I think I'm trying to suggest something about the duality of man.

I went to see my college friends on saturday. I live an hour and a half away from them so I don’t see them as often lately, I have to plan it out, but this saturday I was free and we went to the house of two of them.

6 Morning Lil

And thus we've gone all the way around to the beginning.

In the past when drawing a younger Lil I've tended to make her eyelashes curl upwards instead of downwards to make her feel distinct. And since then I've had this picture on my mind of Lil in the morning brushing her eyelashes down and making them look like they usually do. Just as with the last one with Zara I wasn't really sure what to do for this one. One of the silliest ideas I came up with, and was really close to doodling was Diana Painting her spots as if it were make-up. Of course I didn't end up going with that, it would generate too many questions but, it was still a funny idea, maybe for a more cartoon and surreal version of this series.
