Doctor Who 7x2 Dinosaurs on a Spaceship

I cannot tell you how much I loved the humour in this episode! Well, I'm sure you'll find out soon enough as I laughed most of the way through it! It was SO FUNNY. The humour in Doctor Who has always been evident, however I'm noticing the 11th Doctor seems to be a natural comedian. I'm unsure if he means half the jokes he says, but I'm always so tickled, perfectly, and it just speaks to my quirky side! Love it!

We have started off series 7 with a BANG! A very solid start, I must say. The Daleks were very cool in this one (back to the older design, I see) and actually scarier than I've seen them for a while.

I am so sorry, but there won't be a full version of this episode available. I began watching this episode and noticed in the re-cap, the ratio seemed to be off. I am SO excited to share this with you all! I have decided to react to Scream (I don't like horror movies, so why I chose this I have NO IDEA) and I absolutely loved it! It kept me guessing all the way to the end! It wasn't too scary for me, so this is a good level for me, I think! I really found it so interesting and I hope you all enjoy!

Buffy 7x8 Sleeper

So..... I have NO IDEA what is going on. I think I figured it out (very late, mind you, almost at the end of the episode) but I admit to spending pretty much the entirety of this episode confused, in denial, and feeling dumb.

That is, until the ending, where you will hear me let out possibly the biggest scream in my reaction history 😱😱 So a little warning for you!!

Angel 4x5 Supersymmetry

So, I think some things are in motion. Some wheels are in motion. These wheels I don't think I like very much. Can we be wheel-less? Connor and Cordy, although I'm grateful she was safe and wasn't alone, I'm just not really a fan of where this seems to be headed.

But it's very much a Fred and Gunn episode, and I admit I don't think I agree with what Gunn did here. Again, I'm grateful that Fred has someone on her side but she's a very capable woman and can do a LOT more than I think ever...

Buffy 7x7 Conversations with Dead People

First, I kind of want to apologise for my scared and wimpy behaviour in this one 😭 this is without a doubt one of the most frightening episodes I've seen on Buffy. It was brilliant, and I loved it, and it's left me with SO many questions, but there were many moments I had to view through squinted eyes! I didn't enjoy editing those moments, let me tell you 🤣 but I did see a lot more the second time around haha

Doctor Who 6x13 The Wedding of River Song

I really hate series finales! I never know what to expect, if we will lose a beloved Doctor... That's my biggest fear going into the final episodes. I am constantly on edge, always worried. It can be pretty hard to relax!

What a well done episode. I love how everything fell into place, finally made sense. Things I'd been wondering for SO long were answered. I really, really loved it.

Angel 4x4 Slouching Towards Bethlehem

Well, this went very differently to what I expected 😅 there are some funny moments in this episode, real laugh out loud parts, which I loved! Some hideous bits as well, which I just could not look at. Ew.

So, I'm very curious to see where this episode takes us. I'm just glad Cordelia has someone to help her through this time, though it's not at all who I thought it would be. At least she's not alone.

Wait... Hear me out! This is, obviously, my first time watching. I admit, I felt the premise of this episode a little bit silly. It also was a little slow to get going, with the establishing of this particular story.

Doctor Who 6x12 Closing Time

I love this episode SO much!! You probably know by now that I adore those quirky moments that make me laugh, and this episode had buckets of them. Beautiful! Wonderful! It was so darn delightful and editing this was a real treat as I got to rewatch it all over again (for hours... but let's not let that ruin the moment 🤣🤪)

Such a delight. Loved it. The ending though..... Well.

Angel 4x3 The House Always Wins

AHHHHH 🙌 I'm so happy! Seeing Lorne made my day. He's gotta be one of my all time fave Buffyverse characters. Why is it always demons, for me? I'm like a female version of Xander. Lorne, Clem, Merl.... I can't seem to help myself 🤣

So many great moments in the episode. Fred was stunning in her costume. Lorne was incredible. What a talented man. Angel was hilarious, all his memories of the people he used to hang with! Really great episode with an epic ending, too.

Buffy 7x5 Selfless

OOH yay, an Anya episode! I really, really liked this one. SO many surprises and it was such a treat to see Anya throughout some different times in her long life. I'd never have guessed she'd become such a prominent character but I'm glad she has. I really do like her. I sort of forget how I felt about her in the earlier episodes, but I think I was mostly indifferent back in the old days! She's definitely come such a long way.

Upcoming Plans and Movie Recommendations!

Hello 💜😊 I hope you all are doing okay and have some nice things planned for the upcoming weekend! Take some time to do something for yourself that is healing for the mind, body and soul. I got a new kite (a kids one!) so maybe it will be windy enough to test this one out 🤪

I wanted to let you know about my tentative plans going forward, once we finish Buffy. I will of course be reacting to Angel Season 5 and then our Buffyverse journey is (mostly) over. I still have some plans...

Doctor Who 6x11 The God Complex

I really enjoyed this episode! It went differently to what I thought it would, which I really appreciated. I found the story and writing to be very clever, if that's the right word to use. It definitely seems like a thinking persons episode, and it really gave ME a lot to think about once I finished!

I mentioned in the last episode how I felt it would be dangerous to travel with the Doctor, even though it would be incredible. I do love how those worries of mine again rose to the surface...

I hope you all have had a very good beginning to 2025! I had a wonderful time off, enjoying a break from the computer. I don't think I'm alone in saying that I really love seeing Buffy thriving in a "normal" job. She is absolutely wonderful in this position, and it convinced me enough that for a moment I can forget she is The Slayer and imagine her as a normal girl, in a normal life.

Doctor Who 6x10 The Girl Who Waited CLEAN

What a wonderful episode... Loved the setting and premise and EMOTION in this one, even if the initial setup annoyed me because it all could have easily been avoided. But then, we wouldn't have an episode, would we 😜

I love that this story made me realise just how perilous things can be when you're travelling with the Doctor. Like I said at the end, this would probably be it for me. It's been great, thank you, but I'm done. Come back and visit soon, please!
