Hey everyone! Since we’re covering so many movies on the next couple of episodes, I won’t be reading out individual comments on the show. However, I’d love to highlight more Kurt Russell performances that are worth checking out. Let us know what your favorite film role is of him and why!

Happy New Year everyone!
We have finalized the three movies we will be discussing for the Patreon after-show on Kurt Russell. Those movies will be: Tango & Cash (1989), 3000 Miles to Graceland (2001), and Bone Tomahawk (2015). Thanks for all of your suggestions. For the main, we will still discuss: The Best of Times (1986), Breakdown (1997), and Escape from L.A. (1996).
For movie catch-up, we have a lot to go through, including: The Apprentice, Anora, Wicked, The Substance, Juror #2, and Nosferatu. Some of those are movies that we both watched, others only one of us did. (I'll let you guess which one of us did NOT see Wicked).
I will also be finally be discussing The Penguin series as well as the recent Indiana Jones and the Great Circle video game. I know we don't talk about games on catch-up but I have to share my thoughts on this one. I might also get to some of the recent holiday streaming duds that I watched this year like Dear Santa and Nutcrackers. Oof.
Planning to record all of the episodes in a couple of days. Thanks for your patience as we ironed out the details! Stay tuned.

Based on your suggestions, we have decided the main episode will be on The Best of Times (1986), Breakdown (1997), and Escape from LA. (1996). So feel free to leave your comments on those movies below for us to read out on the show. We're still trying the movies for the Patreon show so keep your recs coming.
We hope you all have a great holiday! Stay tuned for our Kurt episode, which we plan to record early next week.

Hey everyone! Here's our Patreon follow-up to Bulworth where we discuss yet another political satire, this one released just a year prior - Barry Levinson's Wag the Dog. We definitely recommend giving this movie a watch prior to listening, especially if you've never seen it!
Edit: Sorry for having to post and re-upload this several times. Patreon decided they would change how to upload audio attachments and it took me a couple tries to figure it out.

Hey everyone, here's our latest episode just in time for Halloween! On it, we revisit John Landis' Innocent Blood - a vampire dark comedy that hardly anyone seems to talk about. We also discuss Landis' early career including: Kentucky Fried Movie, Animal House, The Blues Brothers, and An American Werewolf in London. Naturally, we also had to discuss Twilight Zone: The Movie and a few others.
We'll have our Patreon follow-up coming next week and a movie catch-up where we talk about some recent bombs. Enjoy!

Hey everyone, hope you had a great rest of your summer! We're still trying to arrange a time to sit down and record our episode on King of New York. Scheduling was a little tricky this month but we're hopeful that we'll find some time before the end of the month. Feel free to leave some of your thoughts on that movie in the comments below for us to read on the show.
We also will have a loaded movie catch-up that includes some recent big releases like Deadpool & Wolverine, The Bikeriders, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.
After that, being that we'll be in October, it's my annual opportunity to get Ryan to watch a horror movie and I have decided we'll be covering John Landis' Innocent Blood! For the Patreon show following that ep, we'll talk about Landis' first three major releases (Animal House, The Blues Brothers, and American Werewolf in London).
At some point we'll also be discussing the second batch of 15 Adam Sandler movies. I still have a handful left to watch, but I will just say that two of the ones I watched have already landed on the bottom two spots of my list and the rest haven't been too far up... It's been a rough.
Stay tuned for that and more! Thanks for patience and support.

Hey everyone, here's a special unplanned episode that we decided to put together. For some insane reason, I ended up watching a whopping 16 Adam Sandler movies this past month (all Happy Madison flicks). Ryan joins me for a special discussion as I rank them from worst to best. Ryan also watched Uncut Gems for the first time and we talk about that as well.
I will be continuing my pilgrimage and finish the remaining Sandler films next month so stay tuned for that. Let us know if you'd like to see more ranking episodes like this and be sure to tell us your favorite Sandler movies in the comments!

Oof. This was a tough one. Keeping in theme with our episode on Ishtar, we decided to check out another big flop that ended the career of a great director - Martin Brest. We talk about his career and films leading up to Gigli before we descend into madness.

Hey everyone! Here's our newest episode where we discuss one of the most notorious movie failures of all time - Ishtar! This was mainly an excuse for us to revisit the filmmaking career of director Elaine May and the films she made leading up to this one (A New Leaf, The Heartbreak Kid, Mikey & Nicky). Stay tuned for our Patreon follow-up on Gigli!

Hey everyone! We’ll be recording our episode on Ishtar very soon. Make sure to leave some comments with your thoughts on the movie for us to read out on the show. In addition to Ishtar, we’ll be covering the three other films directed by Elaine May as well as some of the films she wrote.
For the Patreon show, we decided to go with Gigli. Figured it would be fitting as, much like Ishtar, its failure resulted in the end of a great director’s career.
For Movie Catch-up, we’ll be discussing some old and new stuff, including Beverly Hills Cop 4 as it also relates to Martin Brest.

Hey everyone, here's episode 38! On this ep, we discuss the 1999 film Payback as well as the Director's Cut that followed in 2006. The movie, an adaptation of Richard Stark's The Hunter, gave us an excuse to talk about the other movies featuring the Parker character as well - Point Blank, The Split, The Outfit, Parker.
Stay tuned for our Patreon episode on the Mad Max films!

Hey everyone, we’re still in the process of watching some of the movies that we’ll be discussing on the next episode(s) but we should be recording fairly soon!
As mentioned before, for our main episode we’ll be talking about Payback starring Mel Gibson as well as Point Blank, an earlier adaptation of the same story. I also read the novel that both of those movies are based on called The Hunter by Richard Stark.
For the Patreon episode, we decided it would be fun to talk about the three original Mad Max movies (Mad Max, The Road Warrior, Beyond Thunderdome).
We also both saw Furiosa so we’ll be discussing that on Movie Catch-up! We’ll probably end up talking about Fury Road a bit too because of how closely the two of them connect to one another.
Leave a comment with any thoughts you have on any of the movies mentioned above and we’ll try to address a few of them on the show!
Thanks again for your support!
