Oh, I really, really enjoyed this episode. It felt both familiar, but also sort of new. I'm really excited for this season.
I was worried that the show would feel very different without Dillion as a backdrop, but we're still feeling that same old feeling. Whether in Dillion or East Dillion.
Love, love love Eric trying to figure out how to put together a new team. So far, it's pretty disastrous. But I love that we get to watch it come together. It's gonna be so much work, but I'm g...

You knew that title was gonna be as gross as we thought the second I read it, right? Blech.
I really enjoyed this episode. I think Carl's stuff was the best. It's really the first time we've seen him be be vulnerable in any way. The scenes between him and Fiona were so strong this episode. Big fan.
Why do all these Gallagher's put up with women showing up to the house and taking over? They sort of let Sammi do it, and now they are letting Queenie do it. Why they listen to her and ...

I'm guessing we can't just compel people to do anything, right? Like, it would be so easy to just say, 'You want to invite me into your home,' or 'You you love when I feed on you,' or 'You will always find me more pleasurable than my brother,' or whatever. (That last one was for Damon, by the way). But it's early days of this show and there is still so much more to learn.
And of course, Vicki was someone whose name I remembered, so we had to kill her off. And speaking of killing her off...

It took me way too long to orient myself to this episode. I don't know what was going on with me during it.
Why exactly aren't Chim and Maddie living together? I get it's for the safety of the baby, but how is this safer? It's not as though he's working and she's not. She's still going to work. How are Chim's germs worse than the one's she'll get work? I'm confused.
Athena is finally back to work. And she does not seem like she wants to be there. I wonder if she'll end up retirin...

Oh, I feel terribly for poor Roy right now. Can you imagine killing someone and not even knowing you did it? And then having to figure out how to deal with that for the rest of your life? I mean, sure, it's good that he didn't kill Sara, but the cop's life is no less important. And Roy knows that.
Also, how can they all be upset at Roy for this? Something happened to him that wasn't his fault. It's not like he asked to get injected with Mirakuru. I don't think they should be allowed to ...

I'm sorry. Did we just trade Ian for Roger? ROGER? Roger the asshole? (Who I am so pissed at right now). No. I demand a redo. The Mohawk can have Roger. This is bullshit.
And holy fuck am I mad at Roger. Okay, so your mother in law tells you that your wife was attacked and raped, and you need time to figure out if you still want to be her? What the fuck, Roger? And what the fuck Brianna for thinking this is sweet and romantic when he finally shows up after deciding he can deal with the...

Why do I have such a block against caring about Peyton's family? I know I should feel bad (and it's not that I don't), but I'd just so much rather be watching whatever else is going on.
I love so much, the fact that Brooke is still in therapy. I mean, they all need it, but at least someone is getting help. And speaking of Brooke, she's totally gonna end up fostering that shoplifting girl, isn't she? And she's gonna start a new business with Milly?!? Did I understand that correctly? I wo...

Okay, so while I'm not 100% sure yet, it certainly seems like we somehow made it out of this episode without any bloodshed. Although, I have no idea how. Between, Roan's army and Sky People with guns, and the giant explosion at the ship, there should have been so much more death.
Illian carries Octavia into the Arkadia in order to get access to the ship. And, as revenge for bringing Allie, he blows up the ship. (You know, the one that Clarke just managed to use as a bargaining chip so t...

Okay! Hello, hello! I'm excited for this week. I haven't really watched any TV, minus the olympics, in over a week. I miss so many of my shows!
Things might end up coming out later in the day then usual this week. Mostly because I'm not ahead, at all (I'm usually at least a day or two ahead), so I'll probably be recording and uploading on the same day for most of the week. But all will come out on the day it's expected.
That said, we're starting S4 of 9-1-1 this week, S5 of Outlan...

Hello, hello. We had such a lovely time. We've actually got a pretty full weekend (and Dan's off until Wednesday, however, I'm back at it on Monday), but I feel so good!
You guys, Montreal is lovely. We ate a ton of poutine, I read a bunch (two books and an embarrassing amount of Buddie fic (thank you, Lisa!), we climbed a crazy amount of stairs to see the skyline (holy shit, am I out of shape), and really enjoyed some immersive theatre, and jazz. All in all, a lovely anniversary. I'm s...

Okay, enough of these Sookie/Eric dreams where I don't know if they are real or not! Lol.
Anyway, Jason and Sookie come home and find the town is a mess and everything is in chaos. The police don't answer the phone, everything is full of graffiti and filth. They head to Bill's and find Jessica, Hoyt, and Hoyt's mom there. Hoyt is on of the few people in the town not possessed by Maryann right now, so he's able to tell them what the hell is going on.
They head over to Sookie's but ...

Was there a point to us spending so much time on Roger this episode? I mean I get what happened, but it seemed to me that we could have gotten that point across in, like, five minutes, not thirty. I really need him to be gone, or at least have way less focus next season.
But anyway, he's trapped with a priest who the Mohawk are also mad at. He tells the priest that love is for suckers, and you need to look out for number one. Roger escapes when they take the priest out to kill him (in a...

And I'm dead. This is now the Felicity Show. I refuse to accept anything else. Why would you have Arrow be the main character in this show when you could have Felicity?!? This has to be everyone's favorite episode, right?
Anyway, we get a bunch of delightful Felicity flashbacks where we see her at MIT as a hacktivist.
A cyberterrorist is attacking Starling City, and obviously, we put Felicity on the case. But she quickly realizes there is nothing she can do to stop it because the ...

This was a little better, tears-wise, but I still managed to be emotional. Why does this show make me cry so much? They've done a really good job fleshing out these characters over the seasons. I really care about them.
Nathan ends up kicking Deb out of the house over her relationship with Skills. I think this is a bit hasty, but it's not my mom. Either way, Deb runs into Carrie at the park and they 'bond' over families not understanding how hard it is to be a nanny. Deb tells her she g...

Thinking they can fool me by pretending to kill of Octavia. Please. That said, Bellamy's anguish was a little hard to watch. It literally just tore through him.
Anyway, Abby, Raven, Murphy, Nyko, and Luna head back to the island to find the lab, which Abby thinks they can use to somehow make a cure out of Luna's blood. Luna is not thrilled about being here. She feels like she's forced to be here and doesn't have any free will.

Okay, so Carl has basically taken over the house. His money, his house, his rules. He's switched up bedrooms, and now Fiona is on the couch (which it's sort of impossible to be on because it's just like a giant house party in there). So, she ends up moving in with Sean.
Lip ends up losing his RA position (because Amanda painted on his wall), and while he's packing to go back home, he gets approached about being the houseboy for a sorority. He immediately accepts as it comes with room an...

Oh, we're getting flashbacks. I'm a sucker for a good flashback.
We see Stefan and Damon with Katherine back in 1864 and they are already fighting over the poor girl. Who, incidentally, ends up turning Stefan into a vampire (although, I'm not yet sure if she turned Damon as well) but she did compel Stefan into not telling anyone that she's a vampire, and claiming the two of them and Damon will always be together.
Anyway, in the present, Stefan tells Elena that he's a vampire and s...

I knew that slimy little weasel was going to try to take Eric's job. And the fact that he's basically willing to take it for way less money than Eric, should tell the committee something. I'm sort of excited by the prospect of Eric starting over though. Plus, it totally solves the problem, of what are we gonna do when all o...

Okay, so, this was an action packed season finale. I liked so much about it. I think this was probably the best episode so far.
We've got Eleven showing back up. Her reunion with Mike was delightful. And her non-introduction to Max was fun.
But onto the real story. We've got three different stories running simultaneously here. And all of them are dependent on each other. Joyce, Nancy and Jonathan take Will to Hopper's cabin in the hopes of burning the cloud, spider monster out o...

Aunt Jocasta must me having Claire flashbacks with Brianna in the house. She is as direct and outspoken as her mother. She wants nothing to do with all this matchmaking. From her point of view, she already has a husband.
Anyway, lots of not so lovely men are vying for her hand, and she doesn't want any of it. In the morning, her servant (who may or my not be called Ephedra) tells her excitedly that one of the men is set to propose. Brianna is horrified and asked her to fetch Lord John ...

OMG. I knew this was gonna be a rough episode, but I think I cried here just as much as I did after Keith died. I mean, I am an emotional person by nature, but this was insane. Lots of ugly crying, but I guess you guys are used to that by now.
How do you explain to a five-year-old that their friend is dead? I do not envy Nathan and Haley this episode. I love that Jamie asks if he can have Q's jersey, and Nathan tells him, he thinks Q would like that. I 100% agree. He loved Jamie was muc...

While we're working on sealing up the ship, Raven keeps insisting to Clarke that she make a list of the hundred people who they'll be decided get to live. Clarke continues to put it off, but eventually sits down and does it. She puts Bellamy at number 99, and he puts Clarke at 100 after she is unable to to put herself on the list.

She's trying to bond with her so that ultimately, she won't get kicked out of the house, but I don't know if it's working. Also, I love the fact that no one knows what a gender reveal is. Elena is putting things together. For me, that video from 1953 would also be the nail in the coffin (no pun intended). And I know this is a fictional universe, but could you imagine? Trying to hold the fact that the guy you're sort of dating is a vampire, but also not believing vampires exist? What a head trip.

Okay, so we are 100% right back to season one. Lol. The next episode is the S3 finale and it's totally gonna be a 'who will Felicity choose, isn't it?' Right now, Noel has told Felicity that she can't have the job if she brings Ben with her. And she told him, if she takes the job, she's bringing Ben. So they are at a stalemate. I can only assume some fight will come up between her and Ben next episode to make her contemplate taking the job and leaving him behind.

Dude. This opposing team is huge. No wonder they are undefeated. Are we sure they are actually in high school? Being down almost 30 points at the half is crushing. But it did get Matt in the game. And between him and Riggins we came so close. It was definitely unrealistic, but I didn't care. It what I wanted to see, let's be honest. And Eric's speech after the game was lovely.
