I really love that twist, and there's kind of a side to it too for the Doctor, if I'm not being silly and reading too much into it.

I feel SO satisfied by the ending. It gave me such wonderful, feel good feelings 🥰

Thank goodness I've been watching Buffy and Angel as I know so much about Vampires 🤣 I don't know if these types of vampires are what Buffy would like to deal with though. They seem a bit unusual.

GREAT episode, especially getting to know Rory. That's been such a treat. I really like him. He's sincere, genuine, and definitely committed to Amy. Let's watch as I decide he's my new favourite companion and then he ends up dying in some horrible fashion.

Hello 🥹 I'm hoping someone here knows what I'm looking for! There's a scene where Giles is in the library, tapping vigorously on the desk. He's annoyed at one of the Scoobies, I think. He's wanting them to look something up in a book or to pay attention.

REALLY good episode, though I do find it hard to sort of not compare to the previous episode that featured these things. I try really hard not to compare as both episodes are quite different, but are equally enjoyable in their own right.
