Chapter 91: Bardock's Plan

"The next issue is the defense of Red Mountain Planet. To ensure the safety of Red Mountain Planet, we need to establish a specialized combat force dedicated to its protection! In addition, there's the matter of training the young Saiyans. These actions must be implemented as soon as possible…"

Not knowing the cost of firewood, rice, oil, and salt until one becomes the head of a household, Xavier realized that once one assumes the role of leader, the responsibilities are indeed overwhelming.

Although he could not personally attend to all these matters, given that this was the foundation-building phase of his leadership, many issues still required his direct supervision. Some responsibilities had to be shouldered, not carelessly dismissed.

At that moment, Xavier couldn't help but wonder how King Vegeta had managed it all.

Indeed, a ruler's long and prosperous reign isn't just about wielding mighty power; it also requires a fair share of governing wisdom and a capable management team at his disposal.

On the military front, Xavier had no issues, but his management team paled in comparison to King Vegeta's. The available talents were only Adriel and Belruk, indicative of a venture still in its early, troubled stages. Sometimes, he thought it would be better if a group of intellectuals could emerge among the Saiyans.

Of course, this thought was fleeting. Xavier quickly shifted his focus to the Phrygians. Perhaps, the ideal force composition could be achieved by combining the scholarly nature of the Phrygians with the martial prowess of the Saiyans— a perfect symbiotic relationship!

"We can select the strongest among the current Saiyans to form the Red Mountain Guard. Let's tentatively set the number at 1000 members!" Xavier proposed the idea of establishing the Red Mountain Guard.

The scale of the guard was determined by the number of Saiyans, as their population was not large enough to allow for rapid expansion of the force.

Xavier continued, "The focus should be on the training of the underage Saiyans. I want to select a group from them, divide them into several teams for training, aiming to eventually form several special operations squads like the Ginyu Force."

"If we teach these Saiyans the method of cultivating 'Ki', I believe they will quickly form a formidable fighting force!"

Adriel immediately understood Xavier's intentions and his eyes lit up, already foreseeing the terror of the Ginyu Force.

He nodded earnestly, saying, "You're right, Xavier. The Saiyans of Red Mountain Planet won't stay confined forever, so it's better to start training the special forces sooner rather than later. And establishing a conventional force for guarding Red Mountain Planet should also begin now, starting with the strongest Saiyans available."

"In that case, Shalyn, compile a list of the strongest Saiyans," Xavier turned to the female Saiyan.

"Yes!" Shalyn responded, standing tall, her graceful figure unmistakable.

"As for the personnel of the special forces, Celine and I will personally select them. They will be the core strength of Red Mountain Planet!" Xavier said with a slight smile.

"Alright, let's proceed with that plan!"

Over the next few days, Xavier and Adriel were busy with personnel issues.

Adriel's task was relatively straightforward. After receiving the list of Saiyan warriors from Shalyn, the Red Mountain Guard was quickly assembled.

It must be said that Saiyans are naturally qualified warriors; there was never a need to forcibly conscript anyone.

On the contrary, when the leaders like Xavier announced the formation of the Red Mountain Guard, Saiyans eagerly signed up, even competing in several bouts to secure a spot!

With the final roster announced, those Saiyans who didn’t make the cut returned home with disappointment and immediately began intense training, as if not being selected was a matter of great shame. This behavior baffled several observing Phrygians, who found it hard to comprehend the Saiyan mindset.

The Red Mountain Guard's primary duty was to ensure the safety of the entire planet. Given that nearby planets posed no threat to Red Mountain Planet, the guards, like other Saiyans, used their time to engage in various forms of training.

Xavier's responsibilities were more complicated, as the special forces team would be the first to undergo training in "Ki," requiring meticulous selection of its members.

It took two weeks to establish the personnel framework.

Xavier selected eighty-five underage Saiyans, most of whom were quite young, as younger individuals are less influenced by conventional ideas and more malleable.

Despite their youth, these children were already aware of what was expected of them and were extremely excited from the moment they were chosen.

Among Xavier's squad, Shakda, Atasya, Jelin, Rida, Belit, and others, although slightly older, had already been exposed to the concept of Ki and were included for further detailed training in its use.

Apart from these familiar faces, the young leader among these children was Merus.

Having narrowly escaped death through a rift in time, Merus turned misfortune into a blessing, with her power level skyrocketing to 1600, making the already exceptional child even more outstanding, and her inclusion in the special forces was a certainty.

However, perhaps due to inherent disapproval, Celine and Merus did not get along well. Whenever they were together, tension was evident, with neither willing to back down.

Celine disliked how Merus clung to Xavier all day, while Merus was prideful, her haughty demeanor causing Celine much frustration. Yet, Adriel was particularly fond of Merus, even going so far as to adopt her as his goddaughter!

Following her parents' involvement in King Vegeta's rebellion and their subsequent deaths in the destruction of Planet Vegeta, Merus, now alone, moved into Adriel’s home under Rebecca's arrangement.

Celine grew even angrier, her face puffing up as her starry eyes continuously drifted towards Xavier.

Xavier protested his innocence, insisting it wasn’t his fault! Who could have known that after saving her on Planet Vegeta, Merus’s attitude towards him would take a complete 180-degree turn? From being displeased by his mere presence to earnestly seeking his guidance, becoming so persistent that Xavier couldn’t shake him off!

Perhaps the death of her parents left her deeply troubled, her heart urgently wishing to become stronger! Xavier found himself unable to dislike this little one, who was just over five years old.

Eventually, the embryonic form of the Special Forces was established, with eighty-five young Saiyans divided into twelve groups, each consisting of six or seven, starting their training.

...

Nestled near the city center was a luxurious villa, the new home of Bardock.

Rich aromas wafted from the kitchen where Gine, clad in an apron, was cooking. Her petite frame moved back and forth, humming a tune while expertly plating the dishes.

Since arriving on Red Mountain Planet, Bardock had quickly located his wife, and through the arrangements made by Adriel, they had secured their own home.

Seeing his wife safe and sound, Bardock was emotionally stirred, and soon after, the couple settled down in the luxurious villa in the heart of the city.

As Gine served the steaming food and took off her apron, the two sat down at the dining table. Honestly, Gine felt these days on Red Mountain Planet were some of her most peaceful.

“Bardock, when will we go to Earth to bring Kakarot back?” Gine asked softly.

Bardock set down his utensils, pondered for a moment, and shook his head, “I don’t plan to bring Kakarot back!”

“Why not? Kakarot is our child,” Gine exclaimed, her emotion intensifying.

“Because I can see fragments of the future, albeit scattered, but I know that Kakarot will start a new life on Earth, which will greatly aid his growth!”

“But, he’s my child!”

Bardock smiled and said, “Kakarot will become the legendary Super Saiyan!”

“Super Saiyan?”

Gine paused, then recalled the ancient legend.

“How can Kakarot, a low-class warrior, become the legendary Super Saiyan?” Gine asked quietly.

“I was skeptical too, but the destruction of Planet Vegeta confirmed what I saw. The curse of Planet Kanassa does let me see the future!” Bardock looked up earnestly at Gine, “Frieza will die at the hands of Kakarot, defeated by a Super Saiyan!”

“That’s why I must not interfere with Kakarot’s growth.”

“But if you want to see Kakarot, we could discreetly observe his progress.”

Understanding dawned on Gine, who nodded sagely, showing deep understanding concerning her youngest son’s development.

"By the way, Bardock, does your head still hurt?"

"Ah, it comes and goes, and when it does, it's truly unbearable!"

"What can we do? Why not ask Lord Xavier for help? He might have some way to alleviate it," Gine suggested, her eyes brightening.

"It's not that simple."

Bardock furrowed his brows slightly and shook his head despondently. Lord Xavier was aware of his condition; such curses were not easily dispelled, and Bardock held little hope for a solution.

"I wonder how Raditz is doing now, staying with Prince Vegeta can't be easy," Gine said softly.

Due to Vegeta and the others being under Frieza's constant surveillance, Bardock had no opportunity to bring Raditz over. In the end, although they had two sons, it was just Bardock and Gine living together.

"Look, Gine, don't be so melancholy. Why don't we have another child..."

Bardock's eyes gleamed as he looked at Gine, causing a blush to rise on her delicate face. She gave him an annoyed glance and said, "Is this really the time to be thinking about that?"

"Isn't it the perfect time? Red Mountain Planet is in need of more people, shouldn't we do our part?"

"Just eat your food!"

Gine grabbed a beast's claw from the plate and stuffed it into Bardock's mouth, then hurriedly got up and ran out. Bardock chewed on the beast claw, a warm smile spreading across his face.

Chapter 90: The Leader!

In the universe, while power may not be essential for the strong, it certainly serves as a powerful supplement! The distinction between having a power base and not having one doesn't lie in how much support one's forces can provide in battle.

In a world like Dragon Ball, where formidable martial prowess reigns, a strong individual can typically handle thousands of enemies alone. Against weaker foes, why would such a warrior need help? And when facing equals, where does one quickly find a comrade whose combat power matches their own?

The true value of a power base lies in the control over resources and the ability to command others to undertake cleanup operations and dirty work—tasks that the powerful would naturally avoid.

Consider the infamous Frieza, who can destroy a planet with a mere gesture. However, when it comes to finding a specific person or gathering particular information, he would not undertake such tasks personally; this is where his subordinates' importance becomes evident.

Xavier, observing the entire Dragon Ball universe, understands that possessing a strong, well-organized force makes many endeavors much more effective for those in power!

He raised his hand and pressed it downwards, a heavy oppressive force suddenly descended from the sky, pressing on everyone's chests.

"Fellow Saiyans who have traveled from afar!"

His voice boomed across the open square, clear and resonant even without any amplification. This precise control impressed all the Saiyans present, who looked up, their gazes fixed on the young, dashing leader on the platform, listening intently.

Xavier nodded in satisfaction, then his expression became solemn. "Once under King Vegeta’s command, we Saiyans fought for Frieza, but what did that yield? Infamy, and even the destruction of Planet Vegeta! This was a trampling of Saiyan dignity. Did Frieza think that by wiping out all Saiyans, he could secure his rule?"

"But Frieza was mistaken!"

"The dignity of a Saiyan cannot be trampled upon. We are Saiyans who fled from Planet Vegeta, and we remember this hatred!"

Xavier scanned the crowd, capturing all the expressions. He voiced what most Saiyans were feeling, stirring their emotions, their eyes blazing with anger.

Seeing that he had sufficiently roused their spirits, Xavier then spoke soothingly: "Although we are few, everyone here is an elite. You have seen the training environment on Red Mountain Planet. I need you all to train diligently, to make the name of the Saiyans resound throughout the universe, even surpassing our previous peaks!"

With that, Xavier unleashed his full aura. In an instant, a tremendous force exploded, like a massive mountain pressing down suddenly. A fierce wind howled, the sky and earth changed colors, and the powerful force attracted charged ions in the air, creating a spectacle of various phenomena.

The Saiyans below felt an overwhelming force descend from the sky, making it incredibly difficult even to breathe. Their faces were marked with shock and awe. Although they had anticipated Xavier's strength, experiencing it firsthand revealed the true extent of his power. Their gazes towards Xavier were now filled with deep respect and admiration.

The pressure of 150,000 in combat strength was not something the average person could withstand; a normal individual standing too close might even be stunned into unconsciousness.

In the face of Xavier’s earth-shattering power, all the Saiyans felt profoundly insignificant, yet this moment also sparked an infinite confidence within them. Saiyans naturally worship strength; it’s a trait etched into their very bloodlines, with only the most formidable warriors earning their allegiance. Xavier's displayed power was more than enough to command their complete loyalty.

Under the leadership of such a formidable warrior, how could the Saiyans not grow stronger? A pillar of belief now supported the heart of every Saiyan present.

Xavier, observing the reactions of the Saiyans below, smiled faintly, knowing he had achieved his goal.

In any realm, true leaders wield both kindness and authority, and Xavier had demonstrated that he was the undisputed ruler of Red Mountain Planet not just through his benevolence but also through his decisive actions.

He then turned his gaze towards Celine and Adriel, signaling it was time to escalate the fervor even further. Understanding his cue, they stepped forward, each releasing their powerful auras. Suddenly, eight more potent forces surged through the air.

Celine, Bardock, Adriel, Rebecca, Belruk, Paradis, Alice, and Liz—all glowed with a sacred, dark golden radiance. Their powers were all above ten thousand, with Celine being the most formidable at 120,000 and Bardock next at over 30,000.

With Xavier’s tremendous power leading, the combined release of nine powerful auras caused the entire Red Mountain Planet to tremble. The overwhelming force made it hard for everyone to breathe.

"My God, that’s Lord Xavier’s power..."

"To think we Saiyans could be this powerful, King Vegeta pales in comparison to Lord Xavier!"

"I wish I could possess such power."

"The girl next to Lord Xavier, that must be Lady Celine, she’s so strong!"

Whispers spread among the Saiyans below, their eyes burning with fervor as they looked towards the platform where Xavier and Celine stood side by side, their pristine white battle suits making them appear even more divine and majestic.

"Long live Lord Xavier!"

"Long live Lady Celine!"

It wasn’t clear who shouted first, but soon, shouts rose one after another, echoing across the square. They expressed admiration for Xavier and Celine and respect for Bardock, Adriel, and the others.

Watching Xavier and his companions, Merus's eyes suddenly brightened, his young mind profoundly struck by the display.

Afternoon.

Hours had passed since the gathering in the square, and all the Saiyans had returned to their homes. However, the impact of Xavier’s display remained strong, especially among those who had recently arrived from Planet Vegeta. They were still deeply immersed in the awe-inspiring display of power they had witnessed.

That day, the training zones were overwhelmed with activity; every Saiyan, whether child or adult, headed there without a second thought. A craze for training swept across Red Mountain Planet.

In a small conference room, Xavier, Adriel, and others gathered to discuss the future of the Saiyans on Red Mountain Planet.

"A census has shown that there are currently 14,622 Saiyans on Red Mountain Planet, including 10,284 adults and 4,338 minors, with a balanced gender ratio," reported a female Saiyan named Sharlin, who was among the first batch of Saiyans to be relocated. Xavier had assigned her the task of recording the demographics and other data concerning the Saiyans on Red Mountain Planet.

Adriel nodded and responded, "That's a substantial number, but we still lost over three thousand Saiyans in the destruction of Planet Vegeta." Originally, the numbers should have been around fifteen thousand from the relocation by Shenron, plus an additional three thousand who were early settlers on Red Mountain Planet, totaling about eighteen thousand.

Regrettably, over three thousand did not survive.

"However, having over ten thousand is sufficient to form a nation," Xavier mused, feeling quite satisfied. In the universe, aside from asexual species, population is crucial for the continuation of a race. Over ten thousand individuals were just enough to sustain a Saiyan lineage.

"Among these Saiyans, there are 212 elite warriors, 4,240 mid-level warriors, and the rest are low-level warriors," Sharlin continued with the report.

At this point, Adriel waved his hand with a smile and said, "I think we shouldn't worry too much about the matter of potential. After all, with the advanced training methods Xavier has provided, we won't face issues related to potential differences for the time being."

If the training methods involving ki were promoted among all Saiyans on Red Mountain Planet, the entire Saiyan race would enter a phase of comprehensive development.

At that moment, all Saiyans would start from the same point. The difference between low-level and elite warriors wouldn't be significant, primarily affecting only the speed of ki mastery. It could be anticipated that for a considerable period, potential would not be a major obstacle to the progress of the Saiyans.

Only when surpassing a certain level and stepping into higher realms would potential issues become apparent again. By then, however, the gap between low-level and elite warriors might not be as pronounced.

Chapter 89: Landing on Red Mountain Planet

The sky above Red Mountain Planet was clear, dotted with clouds that drifted lazily in the high expanse. Ever since over ten thousand Saiyans had relocated from Planet Vegeta, pioneers like Sadie had been riding a wave of high spirits, diligently escorting each wounded warrior into the healing chambers.

Five days later, most Saiyans had emerged from recovery. They greeted the rising sun, its warm rays casting a glow on these newly rejuvenated warriors, making them feel reborn.

With the arrival of these Saiyans from Planet Vegeta, the settlement on Red Mountain Planet had grown significantly, marking it as the sole sanctuary for Saiyans in the universe.

The newcomers were first introduced to the planet’s vibrant atmosphere of construction and renewal. They discovered a world ripe for development beyond the central hub that was already taking shape. It wouldn’t be long before massive cities would rise from the ground.

In the training zone, Sadie was busy guiding the new arrivals through the array of high-tech training equipment, a task he had been performing regularly these past days.

Groups ranged from as many as sixty to as few as twenty, and Sadie tirelessly explained everything about Red Mountain Planet, from the provisional governance structures set by Xavier and Adriel, which helped them assimilate into this new world, to the various state-of-the-art training devices.

“This is a basic gravity chamber,” Fidaya person Ero said, standing before a massive structure. “It's three hundred fifty meters in diameter and two hundred twenty meters tall, capable of adjusting up to 20 times standard gravity, accommodating fifty individuals at a time.”

Gravity chambers were categorized by their complexity and function into basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. The basic chambers, most numerous throughout the training area, could reach up to 20 times the force of gravity—adequate for the majority of Saiyans who were still at an introductory phase of their training.

There were also intermediate and advanced gravity chambers available, offering up to 100 and 300 times the force of gravity, respectively. The very highest-grade chambers, like the one Xavier had used, could withstand up to 500 times normal gravity. These were intricate in design and high in energy consumption, not yet widespread at this stage of development.

“Can these gravity chambers really enhance our combat abilities?” some of the Saiyans inquired curiously, their eyes sparkling with a mix of wonder and anticipation as they gazed at the gleaming machinery.

“Of course, they can. Haven’t you noticed an increase in your own power since arriving here on Red Mountain Planet?” responded another Saiyan, stepping forward before Ero could answer, fresh from training in one of the chambers.

Because the gravity chamber can alter gravity levels, those Saiyans who enter experience multiple times the gravitational force of the outside world. In response to this heightened gravity, their bodies undergo stress-induced adaptations, and by gradually increasing the gravity multiplier, their combat capabilities correspondingly grow.

This principle similarly applies to the inherent gravitational force of Red Mountain Planet itself, which possesses 12 times the gravity of Planet Vegeta, making it a superior environment for enhancing Saiyan combat abilities through prolonged exposure.

The questioning Saiyans fell silent, perhaps not yet fully aware of their own power increases due to their short time on Red Mountain Planet. Reluctant to admit "I haven’t noticed an increase in my power," they chose instead to remain quiet.

However, testimonials from those who had used the gravity chamber eliminated any remaining doubts about its effectiveness. There was a sense of wonder among them, lamenting that such an incredible tool for enhancing their strength had not been discovered sooner.

Seeing their captivated expressions, Sadie waved his hand and declared with a hearty laugh, “Why not experience it for yourselves?”

He led the group into the gravity chamber. The basic chamber was vast, resembling a large gymnasium designed for group training, with plenty of room even after they all entered.

"Let's start with 16 times the gravity," Sadie suggested with a smile.

Ero nodded, then headed to the control room to set the gravity to 16 times standard. As the chamber's engines hummed to life, there was initially no noticeable change—just the sound of the machinery.

But just when everyone was starting to relax, it felt as if a switch had been flipped. A powerful gravitational force suddenly bore down on them. It was as if invisible chains were pulling on every limb, every organ, and every cell, subjecting them to an intense gravitational force.

The Saiyans in the gravity chamber all bent over, struggling against the increased gravity that now burdened every cell of their bodies.

"How about that... the feeling of this gravity chamber... pretty intense, isn't it?" Sadie managed to say, his words coming out in bursts. He normally trained at 15 times gravity, and the jump to 16 times was proving to be a challenge even for him.

Every person has a limit, much like the final straw that breaks the camel’s back. Even someone who can lift 120 kilograms may find just one more kilogram too much to bear.

As newcomers, most of the Saiyans possessed excellent potential, and their strength was somewhat greater than Sadie's, but the sudden immersion in intense gravity meant their bodies couldn't instantly adapt. Droplets of sweat glistened on their cheeks as their energy rapidly drained.

One minute later, when the gravity was switched off, they slumped to the ground, panting deeply.

"This is incredible... I feel as though I've just been through an intense battle."

"Training in this environment will definitely enhance our strength significantly..."

"Yes, the gravity on Planet Vegeta was already stronger than that of many other planets, which contributed to our robust physiques. Now, with these gravity chambers, we can enhance our strength even more conveniently!"

Chosen by Xavier and Adriel for their rational thinking and robust physiques, these individuals were also seasoned warriors, veterans of many battles.

Their eyes sparkled with eagerness as they looked toward the gravity chamber, like someone reuniting with a long-lost love, their gazes burning with passion.

At that moment, a message came through on the communicator. Fidaya person Ero received it and approached Sadie and the others: "Everyone, we've just received a message from the communications center. Lord Xavier and Mr. Adriel have returned. Please gather at the open square on the west side of the city immediately."

"Lord Xavier and Mr. Adriel are back?" The crowd showed a mix of expressions. Sadie and his group displayed surprise and delight at the news of their return. The Saiyans from Planet Vegeta exchanged glances, filled with curiosity and anticipation, as well as excitement and nervousness at the prospect of meeting the powerful leaders.

They were about to meet the legendary leader who had taken charge on Red Mountain Planet. Their emotions were complex; back on Planet Vegeta, they had followed the orders of King Vegeta, but here, their new leader was Xavier. This shift was difficult to process.

It was said that their lives had been saved by Xavier, who not only rescued them but also preserved the Saiyan lineage. Their feelings towards Xavier were mixed with gratitude and curiosity.

Being handpicked by Xavier meant they were more rational than other Saiyans. This was why Xavier had chosen them: to rebuild a Saiyan nation known for its quality and superior combat abilities, rather than one feared across the universe as barbaric.

"Lord Xavier has returned, all Saiyans please proceed immediately to the open square on the west side of the city!"

"Lord Xavier has returned, all Saiyans please proceed immediately to the open square on the west side of the city!"

The announcement echoed through streets and alleys. Whether they were at home or in training areas, all Saiyans, upon hearing the broadcast, ceased their activities and rushed towards the open square.

One by one, the Saiyans took to the skies, soon filling the air with a dense mass of figures speeding towards the horizon.

Under Ero's guidance, the new Saiyans headed toward the open square on the west side. Fortunately, the square was not far from the center of the city, and within minutes, like raindrops, the Saiyans descended upon the expansive marble-paved ground.

The square, hundreds of meters in length and width, quickly filled with bustling activity.

Aside from those still receiving treatment in the healing chambers, nearly all Saiyans on Red Mountain Planet had gathered here, whispering among themselves and looking expectantly toward the central platform, which stood several meters high.

Soon, a whirlwind descended unexpectedly, silencing the crowd. They watched quietly, knowing that their leader, Lord Xavier, would soon arrive.

True to their expectations, shortly after, figures descended from the sky. With their arrival, a series of formidable auras swept across the assembly like a tidal wave, the intense pressure radiating outward in all directions.

On the platform, leading the group was a young Saiyan dressed in a pristine white battle suit. Though young, he exuded the oppressive aura of a high-ranking leader. Xavier and Celine stood side by side, flanked by Adriel, Belruk, and Bardock. Behind them stood younger Saiyans like Merus and Shakda.

The assembly below fell silent, awed by the presence of the figures above. Even these experienced warriors were subdued by the aura emanating from the Saiyans on the platform.

Xavier looked over the crowd with a clear gaze, seeing the sea of heads below him stirred a sense of accomplishment within him. If nurtured properly, these Saiyans could form a formidable force.

Chapter 88: A New Beginning

The world of Dragon Ball is filled with a myriad of peculiar powers, from technology and psychic abilities to magic and secret techniques—all significant in their own right. Yet, in a universe where personal martial prowess is paramount, these unique talents often get overshadowed by the sheer intensity of energy-based attacks.

The curse of the Planet Kanassa is inclined towards the realm of magic. Xavier, unfamiliar with magic, felt utterly helpless witnessing Bardock's torment.

Fortunately, Bardock's pain was like a fierce storm—swift in its arrival and equally quick in departure. Soon, he was back to normal, his breathing steady once again.

"You must have been struck by the curse of the Planet Kanassa, what did you see?" Xavier furrowed his brow in concern but was curious as Bardock seemed to regain his composure.

Wiping the sweat from his brow, Bardock gave Xavier a puzzled look, wondering how he knew about his condition. Given that Xavier mentioned the curse, Bardock saw no need for secrets and shook his head, "Just a jumble of chaotic fragments, all haphazardly assembled, making no sense at all."

"I see," Xavier nodded, realizing how the fragmented and tangled memories brought on by the curse could indeed be difficult to untangle.

"By the way, you mentioned earlier that my wife has been moved somewhere else, what exactly happened?" Bardock calmed down and inquired about the situation on Planet Vegeta.

To a Saiyan like Bardock, Planet Vegeta held extraordinary significance. However, with the planet now destroyed, he refrained from asking how it happened, instead, he was more concerned about the wellbeing of his family, specifically his wife Gine.

"Take it easy!" Xavier, noting Bardock's likeness to a future Goku with almost ninety percent similarity, smiled reassuringly and gestured for patience before elaborating, "It’s a long story, actually. Long ago, we became aware of Frieza's ambitions and anticipated that he would never tolerate the Saiyans as a potential threat. Therefore, we ventured across the universe early on to find a planet suitable for Saiyan habitation and used a mystical force to relocate a portion of the Saiyan population to that planet."

"Rest assured, your wife was included in this relocation list. She should now be safe with other Saiyans on Red Mountain Star, located in the Eastern Galaxy."

Listening intently, Bardock nodded in relief upon hearing of his wife's safety, grateful that she and some of their people were spared from disaster.

Bardock looked at Xavier with deep gratitude, his lips moved but no sound emerged.

Xavier noticed Bardock's expression and nodded silently, satisfied that his efforts to aid had not been in vain. As the original Super Saiyan from the canon, having Bardock on his side or maintaining a good relationship with him would be immensely beneficial.

"By the way, Bardock, do you know which planet we are on?" Xavier asked, scanning their surroundings.

To use psychic powers for instant transmission, one needs to know the spatial coordinates between two planets to set the direction.

Frowning slightly, Bardock looked around and recognized some features of the planet. "The vegetation here has needle-like tips. If I'm not mistaken, this should be Planet Dala, about a star sector away from Planet Vegeta."

He then used an energy detector to confirm the current planet's coordinates and, following Xavier's cue, destroyed the device.

"Alright, knowing the coordinates is enough. I'll take everyone away from here first, then head to Red Mountain Star," Xavier said with a smile, briefly explaining how instant transmission works.

"Such a miraculous ability!" Bardock exclaimed in surprise. Considering the reality of the Planet Kanassa's curse, instant transmission didn't seem so far-fetched. Nodding in agreement, he stood beside Xavier.

At that moment, the young Merus regained consciousness from her daze. Realizing she was no longer on Planet Vegeta, she looked around curiously.

"Are we going back? But without a spaceship, how can we leave this place?"

Her memory didn't include anything about the space-time rift; her last recollection was the terrifying destruction of Planet Vegeta, leaving her utterly confused about how she arrived here.

"I naturally have a way!" Xavier chuckled, without giving further explanation.

Merus felt slighted by the disregard, her pride wounded. Although she no longer disliked Xavier as before and even held some admiration for the strong, her pride made it hard for her to accept being ignored. She pouted, appearing sulky and upset.

Seeing this, Xavier smiled gently, paying no heed to the little girl's demeanor. He glanced at Bardock, signaling for them to extend their hands, then closed his eyes to initiate instant transmission. With the power of space-time enhanced, his ability to teleport had grown significantly stronger.

……

On the barren Planet Arid, the winds swept the yellow sands relentlessly, the climate as cold as ever.

Five days had passed since the destruction of Planet Vegeta, and there had been no word from Xavier. Concern grew among his companions, although they tried not to show it.

"Alice sighed, pacing the living room, "Xavier has been gone for so many days, why hasn’t he returned yet?"

Rebecca chimed in, "Yeah, by now Planet Vegeta must have been destroyed."

"Celine must be worried sick, those two have never been apart this long!" Alice added.

"Let's just hope Xavier returns soon..." Rebecca sighed deeply.

Alice suddenly laughed, "Honestly, you parents haven't looked after Celine as much as Xavier has. That kid is so close to him, you guys just don’t measure up…"

"Heh, we're all family here. There’s no difference between us caring for her and Xavier doing it. Do you think Celine doesn't see us as her parents?" Rebecca laughed. It was natural for the family to be close to each other.

Just then, Adriel's booming voice came from outside: "Everyone come out, Xavier is back!"

"See, we were just talking about Xavier and here he is," Alice said with a spring-like smile, her petite frame swiftly bouncing to the door.

In a short while, Adriel, Shakda, and others gathered, and soon fifteen figures congregated on the cold, dim hills.

"Master Adriel!" a crisp voice of a little girl called out from afar. It was Merus, waving her arms and shouting upon seeing Adriel.

"Ah, little Merus is here too."

Adriel grinned broadly, crouching down to take a closer look at his disciple. Then he noticed Bardock standing beside him, his expression tightening with shock.

This Bardock was more powerful than himself!

Adriel felt a strong sense of pressure emanating from Bardock. Having been involved in the evacuation list, Adriel was familiar with Bardock's story. He knew that Bardock was a Saiyan warrior who had climbed from low ranks to strength through sheer determination and prowess.

Respectful of such a trajectory, Adriel had a favorable impression of fighters who rose from the bottom. However, he had not anticipated that Bardock's power would increase so rapidly, reaching a level comparable to his own, perhaps even higher.

"You must be Mr. Bardock. I am Adriel, the captain of the Adriel squad!" Adriel snapped back to reality, greeting warmly.

Surprised by the Saiyans he now faced, Bardock was also taken aback. Besides a few minors, he noticed that the other Saiyans possessed tremendous power, a revelation that excited him, making his blood boil slightly.

"Hello!"

The group began to interact, slowly becoming familiar with one another. As they learned about the complete destruction of Planet Vegeta, everyone felt a deep sense of poignancy, especially upon hearing how Bardock had fought valiantly alone to protect Planet Vegeta until the very end. The respect in their eyes for Bardock was palpable.

Indeed, Bardock epitomized the spirit of a true Saiyan warrior!

Here, excluding Xavier and Celine, Bardock's combat prowess was unmatched.

"Uncle Adriel, now that Planet Vegeta is gone, there's no point in staying here. We should head to Red Mountain Star," Xavier suggested.

"Yes, it's time to move on!" Adriel, with a complex expression, glanced towards where Planet Vegeta once thrived. Now, only cosmic dust scattered in that direction, a silent testament to the former glory of the Saiyan homeworld.

"Indeed, there are many matters to attend to on Red Mountain Star, and we should set off as soon as possible!" Belruk added coldly. As the administrator ranking just below Adriel, while Adriel was in charge of Saiyan combat training, Belruk handled the day-to-day governance of their people.

Red Mountain Star, as the new stronghold for the Saiyans, had suddenly become home to nearly ten thousand Saiyans. Without proper management, the situation could easily spiral out of control.

"Once the Saiyans of Red Mountain Star flourish, we will settle our score with Frieza!"

The group spoke passionately, setting a firm goal for themselves.

After the destruction of Planet Vegeta, the Saiyans of Red Mountain Star would be the only remaining lineage of their kind in the universe. However, they believed that the Saiyans of Red Mountain Star would indeed reach new heights of prosperity.

Chapter 87: A World Split Asunder

After the fusion of temporal and spatial abilities into a superior force, the energies within the time-space rift could no longer harm Xavier. Instead, this newfound power allowed him to navigate the rift with ease, as if a fish had returned to water.

Unhindered by turbulent currents, his body became light and agile. Xavier gradually became accustomed to the new energy. Feeling confident, he suddenly accelerated and quickly reached Merus’s side. He grasped her hand and then continued the search for Bardock.

However, in the vast and bizarre expanse of this space, locating one person proved exceedingly difficult. After a long search, Xavier still had not found any trace of Bardock.

"Could it be that, just like in the original story, Bardock has traveled back to the ancient past?" This thought emerged in Xavier's mind after repeated unsuccessful searches.

The possibility wasn’t far-fetched. Considering Merus, for example, if it weren’t for the protective layer of Dragon Ball energy around her, she might have been lost to who knows where.

Logically, Bardock should also be covered by Dragon Ball energy. Why then was he nowhere to be found?

"Never mind, it seems Bardock is destined to return to the past," Xavier sighed, somewhat regretfully. He had initially hoped to take Bardock to Planet Vegeta, but that plan seemed impractical now.

The mysteries of the time-space rift made it a dangerous place to linger. Though Xavier could now prevent the temporal currents from physically harming him, Merus was not so fortunate.

After a moment of contemplation, Xavier had no choice but to abandon the search for Bardock and instead started to look for a way out of the rift.

The original location of Planet Vegeta lay in a weak spot in space. To reopen a portal, another weak point needed to be found!

But where was this weak point? With no distinct features to guide him, searching felt as futile as trying to find a needle in a haystack.

As Xavier wandered the rift with Merus, he noticed an alarming situation—Merus's energy was growing weaker, and they had yet to find a way out of the rift.

Xavier grew anxious over this predicament.

Just then, he noticed a glowing object in the distance, conspicuous in the dim environment. Could it be the exit? Reinvigorated, Xavier hurried towards it.

As he approached, however, it became apparent that the object was less like an exit and more like… a humanoid figure.

"Bardock, he’s actually here!"

Upon recognizing the figure, Xavier was startled. Bardock was still within the time-space rift.

Bardock's condition was even worse than Merus’s. Having endured the aftermath of a planet's explosion and subsequent erosion by temporal currents, Bardock was utterly spent, his energy barely perceptible.

Regrettably, because they were within the time-space rift, Xavier could not access the dimensional space; otherwise, he could have used a Senzu Bean to heal Bardock's injuries.

"How can we possibly leave this place?"

Clutching tightly to Bardock's body, the three of them staggered and stumbled through the turbulent currents. The Dragon Ball power enveloping Bardock and Merus was slowly fading. The reason Bardock had not traveled to the ancient past, as in the original story, was due to the hold of this Dragon Ball power. Once it fully dissipated, predicting which era they might end up in would be impossible.

"At this point, we have no choice but to go for broke!"

Gritting his teeth and after a quick assessment, Xavier decided to take a desperate chance. He returned to where he had initially found Merus and began to forcefully stimulate the newly acquired temporal power, hoping to artificially create an opening in the vulnerable spot of space-time.

As it was his first time using this power, anything could happen, and Xavier had to rely solely on his instincts to manipulate this unknown force.

Hissing sounds filled the air as silvery-gray energy spread out. Xavier's expression turned grave as he carefully manipulated it, but the rapid drain of space-time energy made his complexion pale, with beads of sweat trickling down his forehead. Meanwhile, the silvery energy swirled around, rapidly enveloping the trio into what resembled a natural cocoon of silver, formed within the space-time rift.

Dark red currents swirled and struck, but upon contact with the silver cocoon, they were instantly dispersed.

Pop! Pop!

Inside, Xavier, Bardock, and Merus remained motionless. The external silver cocoon spun rapidly, disturbing the fabric of space-time and stirring up invisible ripples... Then, with a thunderous noise, the cocoon could no longer withstand the tension and exploded, releasing a surge of energy.

It was like a bomb dropped on a calm lake, creating monumental waves that churned and overlapped, throwing space and time into chaos! Amidst the turmoil, a tear in the space-time rift was torn open, unleashing vast amounts of energy.

...

In the Northern Galaxy on a planet.

The sky was clear and cloudless.

It was a tranquil afternoon with sunshine casting a bright early summer scene. However, suddenly the sky began to roil as if something was about to burst forth. Before the surrounding clouds could disperse, a torrent of red energy, thick like red ink, gushed forth.

Like blood flowing from an invisible burst pipe, it cascaded down, splattering onto the ground. Vegetation withered, rocks shattered—all in an instant, like a witch's potion in a cauldron, instantly corroding everything it touched.

Such was the formidable power of space-time, decaying everything it touched in moments.

"We finally escaped!" A voice exclaimed in surprise as three silhouettes emerged from the tear in the sky.

Xavier, dragging Bardock and Merus, landed on the ground and gasped for air. He quickly opened the dimensional space and retrieved three emerald green Senzu Beans. Merging with the power of space-time did not hinder the use of his spatial and temporal abilities but rather brought a qualitative change to his powers. As for the specifics, further detailed research was necessary to understand fully.

Furthermore, the experiences within the space-time rift not only led to a breakthrough in Xavier's abilities but also fortuitously hardened his physical body. The turbulent currents of time-space had, invisibly, solidified his form, endowing him with a terrifying potency in every movement.

Xavier roughly estimated that his power level had now surpassed 150,000, an increase of nearly 5,000 from before.

Holding the three Senzu Beans, he consumed one himself, and the rich life force within instantly rejuvenated him.

He then fed a bean each to Bardock and Merus. Their breathing gradually stabilized, and the injuries inflicted by the chaotic flows of time-space began to heal.

Seeing this, Xavier breathed a sigh of relief. Recalling the peril they had faced, he was still shaken.

If it were not for the critical moment when his abilities fused back into space-time energy, he truly wasn't sure he could have escaped the rift. Of course, much was also due to the Dragon Ball power acting on Bardock and Merus. Without the faint pull of this power guiding them toward the reality of Planet Vegeta, they might well have been lost in time.

These factors combined ultimately returned them to the universe.

"Now that Bardock hasn't traveled to the ancient past, does that mean we've created a world where Bardock doesn't exist, and thus, a world without the legend of the Super Saiyan?"

Xavier sat down cross-legged and pondered.

In the original storyline, because time travel can easily create parallel universes, both the gods and the cosmic laws strictly prohibit the creation of time machines and any form of time travel.

Originally, Bardock should have traveled to the ancient past during the destruction of Planet Vegeta, slain the ancestor of the Frieza clan, a space pirate named Chilled, and left behind the legend of the Super Saiyan.

However, now that he had interfered, Bardock hadn't made the trip, potentially creating a parallel universe without the Super Saiyan legend!

"Heh, why am I even thinking about this? It's not my concern!"

After some thought, Xavier shook his head, feeling he had overthought the situation. These concerns seemed beyond what he should be contemplating. Parallel universes had nothing to do with him. Whether another universe existed or not had no bearing on his current situation.

What Xavier didn’t realize was that twelve years earlier, when he had traveled to the world of Dragon Ball, his arrival had already caused a split.

He was like a virus, suddenly appearing in this world.

From that moment, the world had split into two parallel universes: one where "transmigrator Xavier exists" and one where "transmigrator Xavier does not exist." The universe where "Xavier exists" was the one he currently inhabited, while the "Xavier does not exist" universe was similar to the original Dragon Ball world.

In the original narrative, a Saiyan named Xavier might also exist, but this Saiyan would likely have perished during the destruction of Planet Vegeta.

His act of saving Bardock this time had merely added another parallel universe—one without the Super Saiyan legend—to the mix.

……

After an indeterminate amount of time, Bardock and Merus gradually awakened. Having gone through a near-death struggle, the Saiyan trait of "near-death power boost" had unlocked all the latent potential within them.

The result was staggering: Bardock's power level surged to 30,000, while Merus also experienced an increase, reaching a power level of 1,600.

"Where are we?" Bardock asked groggily as he woke up, his mind still clouded. Then, remembering the events before he lost consciousness, his expression changed drastically. "What about Planet Vegeta? What happened to it?"

"Planet Vegeta has been destroyed by Frieza," Xavier replied solemnly.

"What!" Bardock was stunned, his eyes vacant as he processed the news.

"But you can be at ease; your wife has been moved to another location," Xavier added.

"Really?" Bardock clung to this news like a lifeline, suddenly grabbing Xavier by the shoulders. Then, a sudden intense pain struck him, causing Bardock to stagger, clutching his head in agony as sweat beaded on his forehead.

"The curse of Planet Kanassa?" Xavier glanced at Bardock sympathetically, aware that a Senzu Bean would not cure this type of ailment. Only magic or the power of the Dragon Balls could lift such a curse.

Chapter 86: Temporal Energy

After a moment, the atmosphere calmed.

King Cold narrowed his eyes and picked up his wine glass again, taking a few sips before speaking leisurely, "Frieza must be short on manpower now. I'll send my elite troops to support him. Also, keep a close watch on Cooler’s movements and report back immediately!"

"Yes, Lord King Cold!" The extraterrestrial, as if granted a pardon, responded loudly. He then bowed and cautiously made his exit from the palace.

On the splendid throne, King Cold casually swirled his wine glass, the blood-red liquid inside moving freely.

"Cooler, what are you searching for? Don't make any rash moves!" King Cold sneered softly, then drained his glass in one gulp, rising from his throne with his imposing frame.

...

In the northern part of the North Galaxy.

Cooler stood with his hands clasped behind his back on a cosmic platform in the vacuum of space, his eyes as cold and merciless as a demon's, staring into the distant cosmos.

Cooler's typical appearance featured purple skin, and his head, shoulders, and limbs were covered with white sandstone armor. A purple tail trailed behind him.

His overall form was very similar to Frieza's final form but in reversed colors. Where Frieza was predominantly white with purple accents on shoulders and wrists, Cooler’s colors were the exact opposite. Moreover, Cooler appeared more masculine compared to the relatively petite final form of Frieza.

"My lord, with the extinction of the Saiyans, Lord Frieza's forces are vulnerable. Why not seize the opportunity to expand your territory?" Shaviza, captain of the mecha troops, asked with a light smile.

"Shaviza, my foolish brother finally did something right. How could I disturb him at such a time?" Cooler's deep voice echoed, "Besides, my father, King Cold, would not be pleased to see me expand further. It would make him uneasy!"

Mentioning King Cold, Cooler's expression became a bit somber. The one being in the North Galaxy he could never fully understand was his father—the once ruler of the entire North Galaxy, King Cold.

If not for the battle centuries ago with his arch-enemy, King Davido, which, although King Cold eventually repelled him, left him severely injured, it wouldn't have been Cooler's turn to rule.

Recently, however, it seemed King Cold might be considering a comeback, something Cooler was not eager to see. Although confident in his superior strength, King Cold’s long-standing authority and the remnants of his past might were still daunting!

Facing his father, Cooler dared not take any risks.

"Let's leave the matters of the South for now. Any news about the search for the Tree of Might's fruit?" Cooler waved his hand dismissively, then asked earnestly.

Shaviza shook his head, "We've deployed significant forces and scoured the northern regions thoroughly, but we've found no sign of the Tree of Might's fruit yet."

"Don't rush; take it slowly. If it’s not in the northern region, continue searching elsewhere. We will find it!" Cooler nodded slightly, his tone serious.

He hadn't increased his power in many years. As an ambitious king, Cooler could not be satisfied with his current strength. The legendary Tree of Might's fruit might just be the key to further enhancing his power.

Waving Shaviza away, Cooler remained alone in the vacuum of space.

Among the Frieza Race, he was exceptionally talented, yet his younger brother Frieza was more gifted. Without effort, he could lose everything, and that was not what he desired.

In the midst of the turbulent temporal chaos, everything appeared disordered and chaotic.

Xavier never expected that he would find himself tumbling into a time rift alongside Bardock.

To get lost in time was to be doomed forever!

Surrounded by oppressive shades of crimson, the searing heat and energy that struck him were torturous, worse than death. These were the chaotic energies of the time rift, far more terrifying than the spatial rifts Xavier had encountered when using his powers alone.

"I must find Bardock and Merus!" Clenching his teeth, Xavier navigated through the temporal maelstrom, though the severe pain twisted his features grotesquely.

Enduring immense agony, Xavier slowly drifted through the turbulent streams. In the rift, time and space were in disarray; one moment he was here, the next he might find himself far away. In this realm, both time and space were bizarrely distorted.

Facing the time rift, mere pure energy was powerless, or perhaps due to a difference in levels, pure energy had lost its effectiveness here.

Xavier's slender frame struggled in the dark red twisted space, like sinking into a quagmire, continuously pulled at by unseen forces, making every movement exceedingly difficult. The exhaustion from activating his time and space abilities caused his muscles to ache and his brain to gradually cloud.

After an indeterminate amount of time, just when Xavier could no longer sustain his powers, a bright light suddenly appeared ahead.

"That's... Merus!"

A wave of relief washed over Xavier as he saw Merus, glowing radiantly, floating hundreds of meters away.

"The power of the Dragon Balls has been activated; this might be the way out of the temporal chaos." After pondering briefly, Xavier hastened toward Merus’s position.

But at that moment, his energy nearly depleted, his spatial and temporal abilities began to dissipate and soon he could no longer use them at all.

Xavier’s face fell. "When it rains, it pours!"

The major drawback of space and time abilities was their high energy consumption. With no other option, he yelled and waved his arms, relying solely on brute strength to move, but the distance to Merus seemed not to decrease at all.

This harsh reality made Xavier feel a sense of despair. Was he doomed to drift forever in this strange place?

As time slowly passed, Xavier ceased his futile struggles, quietly staying in the space, eyes closed in contemplation.

A moment, a day, a month — perhaps there was no concept of time here at all. Xavier didn’t know how long he had been there.

However, as he spent more time in the temporal maelstrom, a miracle occurred. Xavier faintly felt as though he was reverting to a state before his birth, a warm flow spreading from his chest throughout his body.

"It's a warm feeling, like returning to the embryonic stage." His expression was somewhat enraptured, the warmth reminiscent of being back in the womb.

Suddenly, he realized he had been to this place before!

When had he been here?

"Right, before I came to the Dragon Ball world, in that secluded, dark, mysterious space! The atmosphere here is somewhat similar to that place."

Xavier realized that this dark red time rift felt like the gloomy space he had encountered before, only more bearable than the mysterious and oppressive atmosphere of the initial creation-like grey haze in the mystical space.

As he hesitated, two beams of light emanated from his chest. The temporal and spatial energies, previously depleted, were now reactivating and began to continuously absorb the energies from the time rift.

At this moment, Xavier no longer felt the pain and oppression, but rather a sense of exhilaration and freedom, as if a fish had returned to water. Perhaps due to the more advanced nature of his inherent spacetime energies, he was able to absorb the chaotic dark red currents bit by bit.

Two powers, icy blue and deep blue, began to merge. After integrating the dark red temporal chaos, Xavier's two abilities finally converged to form an independent origin.

"Spacetime energy!"

After the exhaustion of the two abilities, under the influence of the temporal maelstrom, the time and space abilities miraculously fused to create an even more advanced form of spacetime energy!

Chapter 85: Saiyans of Red Mountain Planet

At that moment, they observed a large group of figures flying sporadically from the other side of the distant mountains. Each person was dressed in a sleek, dazzling white battle suit, looking vibrant and energetic.

Noticing the brown tails trailing behind them, the complexions of these Saiyans from Planet Vegeta drastically changed.

"Saiyans, they are also Saiyans!"

Someone shouted, and everyone struggled to their feet. When it became clear that the newcomers were also Saiyans, their anxiety momentarily eased.

"Quick, there are many injured here, let's get the wounded back for treatment!" the arrivals shouted to their companions upon seeing the ground littered with injured.

Every Saiyan who reached Red Mountain Planet was a valuable resource; they couldn't afford to lose anyone due to injuries.

One of the leading Saiyans of Red Mountain approached and asked, "Are you all from Planet Vegeta? Has it been destroyed?"

Seeing the newcomers sadly lower their heads, the Saiyan from Red Mountain sighed, "I'm Sadie, also from Planet Vegeta, but I was brought here early on by Lord Xavier. It seems Planet Vegeta has indeed been destroyed."

"Lord Xavier?" the Saiyans from Planet Vegeta asked, puzzled.

"Lord Xavier is our leader here on Red Mountain Planet. Under his leadership, we relocated here."

Sadie spoke of their new leader, Lord Xavier, with deep admiration, almost going on without end. Realizing he had said too much, Sadie chuckled sheepishly.

"By the way, please destroy all energy detectors immediately. We Saiyans of Red Mountain do not use such devices, and the detectors are fitted with surveillance equipment, making it easy to expose our location."

Hearing this, the Saiyans from Planet Vegeta's faces went pale, and they quickly crushed their energy detectors.

Sadie looked around with a smile, warmly saying, "Since Planet Vegeta has been destroyed, from today onwards, you are all Saiyans of Red Mountain. Let me start by telling you a bit about Red Mountain..."

"Red Mountain Planet is located in the northwestern part of the Eastern Galaxy, close to the center of the Milky Way, about a hundred and eighty thousand miles from where Planet Vegeta was in the Northern Galaxy, so don't worry about Frieza finding us."

"How did we come to be here, given such a distance?" a Saiyan curiously inquired.

"That’s the power of Lord Xavier for you. Let me tell you, despite his young age, he is incredibly powerful!" Sadie said, his face filled with admiration.

"When we first arrived at Red Mountain a year ago, Lord Xavier already had a power level of 120,000. I recently heard from Mr. Adriel that Lord Xavier has made a new breakthrough, reaching a power level of 140,000!"

"How much did you say?"

The Saiyans from Planet Vegeta could hardly believe their ears and asked again for confirmation.

"Lord Xavier has a power level of 140,000!" Sadie said, his face bursting with pride at the surprised expressions around him.

"Don't doubt it, look at my own strength. A year ago, I was only at 3,200, and now I've broken through to 4,600! This is all thanks to the excellent training environment Lord Xavier has provided for us."

Sadie, a mid-level warrior in his twenties, had a power level just over 3,000 a year ago—a slightly above-average rating. In just one year, he had transformed dramatically, miraculously reaching 4,600, a level comparable to that of a high-level warrior with medium talent.

Such progress was astonishingly fast!

The Saiyans from Planet Vegeta, unintentional speakers but intentional listeners, were shocked after hearing Sadie's boasting, their faces lighting up with fervor.

They were utterly amazed!

Just who was this Lord Xavier, and how could he enable other Saiyans to break through so quickly? Had the influence of bloodline and talent been minimized here?

It was evident that the majority of those present were low-level warriors, yet their power surpassed that of average mid-level warriors. And according to them, they had only been training for a little over a year...

Next, Sadie continued to introduce the situation on Red Mountain Planet. The Saiyans from Planet Vegeta learned that there were just over three thousand Saiyans on Red Mountain, most of whom were low-level warriors.

Yet, in such a small population, including the aforementioned "Lord Xavier," there were two Saiyans with power levels over 100,000, and six over 10,000. Apart from the children, the lowest power level among the rest was above 2,500.

What a terrifying force this was!

To the newly arrived Saiyans from Planet Vegeta, the Saiyans of Red Mountain seemed shrouded in mystery, where the limitations of lineage seemed to become irrelevant!

Of course, lineage was still important, but at their current level, it had not yet shown to be a limiting factor.

……

As one of the few advanced planets in the North Galaxy, the destruction of Planet Vegeta had a profound impact. It sent shockwaves throughout the galaxy, its effects spreading swiftly and wide.

Three days after the destruction of Planet Vegeta.

In the eastern reaches of the North Galaxy, within King Cold's palace.

In the opulent halls where music and dance flourished, King Cold lay back on his throne, a picture of ease as he sipped red wine and propped his chin with his hand. His towering, nearly ten-foot stature exuded an oppressive aura.

At that moment, a blue-skinned, bald extraterrestrial hurried into the palace, kneeling to deliver his report:

"Your Majesty, urgent news. Lord Frieza has personally led his forces to Planet Vegeta. All Saiyans perished with their planet."

"Oh, Frieza finally made his move?" King Cold rolled over, setting down his wine glass with a smirk that was both amused and sinister. "It's for the best. Those Saiyans were always a menace. It’s fortunate that Frieza could make such a decisive move!"

Among the lore of the Frieza Race, the Saiyans were indeed seen as a blight, better eradicated sooner rather than later. However, this meant Frieza's forces would now be without a formidable military asset.

"By the way, has Cooler received the news?" King Cold asked with a chilling indifference.

Frieza, his younger son, always heeded his father's words, a fact that pleased King Cold greatly. Yet, for his elder son Cooler, there was a tinge of wariness in his heart.

Years ago, a fierce battle over territories with a formidable opponent left King Cold gravely wounded. Forced to retreat and leave the management of his realms to his sons, years had passed and King Cold had recovered. Yet, Cooler's power had grown to surpass his own, a fact that made King Cold wary.

"Uh, Lord Cooler has been informed already."

"The information network is quite efficient, then. What about his actions? Any moves from his end?" King Cold chuckled, his voice laced with a chilling coldness.

"For now, there are no movements. However, Lord Cooler's forces are adjusting frequently, as if searching for something."

The blue-skinned alien answered cautiously.

Hearing this, King Cold's expression darkened momentarily, his eyes narrowed and his purple lips curled slightly. An aura fierce as a primordial beast erupted from him, sending a powerful wave of energy rolling out in all directions.

Boom!

The energy wave, silent yet swift, formed a chaotic domain filled with oppressive force. The entire palace trembled, enveloped at the center of this swirling vortex...

Chapter 84: The Destruction of Planet Vegeta

"But even with a battle power of 140,000, how does that compare? My regular battle power stands at 530,000! Ants will always be ants, incapable of shaking the mighty trees," Frieza muttered, a sinister gleam flashing in his blood-red eyes. His finger extended once more, conjuring another massive Planet Destroyer Bomb.

"Saiyan, even if you could catch one Planet Destroyer Bomb, could you handle a second?" Frieza smiled faintly as the enormous shadow was cast down, the second bomb following the trajectory of the first, quickly meeting and merging with it, its power dramatically amplified. Xavier was instantly overwhelmed.

"Truly, it is Frieza, summoning such powerful energy spheres effortlessly, without even breaking a sweat. I am not yet his match," Xavier felt as he acknowledged the overwhelming strength of his opponent, disheartened that he couldn't even withstand a casual strike from Frieza.

However, he quickly rallied his spirits, reminding himself that he was still young, only twelve and just entering puberty—a time when his strength could surge unexpectedly.

"If not now, then in the future! What king of the universe? He will be but a stepping stone on my path to becoming a stronger warrior."

"Bardock, it seems that the destruction of Planet Vegeta is inevitable," Xavier accepted this grim reality calmly, ready to retreat if necessary.

However—

"No, I won't let Planet Vegeta be destroyed!"

A voice of defiance echoed through the air, Bardock’s throat dry, his expression desolate. The destruction of Planet Vegeta would mean the death of his wife, Gine. Unwilling to witness such a calamity, he did not retreat but instead prepared to single-handedly catch the destroyer bomb.

Yet the outcome was the same; Bardock's power was far from sufficient.

Seeing this, Xavier shook his head and said, "Don’t worry, Bardock. When Planet Vegeta is destroyed, 15,000 Saiyans, including you and your wife, will be transported away. You’re on the list."

His assurance seemed bizarre, and Bardock, failing to comprehend, persisted in his doomed effort. Xavier frowned, swiftly knocking Bardock unconscious, then used instant transmission to return several people to the ground.

"Huh, we're back on the ground?" Merus mumbled, disoriented from the confusion.

Looking up, a blazing fireball inched closer to the ground. As it descended continuously, the atmosphere churned violently, invisible shockwaves spreading out like parted seas in all directions.

Finally, the destroyer bomb struck the crust, and a thunderous boom shook the stars. The surface violently spewed up countless massive pillars of lava, thousands of kilometers high, as the tectonic plates fractured explosively at that moment.

At the very moment the Planet Destroyer bomb descended, the fate of Planet Vegeta was sealed.

With the sound of cracking echoing, the planet's core bulged and rose dramatically, causing the planet to expand rapidly. At this point, the horrifying surge of energy intensified, pushing Planet Vegeta to the brink of destruction.

However, at the moment the core shattered, specks of dazzling, misty light suddenly appeared across the planet. The wish made a year ago using the Dragon Balls started to take effect, and those of the fifteen thousand listed survivors began to glow with a crystalline radiance.

In the basement of the Bardock household.

Gine was squatting with her knees hugged to her chest in front of the alloy door, her delicate face pressed against her knees. Her hands clasped together, she silently prayed for her husband and child.

Suddenly, a shimmering light began to rise from her, leaving Gine in awe, speechless, before she transformed into a wisp of glowing light and vanished without a trace.

This scene was replicated all over Planet Vegeta. As the planet faced imminent destruction, countless listed Saiyans were transported away by the power of the Dragon Balls, but those killed directly by the destroyer bomb were not so fortunate; the Dragon's power only saved those still alive.

"Wow, what’s happening? Why am I glowing?" Merus curiously touched his luminescent skin.

Soon after, Bardock too began to glow.

"It’s because you're about to leave Planet Vegeta."

Seeing the glow on Bardock and Merus, Xavier realized the Dragon's power was in effect, and they would soon be transported to Planet Cereal.

"I should leave too." Xavier watched the doomed Planet Vegeta and the many confused Saiyans, thinking to himself.

But just as he prepared to use Instant Transmission to escape, something unexpected occurred. The sky cracked open like glass, releasing a deep and powerful chaotic airflow, and before they could react, Xavier and the others were sucked into it.

"What on earth is happening?"

Caught off guard by the sudden turn of events, Xavier struggled to stabilize himself, but the powerful gravitational pull of the spatial rift slowly dragged them in, making escape impossible.

He realized that the force erupting from the spatial rift seemed similar to the time-space abilities he wielded.

"This energy... it’s the power of space-time!"

Xavier's pupils dilated suddenly, and his expression turned grave as he remembered something crucial.

"That's right, the original Bardock didn’t die but fell into a time-space rift during the destruction of Planet Vegeta and was sent back to the ancient past. Could this be that same rift?"

Immediately, Xavier knew they were in trouble!

In the original narrative, Bardock didn’t perish in the explosion of Planet Vegeta. Instead, he traveled through a time-space rift to ancient Planet Vegeta, then known as Planet Plant.

There, Bardock encountered the ancestor of the Frieza Clan, the space pirate Zild, and ultimately transformed into a Super Saiyan to defeat him, giving rise to the legend of the "Super Saiyan" among both the Saiyans and the Frieza Clan—an inherent part of the original narrative's lore of time travel!

Planet Vegeta was actually located at a weak point in the space-time continuum, and the force of its destruction precisely ripped open a gateway through time, with the other side of the rift leading to the ancient world.

"Oh no, I can't be going back to the ancient times!"

Xavier was immensely frustrated, remembering that scene at this critical moment. Clenching his teeth, he quickly moved towards Bardock and Merus, but the massive gravitational pull of the space swallowed them up.

...

In the tranquil vastness of space.

Planet Vegeta, like a colossal firework, blazed with one last burst of brilliance before it dimly vanished from the cosmos, along with the once indomitable Saiyan race.

Of course, this was the perception of most civilizations in the universe.

How many civilizations rejoiced upon learning of the Saiyans' demise, and how many simply scoffed at the news?

In the distant Eastern Galaxy, within the Cereal Star System.

Two brilliantly colorful planets orbited each other, one a smaller azure planet.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Yardratians, a large city capable of housing tens of thousands now stood on Planet Cereal, neatly divided into training, residential, and leisure zones, greatly fulfilling the varied needs of the Saiyans.

The first group of over three thousand Saiyans had gradually adapted to life here.

A new dawn broke, sunlight bathing the land.

The Saiyans engaged in various exercises as usual, with the training zone becoming their favorite spot because the equipment there greatly stimulated their strength development, whereas the leisure zone remained underappreciated.

As they prepared for another day.

The sky suddenly lit up with dazzling, colorful hues, like streaks of rainbows that made the Saiyans stop and watch in awe.

Soon after, figures in black plummeted down like raindrops, the twelvefold gravity catching the newly arrived Saiyans off guard.

"Hey! Those look like Saiyans, did something happen to Planet Vegeta?" some of the surrounding Saiyans changed their expressions dramatically and all flew towards where the figures were landing.

In a dense forest, over ten thousand Saiyans fell, and since most were severely injured, only a few hundred could withstand the crushing force of the twelvefold gravity.

"What place is this?"

"Weren’t we on Planet Vegeta? How did we suddenly end up here?"

"The gravity here is so strong; this isn’t Planet Vegeta anymore."

The leading Saiyans surveyed their surroundings, confirming that they were no longer on Planet Vegeta. As to why they had ended up here, no one could say for sure.

Chapter 83: The Blazing Fireball

Frieza sat in his small hovercraft, his attention drawn to the battle unfolding on the other side. The corners of his mouth twitched upwards, revealing a cold, cruel smile through his purple lips.

"Ha ha, Mr. Dodoria, look at that Saiyan, he seems quite brave, doesn't he?"

Dodoria glanced over and pressed the button on his ear-mounted scouter, setting off a series of electronic beeps.

Seeing the data displayed, Dodoria exclaimed in disbelief, "What! That Saiyan's power level has actually exceeded 10,000! Such strength is something only the elites of the First Corps might handle!"

"Ha ha, these Saiyan warriors would make a formidable squad if they could be made to serve me..." Frieza shook his head, "It's a pity, they are too proud to submit!"

"Ha ha ha, these Saiyans don’t know what’s good for them!"

Dodoria snorted. If they had just obediently followed Lord Frieza, they wouldn’t have invited such disaster.

However, Dodoria also felt somewhat relieved that these Saiyans were so aloof. Otherwise, if another powerful force were added under the king besides the First Corps, he really wouldn't have any role left.

Alas, it was because Mr. Zarbon died early, leaving him isolated and unsupported by Lord Frieza’s side.

Dodoria thought to himself.

"Hmm? Mr. Dodoria, it's about time to call back the First and Second Corps..." Frieza's crimson eyes gazed into the cosmos, speaking faintly.

Dodoria paused for a moment, then quickly realized, a smile spreading across his face: "Yes, I'll call the corps back right away!"

The retreat order was swiftly issued to the First and Second Corps, and these elite warriors under Frieza's command withdrew from the battlefield, leaving only the Saiyans' figures in the near-Earth space.

"What's going on, why are these space-farers retreating?"

"Could it be that Frieza has given up..."

"Great, we've won! The Saiyans have triumphed over adversity once again."

The Saiyans showed joyous expressions. Although hundreds of thousands of warriors had been sacrificed, the Saiyans ultimately secured victory in this battle.

They huddled together in celebration, gradually descending until they entered the atmosphere and then deactivated their energy shields. Only Bardock remained, his expression solemn, still staring into space.

"Is it really over?" he murmured softly, his head throbbing again, "No, the battle isn't over yet. Frieza has withdrawn everyone because he's about to take matters into his own hands."

The fragmented scenes once seen on Planet Kanassa flashed before his eyes again, Bardock’s face contorted, his teeth grinding together with a squeaking noise.

"Everyone, be careful, Frieza is about to make his move!" Bardock shouted loudly.

His warning snapped everyone to attention, their eyes wide as they stared out into space. There, Frieza sat in his tiny hovercraft, his eyes fixed on the dark red planet Vegeta, his mouth emitting a crazy, hissing laughter.

Then, with a flick of his finger, a peanut-sized red dot briefly flickered on his fingertip, shining with an electric glow before suddenly expanding into a massive fireball hundreds of meters in diameter.

It was like a newborn sun, radiating intense light and heat.

Bardock's pupils dilated suddenly, this scene was exactly what he had seen before. His gaze quickly swept towards his home planet, Vegeta, and he gritted his teeth as he charged forward.

"We absolutely cannot let it fall!"

Bardock screamed in his heart, knowing that if the fireball hit, Planet Vegeta would truly be doomed! For his people and his wife, Bardock bravely positioned himself in front of the blazing fireball, then spread his arms wide.

In the hovercraft, Dodoria watched eagerly, his pink skin trembling with excitement.

Every time he saw Lord Frieza's massive fireworks display during a planetary explosion, Dodoria felt a thrill from the depths of his heart. This time was no different; seeing Lord Frieza deploy his signature move made him boil with excitement, eagerly watching the outcome.

"Hmm? That's Bardock... and Frieza's Planet Destroyer Bomb!" Xavier looked up to the sky, where a second sun had now appeared, and whispered softly, "Frieza has finally grown impatient to act, we can't let Bardock 'die' here!"

"What is that?" Merus arched her body, startled by the blazing fireball in the sky.

"Hold on!"

Before Merus could react, Xavier scooped her under his arm and zipped swiftly towards outer space.

"Ah..." Merus covered her face, letting out a series of sharp screams as the biting cold wind hit her forehead, making it impossible for her to open her eyes.

...

"Ha ha ha, damn Saiyan monkeys, perish along with your mother planet into cosmic dust!" Frieza laughed maniacally, his finger lightly tapping, and the massive, blazing fireball immediately revealed its ferocious and terrifying side, roaring towards Planet Vegeta like a demonic beast.

"Frieza, I won't let you succeed!" With an angry roar, Bardock flew in front of the fireball, stretching out his arms, trying to catch the Planet Destroyer Bomb.

"Ah!"

The intense flames scorched Bardock's arms, causing him to emit a painful howl. His face contorted with agony as he struggled desperately, but the energy of the Planet Destroyer Bomb was too immense, far beyond his capacity to withstand.

The fireball inched closer to Planet Vegeta, friction with the atmosphere whipping up a violent tornado. The entire planet's atmosphere began to churn in turmoil.

Frieza watched with interest, as if enjoying a clown's poor performance. This tiny Saiyan daring to attempt to catch his Destroyer Bomb was utterly delusional.

Frieza disdainfully curled his lips, his eyes coldly observing the scene.

"Trash, a mere Saiyan cannot possibly handle Lord Frieza's energy sphere," Dodoria sneered from within the hovercraft, his face full of cold amusement as he watched expectantly.

"We can't let it fall!!"

Bardock was nearly fainting, but a single-minded determination still supported him.

With a whoosh, a small figure appeared beside Bardock, clutching a little girl.

"Xavier, you jerk!" Merus's voice quivered with a hint of crying as she clenched her legs together.

Whimpering, Merus was furious that Xavier had brought her right in front of that terrifying energy sphere—now they were doomed! She bit down on Xavier's hand in her frustration...

"Stop it!"

With a stern rebuke, Xavier gave Merus a few swats on the backside, then extended his hands in front of her shocked gaze.

"Heave!"

As his palms touched the surface of the giant fireball, Xavier's expression grew serious. His arms exerted tremendous force, and the descent of the planet-destroying bomb was momentarily slowed. But it still wasn’t enough; the small reduction in force was futile.

"You are..."

Bardock was startled by the sudden appearance of Xavier, shocked at the youth before him—could this be an underage Saiyan?

"Take care of this child for me; get her to safety!"

Handing Merus to Bardock, Xavier then bellowed loudly, unleashing the latent battle power within him. Suddenly, a battle power of 145,000 erupted, the pale golden aura shimmering with a crystal-clear brilliance.

Bardock and Merus were both stunned, staring at each other speechless.

"Rise!"

Xavier roared again, increasing the energy output from his arms, and the destroyer bomb was forcibly halted.

"How is that possible?" Dodoria exclaimed in shock.

Frieza, with a dark expression, coldly commanded, "Scan that Saiyan's energy level. I want to know exactly how much battle power that Saiyan has!"

Due to their angle of view, Frieza and the others hadn't noticed Xavier's presence and thought it was Bardock exerting the force.

"Yes, Lord Frieza."

The ship's technicians shivered, frantically operating the ship’s large energy scanner, fearful of delaying and provoking Frieza's wrath. Soon all energy levels were clearly determined.

"Lord Frieza, the opponent's energy shows... 145,500!" The voices of the spacemen trembled.

"What, 145,500?"

"How could a Saiyan possibly have such high battle power?" Dodoria was startled, sweat breaking out on his forehead. It was unthinkable for a Saiyan to possess such strength.

"Could that Saiyan have transformed? I've heard that Saiyans can increase their battle power tenfold after transforming into a Great Ape!"

"That's impossible, even the Great Ape transformation has its limits. It can't increase battle power that much... It seems we really need to eliminate this Saiyan quickly!" Frieza chuckled cruelly, his voice cold and ruthless.

Chapter 82: A Grim Battle

"Heh, the little brat is pretty tough, huh? Managed to run for so long!" The pale yellow alien grinned viciously, licking his lips and revealing sharp fangs.

"Waaah, don't eat me..."

Merus was cornered against a wall, desperately pressing herself against it, but now there was no escape. The little girl was panicking, her eyes tightly shut. Then, a "splat" sound of blood spattering filled the air, accompanied by a painful scream. Surprised, Merus opened her eyes only to find a tall figure standing in front of her.

"Ah, it's you!" Recognizing the person, Merus cried out in astonishment. She hadn't expected her savior to be Master Adriel's nephew!

Having faced the greatest fear of her life, a flood of emotions overwhelmed her. Suddenly seeing someone familiar, she couldn't help but throw herself into his arms and burst into tears.

Merus, a child with exceptional potential, was on Xavier's list of people to evacuate. She could not be allowed to die on Planet Vegeta before its destruction.

"There, there, Merus, stick close to me now. Every place on Planet Vegeta is extremely dangerous right now," Xavier comforted her, gently patting her head. He had always had a soft spot for children.

"These past few months, I've been looking for Master Adriel, but he was never home. And today... suddenly everything changed. So many people want to kill me..."

Merus calmed down from her frantic state, her eyes red as she looked up at Xavier. Although she had always disdainfully seen Xavier as merely a mid-level warrior, being by his side now was the only source of safety she felt.

"Uncle Adriel and the others are elsewhere!" Xavier looked around the shattered city and sighed. "Frieza's goal is to kill all Saiyans. We can no longer stay on Planet Vegeta."

Following this, Xavier led Merus through the streets. The girl became unusually quiet, timidly following him. Xavier glanced at her and thought to himself that the little one was truly terrified.

In the city, where gunfire filled the sky, the figures of Xavier and Merus—tall and small—stood out distinctly. To the aliens, they seemed like prey, and they attacked one after another in a frenzied rush.

But whenever this happened, Xavier would simply throw his fists without a word. His seemingly effortless strikes always resulted in the death of his foes. Soon, the number of aliens who died by Xavier's hand surpassed ten thousand.

Considering these aliens each had over two thousand in combat strength, it was incredible that they were no match for Xavier. Merus watched in disbelief, her mouth agape.

As the number of aliens killed by Xavier continued to increase, Merus gradually became numb to the violence.

It was in this moment that she realized just how much more powerful Xavier was than she had ever imagined. Watching him handle the situation with such ease and flair, Merus's eyes brightened with admiration, and a hint of worship started to form in her gaze.

"Hey, just how powerful are you? Why can't any of those aliens match you?" Excited, Merus clung to his hand, her previous resentments evaporating in an instant.

Xavier continued walking forward. "You'll understand in time. But how come you're out here alone? Where are your parents?"

Merus pouted slightly, her discontent apparent. "Who knows where they've run off to? I just heard the explosions and came out to see, only to find those aliens massacring Saiyans. I managed to kill a few weaker ones, then that alien chased me."

"Woo, that alien was really strong, kept chasing me without giving up..."

Recalling the harrowing experience, Merus's legs still felt weak. If not for Xavier's timely arrival, she would have been killed by that despicable alien.

Merus's parents had likely been summoned by King Vegeta, Xavier thought to himself. True to the typical Saiyan nature, they had responded to the king's call and gone to fight against Frieza's legions.

Yet, it was impressive that Merus, still so young, had managed to kill significantly strong aliens. Although she might have used the element of surprise, it was still quite remarkable.

As Xavier and Merus continued to eradicate the extraterrestrial threats on Planet Vegeta, in the vast cosmos, dazzling flowers of light blossomed in space.

The Saiyan elite warriors had encountered Frieza's first legion and engaged in fierce combat in outer space.

Space combat posed inherent limitations for Saiyans, as they could not survive in a vacuum. They had to envelop themselves in energy to make brief stays in space, which added an extra layer of risk in the perilous battles.

Many Saiyans ultimately could not withstand the onslaught and perished under the aliens' spears and cannons. Their bodies floated in space, then were incinerated by sweeping energy blasts.

Driven by fury, the Saiyans charged forward recklessly. Against the backdrop of the dark red Planet Vegeta, orange lights flickered in the tranquil cosmos... everything appeared so brutal.

Not far from them, numerous disc-shaped spacecraft were strategically positioned.

Soon after the first and second legions initiated their assault, the third and fourth legions of aliens joined the battle. Clad in armor and wielding energy cannons, they swarmed out like locusts. From a distance, they looked like a dark, overwhelming mass, covering the sky.

Soon, the space around Planet Vegeta was ablaze with electrical and fiery exchanges.

Half an hour passed in the blink of an eye, and hundreds of thousands of Saiyans had fallen on the battlefield. Watching the Saiyan warriors, bruised and battered yet still charging forward relentlessly, tears welled up in Bardock's eyes. Wasn't this the very scene he had witnessed on Planet Kanassa?

"Frieza!!" Bardock clenched his teeth in anger.

With a roar, his body suddenly erupted in a thick, pale golden energy barrier. This dense energy shield enveloped him, burning fiercely as Bardock's icy gaze fixed on the direction where Frieza was located.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Bardock fought in close quarters, his figure turning into a blur, rapidly moving to confront the aliens, furiously hurling energy spheres from his hands.

"So fast!"

Seeing Bardock's combat prowess, the surrounding aliens panicked, retreating en masse. However, a few bold ones advanced instead of withdrawing, grouping together to tightly surround Bardock. Some even rushed forward to grapple him fiercely.

"To hell with all of you!"

With a thunderous yell, a dazzling bright light flashed.

Bardock unleashed a massive burst of energy, blasting away the aliens clinging to him. The surging energy wave continued to ripple outward, incinerating all aliens within a hundred-meter radius to dust.

"Well done!"

"Long live Mr. Bardock!"

"Everyone charge, kill those damned aliens!"

"For the honor of the Saiyans..."

The remaining Saiyans were greatly inspired and charged at Frieza's legions as if invigorated. Bright flashes erupted abruptly, and thunderous explosions resonated in their ears. Some Saiyans, knowing they couldn't defeat their foes, chose to self-destruct, taking their enemies with them.

Watching Saiyan after Saiyan sacrifice their lives, Bardock's heart was torn asunder, and his attacks became even more ruthless. With a snap, he grabbed an alien by the leg, exerted force with both arms, and brutally snapped it...

Chapter 81: Merus in Danger

"Now, the whole of Planet Vegeta has descended into chaos," Gine said, her face clouded with worry as she looked at her husband.

It turned out that Bardock was right; Frieza indeed had ulterior motives. The situation had become crystal clear—Frieza had summoned all Saiyans back to Planet Vegeta to wipe them out in one fell swoop.

She was immensely relieved that she had secretly sent Kakarot away last night, for today the airspace was completely locked down, making it impossible for any spacecraft to take off.

Bardock sat silently on a stool, clutching his headband.

"Gine, come with me, stay inside and do not come out!"

They moved to the basement, where Bardock instructed Gine to hide. He planned to seal the entrance as he left. This basement, originally built to train Kakarot, was extremely sturdy; even if the surface was leveled, it wouldn't affect the space below.

"Bardock, be careful!" Gine watched him with concern. She did not hold him back, knowing that in such critical times her husband could not just stand by.

Bardock nodded solemnly. Gine was just an ordinary low-class warrior, with a power level below two thousand; hiding in the basement was the only way to ensure her safety.

After holding her in a tight embrace, Bardock resolutely walked out of the basement.

He then closed the basement's hatch, completely isolating it from the outside world, donned his battle armor, tied a red ribbon around his head, and resolutely set out...

This battle was almost certainly a fight to the death.

...

In space.

Frieza stood at the ship's window, leisurely gazing at the dark red Planet Vegeta, which reminded him of a delightful red wine, captivating and memorable.

After sipping some wine, the fragrant aroma intoxicated him. Frieza chuckled softly, holding his wine glass as he walked over.

"Mr. Dodoria, look at how beautiful this planet is, just like a ruby. Soon, it will turn into beautiful fireworks!" His raspy voice echoed in the hall, his face drunk with anticipation, radiating a chilling coldness.

Dodoria cruelly laughed, "Lord Frieza, all units are ready. Just awaiting your command, and then those proud Saiyans will witness your majesty."

"Hoho, Mr. Dodoria, I am very confident in your arrangements."

Frieza gently patted Dodoria's shoulder, floated up, and stood hands behind his back at the window, his tail swinging leisurely behind him.

Frieza spoke coldly: "Have the first and second legions lead the assault, the third and fourth legions to follow. I want them to breach Planet Vegeta within half an hour, after which Planet Vegeta shall vanish from the cosmos."

"Yes!" Dodoria responded eagerly, his eyes alight with anticipation.

Following Dodoria's gesture, the alien beside him immediately shivered, bowing and hastening out of the control hall to relay Lord Frieza's orders. The first and second legions, the elite of Frieza's forces, were typically stationed on strategically crucial planets.

Particularly, the first legion, the cream of the crop, ranked just below the Ginyu Force and was the most formidable unit within Frieza's army. Some were even stronger than Dodoria himself.

Frieza had summoned these troops to Planet Vegeta specifically to ensure the total annihilation of the Saiyans.

...

By the time Xavier arrived on Planet Vegeta, the battle had already ignited. The once peaceful planet had lost its tranquility, and with the invasion of Frieza's massive army, every Saiyan was fighting fiercely with bloodshot eyes.

They fought bravely, unleashing their full power. Bright, dazzling energy waves streaked across the sky, leaving behind beautiful, mottled trails amidst the relentless explosions.

The ground shook with the thunderous roars of the explosions, especially when Saiyans with power levels over 10,000 joined the fray. The scene resembled the apocalypse—explosions lifted debris that obscured the sky, plunging Planet Vegeta into darkness.

The earth trembled, and the sky had lost its original color. Massive energy waves, like furious dragons, roared and howled through the atmosphere...

Accompanied by the thunderous sounds, visually striking mushroom clouds shot up, the blast waves momentarily clearing the surrounding gloom, only for new clouds to swiftly gather again.

Under the relentless collision of tremendous forces, the planetary plates could no longer withstand the immense pressure and cracked down the middle. Hot lava spurted from the ground, carrying a scorching, pungent smell and blooming into beautifully terrifying flowers.

Stepping forward, Xavier transformed into a blur. He arrived in the city center, witnessing buildings collapsing and Saiyans and aliens battling in every corner.

Whoosh!

Just then, an energy cannon blast emerged from higher ground, flying towards him. Xavier frowned slightly, lifting his palm just in time to catch the incoming energy blast. With a flick of his finger, he sent the football-sized energy orb rebounding away, tracing a brilliant path of light.

With a look of surprise, the aliens, seeing their attack had failed, launched a second wave.

"Seeking death!"

Watching these aliens attempt to kill him, a cold light flashed in Xavier's dark eyes. This time, he would not let them off easily. He turned and took a few steps forward, disappearing suddenly, then reappeared right in front of the attacking aliens.

"Such incredible speed."

The aliens were shocked to see Xavier suddenly appear among them. Quickly regaining their composure, they lifted their energy emitters, charged them, and fired in a swift and fluid motion. These aliens, part of Frieza's fourth legion, all had combat strengths over 2000 with their energy devices equipped.

"Quick on your feet, aren't you? But... like a candle's flame daring to challenge the sun and moon, perish!" Xavier's indifferent voice echoed through the air as he watched the aliens below. A cold smirk played across his handsome features.

He then lifted his palm and swiped through the air with a fierce motion.

Whirl!

As his fingers moved through the air, he suddenly unleashed countless ice-blue energy beams. These beams flickered with dazzling, brilliant lights, striking down like a torrential downpour of water columns.

"Ahh!!!" came the agonizing screams.

Followed by a thunderous boom, a bright white mushroom cloud slowly rose, and the violent shockwave rolled fiercely, instantly melting the rocks around it.

After dispatching several waves of aliens attempting to attack him, Xavier walked down the road as if he was alone in the world. Soon, he located the alien spacecraft and successively destroyed several ships. The remaining aliens then directed all their efforts against Xavier.

But those aliens, with only two to three thousand in combat power, were no match for him. Strolling leisurely, he waved his hand and suppressed all the attacking aliens.

The number of aliens killed by Xavier surged, quickly surpassing a thousand.

Swoosh!

Suddenly, a crystalline beam of light streaked past, revealing a figure.

He saw a small figure fleeing ahead, with a pale yellow alien chasing behind with an energy emitter.

"Merus?"

Surprised, Xavier called out as he spotted the little girl being pursued not far away.

"Waaah!" a cry tinged with sobs rang out.

Merus panicked and ran in all directions, but the alien was relentless, closing the distance with each step.

At that moment, Merus was terrified.

She had never experienced something so horrifying. After all, she was only about five years old, and the pressure became too much for her as she started crying while running.

Chapter 80: The Rebellion Begins

On the desolate planet.

After a long silence, Xavier received a message from Frieza.

Adriel and several others gathered, the atmosphere heavy with tension.

"Frieza is finally making his move," Adriel sighed.

"The inevitable has come, yet when it actually arrives, the heart is filled with resentment and anger!"

Paradis slammed his fist into the ground, creating a large crater with a loud "bang." His people faced slaughter, a fate typically reserved for weaker species.

"Indeed, evil deeds eventually meet their retribution."

"Uncle Adriel, talking now is useless. Let's wait here. I'll go to Planet Vegeta to see if I can save some people," Xavier proposed.

Despite having made a wish on the Dragon Balls, it was uncertain how many would reach Planet Red Mountain.

Xavier was determined to go to Planet Vegeta for two reasons: to save some Saiyans, and to personally gauge the extent of Frieza’s power!

Adriel knew Xavier’s power was unimaginably great, capable of annihilating the Ginyu Force with ease, so he had no concerns for his safety.

"That's a good idea, but don't confront Frieza directly. You must know what to sacrifice, for you are the most important among the Saiyans."

As long as Xavier was present, there was hope for the Saiyan race's revival.

"I want to go too!" Celine, who had been quietly observing, suddenly jumped up eagerly.

"No, you cannot go!"

Adriel and Xavier spoke in unison.

"But I've grown strong too." Celine was serious, wanting to join the ultimate battle on Planet Vegeta.

"Xavier has the ability to teleport instantly, which means he can escape at critical moments. You cannot, and even though you may match Captain Ginyu, I won't agree," Adriel chided, clearly displeased with his daughter's recklessness.

Celine pouted, her eyes swirling with determination. "Hmph, I will learn to teleport too!"

She had heard from Xavier about a secret technique of teleportation practiced on a distant planet called Yardrat, similar to Xavier's psychic powers. If she could master it, she would no longer be as constrained as she currently was.

"Let's talk about this later. I'm heading to Planet Vegeta now," Xavier said calmly and seriously.

"Be careful!"

With a nod, Xavier took a few steps forward, his figure blurring like a wisp of shadow, vanishing before everyone's eyes.

……

Chapter 80: The Rebellion Begins

Inside the royal palace of Planet Vegeta, a suffocating atmosphere pressed heavily upon all present.

King Vegeta, clad in armor, sat on his throne with a red cape draped behind him, eyes closed in meditation.

Below in the great hall, a dense crowd of Saiyans had gathered—those loyal to King Vegeta. At the forefront were about twenty elite warriors, each with a power level over 10,000, representing the pinnacle of strength on Planet Vegeta.

King Vegeta opened his eyes and surveyed the crowded hall with a cold, fierce glare, his kingly aura undeniable.

"Frieza's forces have completely surrounded Planet Vegeta, his ambitions laid bare—he aims to utterly annihilate the Saiyans! Tell me, can we accept this?"

His voice boomed through the palace hall, met with immediate response.

"Absolutely not!"

"How can Saiyans submit to Frieza? Even if it means death, we must defend our dignity."

"To battle with him, to battle!"

"Let that scoundrel Frieza see our true strength!"

The Saiyans below roared with righteous anger, ready to face Frieza in a fight to the death.

King Vegeta nodded in satisfaction and turned to Putar. "Putar, how many of us are there now?"

"Your Majesty, we have assembled four hundred thousand Saiyans, with many more on their way to the palace. Moreover, over seventy percent of our elite warriors are prepared to fight for the dignity of the Saiyans," Putar reported hastily.

The elite warriors represented nearly all of the Saiyan strength. King Vegeta had little expectation of the others.

He waved his hand, signaling Putar to step back.

After a moment of silence, King Vegeta stood up, his tall and imposing figure clad in gleaming red armor, commanding the attention of all.

Raising his arms, he spoke with fervor: "Saiyans, we are at a crossroads of life and death. By the authority of your king, I command all Saiyans to prepare for battle, ready to face Frieza's forces in a decisive confrontation."

"Elite warriors will form seven battalions, each led by a warrior whose power level exceeds 10,000, to spearhead our assault against Frieza's first and second legions. Middle-tier warriors will assist from the flanks, cover the rear, and take care of any that escape."

"And a command to all Saiyans:"

"Exterminate all the planet Tuffles people on Planet Vegeta!"

"I want none of them left!"

King Vegeta's voice was icy, unyielding.

The Tuffles, backed by Frieza, had long exploited and oppressed the Saiyans on Planet Vegeta. Now, the time had come for retribution.

The commands from the royal palace on Planet Vegeta were swiftly relayed, and all Saiyans sprang into action. However, many remained confused about the situation, filled with questions about King Vegeta's orders. Some even worshipped Frieza and were in disbelief, rushing toward the palace only to be met with the highly tense royal guards who executed them on the spot.

The entire planet was plunged into chaos. The aliens on the planet were also extremely anxious, afraid to venture onto the streets.

"Ha! The Saiyans are finally getting their comeuppance!" A group of Tuffle survivors gathered together, their faces filled with relief and joy. The Saiyans had destroyed their home planet and enslaved them; now, they reveled in seeing the demise of the sinister Saiyans.

"What goes around comes around, no one escapes the wheels of fate!"

"Such an evil race, the Saiyans, they are bound for hell."

Many species like the Tuffles, who usually suffered in silence, enduring beatings and insults, were now celebrating, decorating their homes and sharing the news joyfully, hoping for Frieza to swiftly eliminate all Saiyans.

In the Tuffle settlements, dome-shaped buildings with twelve pristine white columns were no longer calm. Ever since King Vegeta’s decree, these had become prime spots for the Saiyans to vent their anger.

Thunderous explosions resounded as majestic structures collapsed under the force of energy blasts, devastating everything in waves of destruction. The Tuffles, with their slender limbs, cried out in hoarse, disturbing tones:

"What are you Saiyans doing, ah... Lord Frieza won’t let you off!"

"What are we doing? We’re killing you, of course!"

The Saiyans responded with cold smirks, ignoring the Tuffles' threats. To them, the Tuffles were merely cannon fodder; even if Frieza planned to wipe out the Saiyans, he wouldn’t bother to evacuate these beings.

Old grievances and new came to a head, and the doomsday for the Tuffles had arrived. The Saiyans unleashed their pent-up fury and hatred for Frieza, and the Tuffles were devastated in an instant.

Chapter 79: Bardock's Arrangement

One month later.

Saiyans scattered across the universe gradually returned to Planet Vegeta. The spaceport was busier than usual, with spacecraft descending from the sky at all times.

Bardock’s massive spaceship approached Planet Vegeta. Under the cover of night, he observed a large formation of ships neatly aligned on the other side of the planet's orbit, seemingly engaged in some operation.

"Look, Mr. Bardock, those are Frieza's ships. What are they doing at Planet Vegeta?" Bos pointed out the ships arranged in a wedge formation ahead, his voice tinged with surprise.

Bardock paused, his expression darkening as he frowned. "Frieza has brought his main forces to Planet Vegeta. Could he truly be intending to start a war?"

As a warrior among the Saiyans, Bardock had always been critical of Frieza, especially after receiving ambiguous visions of the future. His disdain for Frieza was evident as he glared at the fleet.

"That can't be right, can it? We Saiyans have always been loyal to Frieza's missions..." Bos looked incredulous.

"Isn’t it obvious?" Bardock retorted sharply, "I've long suspected Frieza has other plans for the Saiyans, probably fearing the emergence of the legendary Super Saiyan!"

"The Super Saiyan? That's just a legend, even we don't believe it—why would Frieza worry about that?" Bos laughed, his optimism undimmed by the grim prospect.

"It’s hard to say..." Bardock mused, recalling the future vision where his son, Kakarot, transformed into the legendary Super Saiyan and defeated Frieza. A sense of satisfaction filled his heart.

"Let's head back to Planet Vegeta for now and talk about this later," Bardock suggested calmly after a final glance at Frieza’s fleet.

"Alright!" Bos responded cheerfully, piloting the spaceship towards Planet Vegeta.

After landing at the spaceport, Bardock bid farewell to his fellow Saiyans. As he watched his comrades disappear into the distance, he wondered if he should reveal his visions of the future. He tried to speak several times, but the words choked in his throat.

"Maybe it's better unsaid; they wouldn’t believe me anyway," he muttered with a wry smile. Was this the despair spoken of by the elder of Planet Kanassa? To face these pains alone?

No!

Bardock was not despairing. His gaze fixed on the horizon, confident in the future where Kakarot would defeat Frieza for him.

Back home, his wife Gine was cooking in the kitchen, the rich aroma filling the house and bringing a sense of warmth to Bardock.

"Eh, you’re back early?" Gine said, surprised as she emerged with a pot of stew seeing Bardock's early return.

He smiled, setting down his bag and taking the pot from his wife: "Orders from headquarters; all Saiyans have been recalled to Planet Vegeta."

"Has something happened?" Gine asked.

"No, nothing!" Bardock shook his head. "Just a foreboding feeling, as if something is about to happen."

"It's okay, with your strength, what could possibly challenge you?" Gine snuggled into Bardock's embrace, her petite frame sinking into his. She had complete faith in Bardock; although both were low-class warriors, her husband possessed a strength that surpassed many elite fighters.

"Mmm." Holding his wife quietly, Bardock felt a deep sense of peace.

"Is Kakarot still in the incubator?" she asked softly.

"Yes, he’s been there for months now. It’s time to take him out. Do you want to go see him?"

In the basement, a futuristic, egg-shaped incubator filled with a green solution bubbled as a small, tailed infant gurgled inside. This state-of-the-art biological incubator was more advanced than the mass infant chambers typically used, generally reserved for higher-class families. After a brief period in a standard nursery, Bardock had brought Kakarot home to this specialized device.

"He's grown so much!" Bardock exclaimed with a hint of amazement as he watched his son nibbling on his fingers through the green fluid.

"Yes, he looks just like you, especially that unique hairstyle," Gine joked, noting how their second son resembled his father to a tee.

Bardock nodded, watching his son intently for a long moment before closing his eyes and speaking decisively, "When it gets dark, I'll steal a spherical spaceship and exile him to another planet."

"What?" Gine was stunned, strongly objecting. "Why would you do that, and why should he risk his life as an 'Exiled Child'?"

With Bardock's current influence, they could easily protect their son from dangerous missions. Being labeled as an "Exiled Child" could lead to scorn.

"It's for Kakarot's good."

"What do you mean?"

Bardock looked up solemnly. "I have a premonition of death. Frieza is definitely plotting something."

Eventually, Gine was persuaded by Bardock. For their son's safety, she agreed to take the risk.

Deep into the night.

Bardock stealthily appropriated a spherical spacecraft, two meters in diameter, from an old royal warehouse. The couple then carried the spaceship across to a remote desert.

"You, worrying about our child? That’s not like you!" Gine teased as they flew.

"Must have caught your naiveté," Bardock quipped.

"There you go, speaking ill of me again!"

Gine puffed her cheeks in mock indignation, resembling a sulky young girl.

Soon, they reached a rugged desert area strewn with bizarre rocks, far from any Saiyan city—a perfect spot to launch the spacecraft unnoticed.

At that moment, cries of "wah wah wah" echoed from the spherical vessel, as if the infant knew he was about to be separated from his parents. Gine, her heart aching, peered through the clear glass at her son.

"Don't fuss, Kakarot..." Gine said, her voice tinged with reluctance, "Bardock, let's all escape together!"

"It's no use, the detectors will find us quickly. A high energy response would be easily picked up by the planet Tuffles' monitoring devices."

Bardock adjusted the position of the spherical spacecraft and explained, "This is an outdated machine from twenty years ago, it should lack a tracking device. I've set its destination to a remote planet called 'Earth'."

"Though the planet has plentiful water and food, its people and resources are not considered valuable, making it an inconspicuous low-level world."

Gine nodded, then spoke to the child in the spacecraft, "My child, if Bardock is being overly cautious, we'll bring you back soon. But if something really happens, I'll tell Raditz about this..."

"Goodbye, you must survive!"

"Watch out for the Galactic Patrol..."

"Kakarot, you must become a Super Saiyan and defeat Frieza!"

With that, Bardock pressed the spacecraft’s launch button. The craft vibrated violently and then shot into the sky, disappearing quickly into the vast expanse of space.

Chapter 78: The Final Month

Following orders from headquarters, Bardock and other Saiyans swiftly concluded their mission on Planet Kanassa and prepared to return to Planet Vegeta. Meanwhile, Saiyans across the universe, having received similar orders, were also making their way back.

In the large spacecraft.

Bardock sat gloomily in the cockpit, discussing the recent events on Planet Kanassa with his deputy commander, Bos.

"It’s really unusual for us all to be called back to Planet Vegeta so suddenly. What’s going on? It seems to be an order from Frieza's side!" Bos remarked, puzzled.

"Take down the detector first, be careful not to be overheard!"

"Oh, right!" Bos realized his oversight and quickly turned off the energy detector.

"No matter what Frieza is plotting, we'll head back to Planet Vegeta first!"

"Eh? What could he possibly be plotting? Maybe he's discovered some incredible planet that requires a lot of manpower for a major operation?" Bos laughed, lacking any real fondness for Frieza, yet never imagining that Frieza might harbor ambitions to annihilate the Saiyans.

"Right, I’ve heard that there’s been a lot of troop movements within the Frieza Force recently, as if they’re preparing for some mission. I bet it's just because they're short on hands and need us Saiyans to bolster their forces."

"Let's hope that's the case!" Bardock crossed his arms, though his heart was far from optimistic.

Recalling the visions he had seen on Planet Kanassa, his brow furrowed deeply. Coupled with the strange orders from Frieza, his unease only intensified.

Suddenly, a sharp pain coursed through his brain. Bardock clutched his forehead and leaned forward in his chair.

Phantom images projected onto his retinas like a movie reel.

A verdant green planet floated in space, its sky glowing with a soft green light, its ground covered with tender grass.

On the vast plains, a young man in an orange martial arts uniform stood proudly. Opposite him was a petite figure with alternating purple and white colors, a long tail, and striking crimson eyes that demanded attention.

"What is this place?"

Bardock found himself in an unknown land, watching two figures confront each other in total silence, as if completely unaware of his presence.

"Could this be another vision cursed by the Kanassan elder?" Bardock calmed himself, realizing he was viewing the scene as if watching a film, entirely from a third-person perspective.

His strong mental fortitude allowed him to quickly regain composure. Bardock stood silently, observing the scene. He then noticed something startling—the young man in the orange martial arts uniform looked exactly like him.

"That person... could it be Raditz? No, it must be Kakarot!"

Bardock's eyes sparkled with a flash of insight, a sense of blood connection flowing deep within his heart.

He turned his gaze toward the figure opposite him, a petite silhouette with soft armor-like white skin, adorned with purple soft material at the top of the head, shoulders, and arms, shimmering under the sunlight with a glossy brilliance.

The eyes, crimson and icy, were as merciless as a demon's.

Those chilling, crimson eyes reminded him of someone.

"Frieza!"

Bardock exclaimed.

He was certain, the one standing before him was indeed Frieza! Though his appearance differed from the Frieza he had seen before, those indifferent, mad eyes could belong to no other.

"Could this be a vision of Kakarot battling Frieza? Is this really a glimpse of the future?"

A sudden fear gripped Bardock's heart. If these were indeed scenes from the future, it meant that the visions cursed by the people of Planet Kanassa could be true, and Planet Vegeta might be doomed to destruction by Frieza's hand.

At that moment, the figure in the vision, who looked exactly like him, began to fight.

Their movements were as fast as the wind and as quick as lightning, their actions so swift that they surpassed the capture speed of the naked eye. Bardock tried to focus, but he could only catch brief afterimages as their level of combat far exceeded his own.

The vision fast-forwarded, and Bardock watched everything as if he were merely a spectator.

The sky had turned dark, and the space between heaven and earth was filled with glistening lightning.

Boom!

Waves surged violently, and the ground had cracked open.

The young man in the orange martial arts uniform was now bare-chested, and amid the thunder and lightning, he let out an angry roar. His black hair flickered and finally turned into a glowing golden hue, his eyes a deep, icy green, devoid of any emotion.

After transforming into a golden-haired, green-eyed youth, he struck furiously, overwhelmingly defeating his opponent.

"Could that be the legendary Super Saiyan?"

Bardock was stunned by the youth's transformation, his face filled with excitement as his blood boiled with fervor!

Although he could no longer comprehend such a level of existence, there was no doubt that the legendary Super Saiyan truly existed, and it was very likely that his son, Kakarot, had achieved it.

The vision then became blurry again.

Bardock, drenched in sweat, collapsed onto a chair, while his deputy commander, Bos, looked on with concern.

"Mr. Bardock, what's wrong with you, are you feeling unwell?"

"Oh... it's nothing, just a bit tired!"

He calmly replied, looking up at the ceiling, but his heart remained unsettled for a long time...

Was all this the true future? Or was it a deception by the people of Planet Kanassa, designed to confuse him and ultimately incite a rift between the Saiyans and Frieza?

……

On a distant planet, Prince Vegeta sat atop a pile of rubble, voraciously devouring a chunk of roast meat. Beside him, primitive beings, akin to dinosaurs, crawled on the ground.

"Prince Vegeta, is it really okay not to return? You are a prince, after all!" Raditz inquired, nursing an injury on his arm.

"Who cares, just pretend you don’t know," Vegeta responded coldly, focused on his meal, showing no intention of returning to Planet Vegeta. Raditz hesitated, wanting to speak but too intimidated to voice his thoughts.

At that moment, a bald youth approached and plopped down beside them, grabbing a piece of the roast to eat. "Why bother saying so much? Just follow Vegeta’s lead!"

"Okay... okay," Raditz replied weakly, not daring to contradict, aware of his lower status as a warrior, often scorned by the others.

...

On the space route to Planet Vegeta, rows of saucer-shaped spaceships sped through the cosmos. The largest in the center was Frieza’s flagship.

Aboard his personal hovercraft, Frieza floated to the observatory at the front of the ship, where stars zoomed past like fleeting meteors.

"Lord Frieza, if I may speak frankly, that so-called Super Saiyan is just a clichéd hero’s tale. It’s impossible they exist," a frog-faced alien remarked.

Frieza laughed. "Of course, I know. After observing them for years, these Saiyans have proven to be nothing more than useless wild monkeys. And here I was, expecting so much!"

"Still, I can't shake this unease! These overly proud fools will never contentedly serve as my slaves. It's time to eliminate them. When can the Saiyans return to Planet Vegeta?"

"Except for the ones in far-off locations, one month should be sufficient."

"Then let’s attack Planet Vegeta in a month. Prepare the Frieza Force; I can hardly wait!" Frieza ordered coldly, a sly smile playing on his lips.

"Yes, Lord Frieza!" The frog-faced alien barked in response before exiting the command center to relay Frieza’s orders.

"Dodoria, after we destroy Planet Vegeta, make sure to hunt down any remaining Saiyans. I don’t want to see a single one escape."

"Heh, consider it done." Dodoria, with his pink belly swaying, chuckled menacingly, the spikes on his head quivering.

In a month, they would witness Lord Frieza's grand display of power, a thought that kept Dodoria too excited to sleep, eagerly awaiting the swiftly approaching day.

Chapter 77: The Curse of Planet Kanassa

Planet Kanassa—a beautiful and mysterious world that few had ever truly known.

Now, this scenic planet was facing a cataclysm. A vast horde of Saiyans from distant stars had descended, embarking on a frenzied slaughter. The lush green planet was left shattered; mountains crumbled, and the ground was littered with rocks and peppered with craters from numerous blasts.

Boom!

A blast wave, laden with immense energy, struck a mountain. The ground shook violently, causing the mountain to disintegrate. Boulders hurtled through the air like cannonballs, smashing into the ground and kicking up clouds of dry dust.

Over a thousand Saiyans laughed maniacally, reveling in the chaos of battle. They flew from one peak to another, like bandits raiding a village, leaving nothing behind but the echoes of explosions and the lives they extinguished.

Amongst the trees and mountains, different animals ran and roared, only to be silenced in an instant by a devastating energy wave that reduced them to dust.

"Bardock, sir, all the lower life forms on Planet Kanassa have been eradicated. Only the native Kanassans remain," reported a skinny Saiyan with glasses, speaking into a communicator.

"Be cautious, everyone," Bardock instructed, nodding gravely. "I’ve heard that the Kanassans can wield some sort of mysterious magic, some of which might even pose a threat to high-level warriors."

On the star maps, Planet Kanassa was located north of Planet Vegeta, having remained peaceful for many years—a sign it was not to be underestimated.

"Yes, sir!" The Saiyan received the order and passed it along.

Bardock watched the apocalyptic scene unfolding around him, a sense of unease growing within him. Somehow, he felt as if something ominous was about to happen.

Three days later, the once-thriving city was now a ruin. Skyscrapers had collapsed, and rubble was strewn everywhere—the civilization had been destroyed in an instant.

The elder of the Kanassans looked over the remnants of his civilization and the countless tribespeople slaughtered, his heart filled with immense sorrow and rage. He glared furiously at the Saiyan invaders, his green pupils flashing with a blood-red light.

"You evil Saiyans will eventually face retribution!" the Kanassan elder roared, his eyes shimmering with fury.

Suddenly, the elder’s expression shifted to a sinister smile, followed by maniacal laughter. A mystical spell allowed him a glimpse into the future.

In that vision, he saw the grim fate of the Saiyans—they too would be destroyed by a force far greater than themselves, and soon.

"Ha-ha-ha, even you Saiyans cannot escape doom. Today you destroy Planet Kanassa, but soon, your homeworld will meet the same fate. Cough, cough... retribution! You Saiyans have committed countless evils, and you will all descend into hell," the elder danced jubilantly, his arms raised as if thanking the heavens.

"Damn it!"

Bardock's face darkened, storm clouds gathering across his brow. He extended a finger, from which a dazzling white beam shot forth, piercing through the chest of the Kanassan elder.

Daring to curse the Saiyans was an act deserving of more than death!

Thud! The elder of Planet Kanassa collapsed to the ground, a gush of blood spurting from his mouth, but his face remained twisted in a maniacal smile. His gaze was like a sharp blade, piercing deep into Bardock’s chest, intensifying the ominous premonition that had been haunting him.

"Even if you kill me now, the future has already been set. You Saiyans cannot escape your fate, cough, cough... We are merely going ahead of you, and I will watch from the underworld as you all descend into hell!"

Bardock’s face clouded over as he responded coolly, "Saiyans will not follow in your footsteps!"

"Cough, cough, it doesn't matter if you don’t believe it now, it’s inevitable!" The elder’s life force was fading, yet he continued to laugh wildly. "Hahaha, with my last bit of strength, I curse you with visions of the future. You will be in constant despair, it will linger in your mind, gradually destroying your will, and making you live in perpetual agony…"

The elder’s eyes bloodshot, his sockets flashing with a sinister red glow, giving him a ghastly and eerie appearance.

Suddenly, Bardock felt a wave of dizziness overwhelm his mind. A series of ethereal and elusive images bombarded his brain, challenging his grasp on what was real and what was illusion.

"Ah!" Bardock cried out in pain and collapsed, unconscious.

After some time, Bardock slowly regained consciousness. He quickly checked himself and found no obvious abnormalities, but his head still felt heavy, and he felt slightly nauseous.

"These damnable people of Planet Kanassa!" Bardock cursed. He had been ambushed by the Kanassan, luckily without any serious consequences.

Glancing at the corpse of the Kanassan elder lying nearby, Bardock’s expression was icy as he unleashed a wave of ki energy from his hand, reducing the body to ashes.

"Bardock sir, it’s good to see you’re alright. We’ve just received a message from headquarters— all Saiyans are to return immediately to Planet Vegeta!"

The communicator at his ear buzzed with the voice of the mission's deputy commander.

"Bos, what's going on?" Bardock furrowed his brow, puzzled by the sudden order from headquarters. What had happened?

Suddenly, another wave of dizziness struck him. Bardock clutched his face and knelt on the ground, feeling as if countless worms were gnawing at his brain.

His vision began to blur...

In the tranquil expanse of space, the dark red Planet Vegeta hung aloft. Not far from it, a multitude of disc-shaped spacecraft were meticulously arranged, from which countless armored cosmic warriors wielding energy cannons swarmed out like locusts, darkening the sky.

The space around Planet Vegeta soon lit up with flashes of light and fire.

The scene shifted.

A figure in a small, egg-shaped spacecraft laughed maniacally, extending a finger. Suddenly, another sun rose in the starry sky—a massive fireball hundreds of meters in diameter with a fierce expression, howling as it hurtled towards Planet Vegeta.

The fireball descended from space.

Its orange-red surface heated the atmosphere to a searing frenzy!

With a thunderous roar that shook the cosmos, the vast Planet Vegeta was engulfed in a cataclysmic explosion, disintegrating into cosmic dust…

"Bardock sir, Bardock sir!" The voice from the communicator kept coming.

"Bos, I'm fine, continue with what was happening…" Bardock, grinding his teeth and trembling all over, his clothes soaked with sweat, managed to respond.

"Yes, sir!" On the other end of the communicator, the mission's deputy commander Bos recounted the situation in detail.

After disconnecting, Bardock’s expression turned cold and grim, his teeth clenched in anger: "What the hell does Frieza want?"

Remembering the bizarre visions that had flashed through his mind, Bardock furrowed his brows.

"With my last bit of strength, I curse you with visions of the future. You will be in constant despair, it will linger in your mind, gradually destroying your will, and making you live in perpetual agony…"

The words of the Planet Kanassa elder echoed in his ears.

"Could it be that what I saw was truly a vision of the future? Is Frieza planning to destroy Planet Vegeta?" Bardock muttered to himself, his hands clenched into fists. Planet Vegeta must not be destroyed!

Chapter 76: Bardock and Gine

Xavier settled down, feeling a torrent of vast and boundless energy surging through his body, but with just a slight intention, all this energy calmed obediently. He had achieved a level of control over this energy that was completely at his whim, demonstrating a higher mastery in its manipulation.

"Though I haven't been training deliberately, my strength continues to climb steadily—benefits reaped from mental training!" Clenching his fists, a faint smile hung on Xavier’s face.

"Xavier, my power level is almost hitting 120,000!" After a brief rest, Celine, her face as white as snow, looked up, her cheeks slightly flushed with excitement. Over this period, she had made rapid strides, pushing her power level to 118,000, nearly catching up to Xavier from a year ago, a testament to her swift growth, although the gap between her and Xavier had not closed.

"My power level just reached 145,000!" Xavier chuckled lightly. Celine, hearing this, felt a bit deflated. "Ugh, I’ve been trying so hard, why can't I catch up to you!"

Placing his hand on her head, feeling the softness of her hair, Xavier said, "Don’t always think about these things; it’s exhausting and pointless. Remember, haste makes waste. Sometimes, worrying too much can create obstacles. Better to think about something else."

"Like what?"

"Like... gourmet food…"

"Xavier!" Celine whimpered, swatting away his hand from her head, patting her smooth belly, "I'm not happy now, I want a feast!"

Xavier watched her with a bemused smile; this girl always turned her sorrow into an appetite! Thankfully, as a Saiyan, she had a robust stomach. If she were a human, such eating would have surely ruined her figure.

"Alright, alright!" Complying, Xavier opened a dimensional space and pulled out a massive array of food, then watched with interest as the girl devoured the feast. Although her manners were less than graceful, watching Celine enjoy her meal was somehow quite entertaining.

...

Near the spaceport on Planet Vegeta, at a gathering site. The vast, empty plains showed no signs of life. Behind the mountain ridges on the east-west trajectory of the plains, several simple sunshades were constructed behind the protruding rock formations.

It was now midday, the scorching sun overhead, the rising heat making the air shimmer slightly. The sunshades behind the foothills had now gathered several hundred Saiyans, some in groups chatting, others lying down alone, quietly waiting for more to arrive. Soon, the area swelled to about a thousand Saiyans.

Among these Saiyans were low-ranking warriors and high-ranking warriors alike, all visibly excited, eager to participate in Planet Vegeta’s annual large-scale military campaign. Soon, these thousand Saiyans would form a squadron, and then set off together to revel in the thrill of battle!

This type of large-scale campaign was classified as a special mission by the Mission Management Bureau, necessitating the mobilization of high-ranking warriors with power levels close to 10,000.

This mission aimed to conquer the mysterious Planet Kanassa.

"Bardock, make sure to stay safe when we get to Planet Kanassa, don’t be too reckless!" A petite yet stunning female Saiyan adjusted her husband’s hair and re-tied his headband.

Bardock laughed heartily, his broad hand patting the shoulder of the female Saiyan, a gentle smile spreading across his scarred face.

"Gine, don't you know my strength yet? A small planet like Kanassa won't be a challenge for me. Just relax!" Bardock reassured his wife with confidence in his voice.

"But still, be careful!" Gine retorted, giving her husband a stern look.

These two were none other than Goku’s biological parents, Bardock and his wife, Gine.

It had been twelve years since Xavier first met Bardock. Now, Bardock had matured into a seasoned and muscular warrior, married to Gine, who worked in logistics.

Gine was petite, much like Alice, and among these rough Saiyan warriors, she seemed almost childlike. Yet, this slight-framed Saiyan woman had already borne two children.

Bardock was about to depart on a mission to subjugate Planet Kanassa, while Gine, in charge of logistics meat processing, would remain on Planet Vegeta.

"By the way, how is Raditz doing now?" Bardock asked, adjusting his gear.

At the mention of their eldest son, a joyful smile spread across Gine's face. "Raditz is on a mission with Prince Vegeta. They should have already reached their destination!"

Bardock nodded. His son Raditz, like him, was only a low-class warrior, yet, surprisingly, he had been assigned to join Prince Vegeta on this mission. It was unclear how the Mission Management had arranged such a pairing.

Perhaps it was just to burden the prince with an extra load, Bardock thought with a hint of self-deprecation.

However, Bardock felt no shame in being a low-class warrior; he knew that even those born low could match high-class warriors through battle and training. He himself was a prime example, having far surpassed the average high-class warrior. As the commander of this mission, Bardock’s power level was nearing 10,000, making him one of the few low-class warriors to achieve such a feat.

...

Two months' travel from Planet Vegeta, at Frieza's headquarters.

Within the opulent palace, Frieza hovered beside a window in a small, egg-shaped flyer, his long tail dangling and swaying in mid-air.

"Lord Frieza, here are all the data on Saiyan spaceships launched in recent years!" a Planet Tuffles inhabitant reported, waving his arms towards Frieza.

Frieza's flyer pivoted, his crimson eyes gleaming malevolently, his purple lips slightly parted as he coldly addressed Dodoria standing by his side:

"Mr. Dodoria, issue the order. Have the Frieza Force track down and eliminate all Saiyan children sent out on missions according to the list. Remember, I want none left! Ah, and keep this matter secret; we can’t let the Saiyans on Planet Vegeta find out."

"Yes, my lord!" Dodoria responded, his expression stern, then hesitantly added, "I heard that the King of Vegeta’s son is also on a mission. Should we also..."

Frieza waved his hand dismissively, "Leave Vegeta be; he’s a fine toy to keep around for a while longer. By the way, Mr. Dodoria, would you care to join me for a fireworks show?"

Dodoria immediately brightened, excitedly responding, "Lord Frieza, are you planning to destroy Planet Vegeta?"

The prospect of witnessing another splendid and majestic spectacle thrilled Dodoria. Ever since he had last seen a planet obliterated, he had been unable to forget the grandeur of such destruction and longed to see it again.

"Yes, it's a mission assigned by Lord Beerus himself. I had intended to spare the Saiyans for a while longer, but it seems that's no longer possible," Frieza spoke somberly.

Frieza's father had once warned him that in the universe, there were two beings that even their tyrannical Frieza clan dared not provoke. One was the ancient Majin Buu, and the other was the legendary God of Destruction, Beerus. Frieza had been skeptical, but when Beerus himself appeared before him, Frieza realized that the God of Destruction was truly not to be trifled with.

Initially, Frieza had intended to let the Saiyans exist a bit longer, but since the order came directly from Lord Beerus, he could not defy it.

"Lord Beerus?" Dodoria paused, certain he had not heard this name before. But since even Lord Frieza referred to him with such respect, he must indeed be an exceedingly formidable figure. "Heh, these Saiyans really know how to cause trouble, attracting the wrath of such powerful beings!"

"Ah, if only Zarbon were still here, he too could have enjoyed the beautiful fireworks," Frieza sighed regretfully, lamenting the absence of someone to share the beautiful sight with. The loss of Zarbon was still a sore point; his longtime companion had met an unexplained end on Planet Phydia, and to this day, the perpetrator remained unknown.

Years ago, when the Ginyu Force arrived at Planet Phydia, they found it abandoned, leaving behind nothing but a lava-strewn and scorching planet.

Chapter 75: Consciousness Training

On the desolate planet, a month had passed uneventfully, and Planet Vegeta remained unscathed. Adriel and the others could finally relax a bit, though as a precaution, Xavier decided not to return to Planet Vegeta or visit Planet Red Mountain but to stay in the gravity training room for routine workouts.

This incident had made it clear to Adriel and his comrades that their power was far less than that of the true elites of the universe. Consequently, they devoted themselves entirely to training, recognizing the importance of improving their capabilities.

As seasoned Saiyan warriors familiar with the concept of "Ki", they understood that training should be a balanced mix of intensity and relaxation, progressing step by step. Pushing oneself too hard could sometimes backfire.

Appropriate rest was necessary. They weren't like Shakda and the other youths in their prime growth years, whose cells were bursting with vitality, enjoying the golden age of strength development. Even then, it was crucial to gauge their efforts and not overstrain.

Inside Gravity Chamber Three, members of Adriel's squad were gathered on the floor, eating and chatting, with several dishes laid out beside them.

"I'll tell you, Adriel, ever since we got access to the gravity chamber, your power level has skyrocketed!" Paradis, a rugged middle-aged man, commented as he sat cross-legged, heartily enjoying his meal.

The team captain was already the strongest among them, and his strength had surged even more after training in the gravity chamber. Paradis couldn't help but feel envious of Adriel's rapid progress.

"Hahaha, that's because I work harder than you all. If you trained as hard as I do, your strength would increase just as quickly."

Adriel laughed heartily, popping a bean into his mouth, feeling quite pleased with himself. His power level had reached 15,200, making him one of the strongest on Planet Vegeta—a thought that would have been unimaginable in the past. Now, not only had it become a reality, but he was also confident that he would become even stronger.

However, he had recently noticed that his rate of improvement was slowing, which sobered him up from his initial excitement.

"Come on, that's because you have Xavier to guide you. If I had the chance to spar with Xavier all day like you, I’d have surpassed you long ago!"

Paradis skeptically pursed his lips, envy hidden behind his dismissive expression as he thought about how fortunate Adriel was to have Xavier as a mentor. The captain's power level had surpassed theirs by thousands.

So far, aside from Adriel and Rebecca, the rest of Adriel's team had their power levels hovering around 12,000. The strongest among them, Belruk, was close to reaching 13,000, but there was still a significant gap between him and the captain—a gap that continued to widen.

Even though the recent growth in Adriel’s power had slowed, it was still enviably faster compared to the rest of them.

Adriel laughed heartily, acknowledging that his rapid improvement was partly due to the gravity chamber, but also significantly helped by sparring with Xavier.

After the laughter, Adriel's expression turned serious as he addressed the team, "As of now, there are nearly three thousand Saiyans on Planet Red Mountain. Xavier told me that when Planet Vegeta is destroyed, another fifteen thousand will be relocated there."

"Discounting some who may perish during the destruction of Planet Vegeta, conservatively, the Saiyan population on Planet Red Mountain could reach over twelve thousand!"

"Twelve thousand, that's not too few."

"Yeah, it’s indeed not a small number..."

Everyone murmured in awe before falling into silence. Over ten thousand surviving Saiyans was significant, yet it paled in comparison to the peak population of millions. Soon, Saiyans would truly become a rare race.

There was a persistent belief among them—they could not let the Saiyan race decline into obscurity.

"By the way, I think King Vegeta might have noticed our actions," Adriel suddenly changed the topic.

"Really? If King Vegeta knew we were secretly relocating people, wouldn’t there be some reaction from him?" Paradis expressed his surprise with a puzzled look.

Belruk smirked coldly. "King Vegeta is playing dumb on purpose!"

"What's the advantage for him?" one of the teammates asked.

"One possibility is that he's also preparing something crucial and can't afford any mishaps right now. An internal conflict at this stage would not benefit him," Adriel explained.

With all six members of Adriel's team boasting power levels above 10,000, causing a civil war over a mere three thousand lower-class warriors would significantly weaken the Saiyan race—a scenario King Vegeta would want to avoid.

"Is he planning to settle scores later?" Alice asked, furrowing her brows. Among everyone, she was the youngest and usually the most lively.

"Perhaps that's his plan, but that's only if he defeats Frieza. If he fails, all these considerations become moot. I think King Vegeta might also want to ensure a fallback for the Saiyan race," Adriel speculated.

His words made everyone fall silent. They were adults, considering issues more comprehensively.

King Vegeta's decision to let them recruit without interference might reflect a strategic move. The saying about not putting all eggs in one basket was universally understood, and it was unlikely that King Vegeta was unaware of this. Perhaps he was preparing for the worst.

Could King Vegeta consider abandoning the confrontation with Frieza?

They dismissed the thought quickly, knowing the pride of the Saiyans would never allow them to crumble as Frieza’s subordinates. Whether it was a foolhardy courage or not, King Vegeta could never endure seeing his people kneeling subserviently before Frieza.

Moreover, a significant reason for their speculation was King Vegeta's possible underestimation of Frieza's terror. If he truly understood the threat Frieza posed, perhaps he would have been less inclined to confront him directly.

Like how he had to bow before the Destroyer, acknowledging a power far superior to his own didn’t necessarily mean losing dignity—it could even bring some comfort, at least internally.

"But it's too late to discuss this now. Even if King Vegeta doesn’t rebel, Frieza won’t spare the Saiyans," Liz’s hoarse voice interjected.

Events were unfolding beyond their control, and all they could do now was lead the Saiyans on Planet Red Mountain well.

After a moment of silence, the group resumed their lighter conversation and laughter.

Meanwhile, the younger generation like Shakda, in their prime for power growth, were pushing their limits in the gravity training chambers. With their extensive experience, Adriel and his team occasionally provided guidance.

……

Inside Gravity Chamber One, the room was unusually quiet with the gravity device and other training equipment turned off.

In the center of the chamber, Xavier and Celine sat cross-legged facing each other, as still as ancient monks in deep meditation. On closer inspection, both of them had furrowed brows and their bodies were trembling slightly, beads of sweat forming on their foreheads.

They were engaged in consciousness training.

In the ethereal space of their minds, dimensions didn't correspond to physical reality. Here, they engaged in a fierce battle that defied the normal constraints of space and time. Their forms intertwined, clashing from the ground to the sky and back again, filling the area with the sounds of their intense combat—echoes, booms, and explosions were relentless.

Suddenly, countless illusory figures of Celine materialized. These figures, each mirroring her appearance, moved swiftly, quickly filling the space. With a flash in her eyes and a subtle lift of her hand, these apparitions launched a fierce assault on Xavier.

Crack! Xavier blocked Celine’s punch precisely, then his form blurred, moving like an arrow, weaving through attacks. Each of his strikes, seemingly effortless, packed a suffocating, explosive force.

One by one, the illusions shattered.

Boom! The mental space shattered abruptly, sending Xavier and Celine into physical tremors before they gasped for air. After a moment to recover, their breathing steadied.

Consciousness training is a profoundly advanced method of cultivation, evolved from the practice of harnessing "Ki". Unlike the physical and energetic conditioning involved in Ki training, consciousness training focuses intensely on refining the spirit and awareness, enhancing instinctual combat skills.

In the original Dragon Ball series, Gohan and Krillin practiced this form of training during their journey to Planet Namek.

Consciousness training transcends simple energy cultivation. It somewhat resembles the Daoist concepts of pre-modern Earth in Xavier's past life, where a degree of spiritual enlightenment is achieved. This approach offers distinct advantages in developing unique abilities and transcending physical limitations.

Through their sessions of consciousness training, Xavier and Celine had significantly honed their combat experience. This period of intensive training allowed them to master greater control over their energies, reflecting noticeable

Chapter 74: I Don't Want to See Planet Vegeta

In a training room within the royal palace of Planet Vegeta, a dimly lit space surrounds a young figure at the center. Around him, a few cultivated warriors hesitate to attack.

These warriors, crafted using the most advanced technologies, each boast combat abilities around a thousand. Yet, the central figure, a Saiyan child under the age of five, instills a primal fear in them.

The young Saiyan snorts disdainfully and adjusts his stance, readying himself to strike.

In an instant, he accelerates, his afterimages filling the room, followed by a burst of dazzling light. A brilliant energy fills the room, and with a thunderous roar followed by a smoky haze, the aftermath is revealed.

As the smoke clears, only the proud young Saiyan stands tall.

"Pathetic!" He glances disdainfully at the charred bodies of the cultivated warriors sprawled in the debris, his voice cold and indifferent, before donning his cape and exiting the room.

After he leaves, a Saiyan tasked with clean-up looks over the cratered floor, remarking, "Prince Vegeta is truly formidable. To defeat cultivated warriors at such a young age, he will surely be an outstanding king."

"Yes, under King Vegeta and Prince Vegeta, our Saiyan race will grow ever stronger!" Another middle-aged Saiyan gazes in the direction Vegeta disappeared, his voice filled with admiration.

In Planet Vegeta, the divide between the strong and the weak is clear. Ordinary Saiyans like them could only aspire to serve, while the race's future depended on prodigies like Prince Vegeta.

...

Walking along the palace corridor, Vegeta’s face is stern. Despite his power level surpassing 1000, he remains unsatisfied.

As he moves, several guards hurriedly pass by, carrying trays of food. Curiosity strikes him, and he stops one of the guards.

"Why are you in such a rush, and who is this food for?" Vegeta asks.

Sweating profusely, the guard responds, "A strange visitor has just arrived at the palace, and the king has ordered us to bring this food to him. Please let me pass, Prince Vegeta, the guest is growing impatient!"

Releasing the guard, Vegeta watches him disappear into the distance, his mind filled with questions: "Who is this guest that my father would arrange such an elaborate meal for?"

With that thought, Vegeta heads towards the inner sanctum of the palace.

Approaching the grand hall, he hears a voice, unfamiliar and harsh, emanating from inside.

"Idiot, you dare present this garbage as an offering to a god? King Vegeta, you cannot afford the consequences of trying to deceive a Destroyer!"

The voice, authoritative and cold, belongs to Beerus.

"Lord Beerus, I wouldn't dare deceive you. This is truly the finest food Planet Vegeta has to offer!" King Vegeta's voice trembles with fear, his body fully prostrate on the ground, his face contorted with distress.

King Vegeta, a man of immense pride, much like his son will be, can only bow his head in Beerus’s presence, supplicating humbly. For he knows, should Beerus grow angry, Planet Vegeta could be wiped from existence.

With a scoff, Beerus places his foot atop King Vegeta's head, casually digging at his ear before blowing the debris away, his expression clearly impatient. Truth be told, the food prepared by King Vegeta had been a major disappointment, nowhere near the delights he had tasted previously.

"Is this what you call delicious?" Beerus, his golden pupils glaring, smashes the food onto King Vegeta's head, who can only suffer in humiliation.

"What’s going on? Who is this person, and why is my father enduring such humiliation?" Hiding behind a pillar, Vegeta watches in disbelief as his father, the Saiyan king, is forced to grovel so pitifully.

Clenching his fists, Vegeta feels a surge of indignation.

"Hmm?" Beerus senses another presence behind the pillar. His piercing gaze cuts through the stone, striking Vegeta with an overwhelming force. Vegeta collapses to the ground as if struck by lightning, his body rigid and unable to move.

With a mere gesture, Beerus lifts Vegeta by the head.

"Lord Beerus, please spare my child!" King Vegeta, terror apparent on his face, pleads desperately, "I will have better food prepared immediately!"

"No need." Beerus's face darkens with a stormy expression and he casually tosses Vegeta aside. With a loud crash, Vegeta is embedded into the wall, his bones shattering upon impact.

Flicking his fingers dismissively, Beerus mutters, "Such a bore. I thought I might find some tasty morsels here, but this Planet Vegeta is utterly worthless."

With that, Beerus's figure vanishes from the palace.

After ensuring Beerus has truly departed, King Vegeta wipes the cold sweat from his brow. He had never anticipated that the legendary Destroyer, Beerus, would appear before him. Had it not been for the legends of the Destroyer preserved within the Saiyan royal family, the consequences could have been unimaginable.

The real Destroyer was even more terrifying than the legends suggested!

Reflecting on the unfathomable power that seemed as vast as the ocean, King Vegeta shudders in hindsight, only now noticing his clothes soaked with cold sweat.

Hurrying to Vegeta's side, King Vegeta carefully examines him and breathes a sigh of relief upon finding that only a few bones are broken. He quickly summons guards to transport Vegeta to a regeneration tank for healing.

Vegeta is his most valued son and the finest warrior among the Saiyans—he cannot afford any mishap.

Alone in the grand hall, King Vegeta's expression shifts as he contemplates deeply, his thoughts unknown.

……

In the vastness of space, Lord Beerus drifted aimlessly, his boredom palpable.

Suddenly, a vibrant rainbow streak zipped through the cosmos, halting abruptly in front of Beerus.

"Lord Beerus, you've sneaked out again!" A delicate voice chimed, as a figure in a red and black divine robe, silver hair gleaming, approached, leaning on a staff. A blue collar floated mysteriously around his neck.

"Oh, Whis, you're here!" Beerus lay back in space, hands behind his head, letting himself drift.

"Ah, Beerus, this time you've destroyed one hundred and thirty-four planets. The Supreme Kais are going to have a hard time with this," Whis said, hand to his forehead, though his expression betrayed no actual concern.

"Whatever," Beerus scoffed dismissively, "Just a few planets destroyed. They can create some more."

"Planets, especially those with life, take time to nurture. If the Supreme Kais can't keep up with your pace of destruction, there could be serious issues."

Beerus, unimpressed, changed the subject: "Hey, Whis, while you were away, I had some exceptionally rare delicacies. Thinking about them now still leaves me wanting more!"

"Really? Lord Beerus, did you save any for me?" Whis perked up at the mention of food.

"That little amount of food? How could I possibly save any for you!"

"That's heartbreaking. Was it on that planet?" Whis pointed his staff at the distant reddish planet of Vegeta.

"Yes, that's the place, but those delicacies are gone now!" Beerus still felt a spark of anger when mentioning Planet Vegeta. He half-wanted to smash the planet with an energy sphere!

However, Beerus had promised Xavier to spare Planet Vegeta; breaking his word would diminish his reputation as a Destroyer.

"By the way, Whis, who rules this area?" Beerus turned to ask.

Whis checked his staff, and a blue crystal ball revealed an image of Frieza, "Lord Beerus, the ruler of this sector is someone named Frieza, a member of the Frost Demon race."

Beerus stroked his chin, mulling it over, then said, "Send a message to Frieza, tell him I don't want to see Planet Vegeta anymore. Have him destroy it."

"Yes, Lord Beerus!" Whis acknowledged.

Destroying a planet was as mundane to them as drinking water, merely routine.

And having someone else obliterate Planet Vegeta wouldn't be considered a direct act on their part, preserving the dignity of the Destroyer while keeping a divine promise.

Chapter 73: Ah, No More Watching

"Lord of Destruction... Beerus?" Adriel stood rooted to the spot, frowning in contemplation. Despite his vast experience, he had never heard of this title.

Shaking his head, he turned his gaze to Belruk and the others, who were also shaking their heads in confusion. At this point, it was clear that the younger generation like Shakda and Atasya were out of their depth as well.

Xavier, seeing their lack of recognition for the Destroyer’s esteemed title, knew they couldn't grasp his concerns. Beerus had been in deep slumber for many years, and very few in the universe knew of his name.

He sighed lightly and explained, "Lord Beerus is an ancient deity, considered one of the strongest in the universe! Frieza's power compared to the Destroyer is like the light of a firefly vying with the brilliance of the full moon—there is no comparison! Even if Frieza were a thousand, a million times stronger, Lord Beerus would only need to lift a finger to end him!"

"That powerful?" Celine gasped in astonishment.

"Yes, a mere sneeze from him could obliterate Planet Vegeta!" Xavier remarked wistfully.

Even if Frieza’s power were to increase a thousandfold, it would merely bring him to the level of Majin Buu, and yet Beerus could effortlessly eliminate him with a flick of his finger.

A sneeze to destroy Planet Vegeta?

Frieza, a thousand times stronger, yet only needing a finger's twitch?

Hearing Xavier's description, Adriel and the others couldn't help but inhale sharply, their faces filled with shock.

Frieza’s power had seemed unrivaled to them, and now a Destroyer emerges who could easily kill him, even at a power a thousand times greater!

Heaven help us, are we falling behind, or is the world changing too swiftly? In the past, a few thousand in power level could dominate, but now we seem as feeble as ants!

"But... shouldn't a deity like the Destroyer not be concerned with destroying something like Planet Vegeta?" Atasya asked, voicing everyone's confusion.

Xavier shook his head, "Although Lord Beerus is a deity, he governs destruction and annihilation! It's his duty to destroy, and if something displeases him, he can obliterate an entire planet without a second thought."

Such is the capricious nature of a god of destruction!

After hearing Xavier’s explanation, everyone fell silent. According to him, staying on Planet Vegeta was indeed fraught with peril. If the Destroyer were to become displeased, everyone would perish!

They also realized that their own power was trivial in the eyes of true masters.

What pride was there left to hold?

Look at those who casually destroy planets and star systems, setting off cosmic fireworks, while we squabble over trivialities on a tiny planet. Such a comparison shows how small our concerns are!

We are still far behind!

Realistically, Adriel and his group, with their combat strength of over ten thousand, could live quite comfortably in the universe—creatures like Frieza are rare, and gods like Beerus are beyond the usual measure.

Even the younger ones like Shakda could have a good life if they were careful.

Didn't you see Raditz, with his mere power level of over a thousand, swaggering about when he first appeared? He must have encountered other life forms in the universe. His arrogance alone shows that the overall strength of other cosmic beings is quite low.

"You all should stay on this barren planet for now. If Planet Vegeta isn't destroyed in a few days, you can go back. By then, Lord Beerus should have left."

"Ah, there's nothing else to be done!" Adriel nodded reluctantly, conceding to the situation, for now, they had no other choice.

...

On Planet Vegeta.

Beerus strolled leisurely down the main street, his favorite activities, besides causing destruction, being sleeping and seeking out delicious food.

Awakening from his long slumber, Beerus had sneaked away from Whis and wreaked havoc across the galaxy. Any planet that displeased him was obliterated as he set off fireworks along the way, eventually arriving on Planet Vegeta.

On Planet Vegeta, Beerus finally found some decent food, which perhaps spared the planet from immediate destruction.

Just now, he encountered a Saiyan who intrigued him and provided some delicious food. Beerus swore it had been ages—maybe a hundred million or even three hundred million years—since he had tasted such delightful flavors.

"Ah, such a marvelous taste!" Licking his lips, the taste of the food still lingering, Beerus felt slightly unfulfilled.

Considering the Saiyan's offerings, Beerus mused, "If this young Saiyan had such tasty morsels, surely the ruler of this planet must have even better delicacies!" With this thought, Beerus's somewhat listless spirits were reinvigorated.

"First, I’ll find the royal palace of this planet. There should be more delicacies there!"

With that, Beerus floated up and flew towards the direction of the palace, his golden eyes shimmering with a keen light.

...

In another dimension.

At the end of the long Snake Way, there was a vast expanse of space filled with a holy and peaceful aura, with pale yellow clouds dotting the cerulean sky.

Here lay a tiny planet, home to King Kai, who oversees the entire North Galaxy.

On King Kai's planet.

King Kai lay on the grass, nervously twitching like an ant on a hot pan, his lips trembling palely.

"Oh no, Lord Beerus has appeared on Planet Vegeta! If those Saiyans anger him, my North Galaxy is doomed again!" King Kai cried out, his emotions running high.

He remembered how vast his planet used to be until someone angered Lord Beerus, prompting the Destroyer to shatter it to its current size.

He desperately prayed, hands clasped together, hoping no one would provoke Beerus this time.

He couldn't bear the thought of losing his little remaining planet. If it were destroyed, where would he live? His reputation as King Kai would be utterly ruined, and he'd lose face in front of the other Kais.

King Kai continued to lay low, carefully monitoring the situation on Planet Vegeta.

Suddenly, a chilling glare seemed to pierce through space from Planet Vegeta, locking eyes with him and seemingly penetrating his soul...

King Kai screamed, jumping up with a terrified expression.

"This is bad, very bad, Lord Beerus has noticed me! I hope he's merciful and doesn't come here!" King Kai turned pale and trembled all over.

Panic-stricken, King Kai rushed into a small, low house on his planet. "Until Lord Beerus leaves the North Galaxy, I swear I'll stop watching the mortal realm!"

Chapter 72: Immediate Evacuation

Of course, at this moment, Xavier was gradually recalling some details he had forgotten.

The original narrative mentioned that not long before the destruction of Planet Vegeta, the God of Destruction, Beerus, indeed visited and even coerced King Vegeta to bow his proud head—an event that young Vegeta witnessed, casting a deep shadow over his childhood.

Unexpectedly, today’s events turned almost disastrous when Merus inadvertently enraged Beerus, nearly causing the premature destruction of Planet Vegeta. After pondering the situation, Xavier’s eyes narrowed slightly: "No, as long as the God of Destruction remains on Planet Vegeta, it’s not safe here. I better take Celine and the others and leave sooner rather than later."

Originally, to avoid drawing attention, Xavier and his companions planned to depart the evening before the planet’s destruction. Now, however, considering their lives and fortunes were at stake, subtlety was no longer a priority.

"Merus!" Xavier called out the name, then dug out a string of candies from his pocket and placed them in Merus’s hands, saying, "Keep these candies safe—as an apology from me. You better head back now!"

Without waiting for Merus to react, Xavier hurriedly walked out of the alley and into the crowd, quickly disappearing from sight. Merus stood dazed in the alley, watching until Xavier was no longer visible among the throng.

"Ah! That guy... ugh..." Merus rubbed his sore bottom, the stinging sensation still lingering. Biting his thumb, he felt increasingly aggrieved and angrily stamped his foot.

Then, glancing at the string of candies in his hand, Merus licked them tentatively—a sweet taste. His eyes suddenly brightened, and he licked them more earnestly, "Mmm, so tasty!" The delightful flavor soothed his palate, and his mood improved significantly.

Nevertheless, regarding Xavier, the annoying figure, Merus made a mental note. With her vindictive nature, she was determined to settle this score one day.

……

Back at their residential home.

Xavier rushed back from outside and, upon seeing Adriel and Rebecca at home, urgently asked, "Uncle Adriel, is Celine at home?"

"That girl is resting in her room. What happened?" Adriel, surprised by Xavier's urgency, raised an eyebrow.

"No time to explain now, Uncle Adriel. You need to alert Uncle Belruk immediately—we have to leave Planet Vegeta right away!"

"Alright, I’ll contact them right now!" Realizing the gravity of the situation, Adriel’s expression turned serious. Xavier wasn't one to panic, not even when facing Frieza, so this must be dire.

Nodding to Adriel, Xavier headed straight for Celine's room, pushing the door open without knocking. Inside, Celine was lazily lying in bed under a thin sheet. Without a word, Xavier scooped her up, blanket and all.

"Hey! What are you doing?" Celine woke with a start.

"Stop fussing, we'll talk once we've left this place!" Xavier's stern expression silenced her, and she followed him to the living room, full of questions.

By then, Adriel had put down his communicator, looking puzzled at his daughter still wrapped in her blanket, and said, "I’ve informed Belruk and the others to wait at their place."

"Good, let's head over now." Xavier nodded and prepared to use Instant Transmission. In the next moment, their surroundings shifted, and the four of them appeared on a desolate, distant planet.

On the barren planet.

The sky was a dull yellow, the air biting cold.

Only seven towering spires stood defiantly, like soldiers guarding a frontier, their casings marked by the weathering of wind and rain.

"Uncle Adriel, you and the others stay in the gravity training room. I'll go and bring everyone else here." After speaking, Xavier immediately used Instant Transmission again and disappeared.

Watching Xavier's frantic demeanor, Celine voiced her confusion, "What's actually going on? Why is Xavier in such a rush? Did Frieza attack Planet Vegeta?"

Having known him for years, she had never seen Xavier so disheveled!

In her eyes, Xavier was always composed and in control, a mythic figure who never faltered. What could possibly unsettle him like this? She could only suspect that Frieza was launching an assault on Planet Vegeta.

Adriel shook his head, clenched his fists, and stared solemnly in the direction of Planet Vegeta. "Could it really be Frieza’s doing?"

"Celine, go change your clothes in the gravity training room first!"

Rebecca frowned at the sight of her daughter wrapped in a blanket. Despite the Saiyan’s casual nature, she thought it improper for a young lady.

Thankfully, the gravity training room, built lavishly by the Phydia people, included not just the upper training levels but also a dining area, washrooms, and living quarters below, stocked with all necessary daily supplies.

Celine glanced at herself, uttered an "Oh," and headed into the gravity room to change her clothes.

Soon after, Belruk, Paradis, Liz, Alice, and other members of the team like Shakda, Atasya, and Jelin were transported over by Xavier. When the idea of relocating to Planet Red Mountain was first proposed, Xavier had revealed the truth to the members of his squad, who had reacted as if invigorated, their admiration for him evident in their gaze...

"Captain, what’s really going on? Has Frieza decided to make a move?" Shakda's handsome face tensed up, his expression turning grim.

"Yeah, why the rush to move us here? What happened?" Belruk and the other Saiyans also inquired.

Xavier shook his head and carefully chose his words: "It’s not Frieza attacking Planet Vegeta; it's just that staying on Planet Vegeta has become even more dangerous."

"What do you mean?" Adriel frowned, puzzled.

If it wasn't Frieza attacking, with their current power, they should be able to handle almost any situation. Why would Xavier say that staying on Planet Vegeta was more dangerous? Was there some other unforeseen event?

Xavier took a deep breath and exhaled slowly: "If it were just Frieza, even at the moment of the planet’s destruction, I could have transported you all to safety. But do you know who I saw on Planet Vegeta just now?"

"Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction! That mighty deity appeared on Planet Vegeta!"

Recalling the near-death experience, Xavier still felt a shiver, adding, "It’s also a stroke of luck, really. If it weren’t for the God of Destruction’s almost obsessive love for gourmet food, I might not have had a chance to survive."

In the presence of the God of Destruction, his psychic powers seemed as if they were frozen, utterly unable to be unleashed.

Chapter 71: A Chill to the Bone

"Oh, strange creature, do you wish for your planet to disappear from the universe?"

Lord Beerus's face darkened instantly, his expression growing stern and his cold, golden eyes devoid of emotion, his words sending a shiver of terror through Xavier.

Oh, my dear miss, can't you stop causing trouble?

Xavier felt dizzy, his hair standing on end, knowing full well the terror of a God of Destruction. He really wanted to smack Merus down right there.

For a God of Destruction, annihilating a planet was as simple as flicking a finger, and Xavier wouldn't even have time to use Instant Transmission to save Celine and the others!

Xavier quickly covered Merus's mouth, holding it shut despite her struggles, and repeatedly apologized to Beerus:

"Lord Beerus, please don't take the words of a child to heart!"

Beerus's gaze was icy as he stared with his golden eyes, his divine presence causing the temperature around to plummet.

"Young man, since you know my name, you should also be aware of how a God of Destruction behaves. Insulting a deity is not something that can be forgiven. You and this planet might as well disappear from the universe together!"

As he spoke, a flicker of light appeared on his finger, and a small purple energy sphere formed, surrounded by several rings of sparkling light swirling around it.

This was a super energy sphere capable of destroying the entire Planet Vegeta in one go!

Seeing the small purple energy sphere on the God of Destruction's finger, Xavier’s pupils constricted. Beerus had actually begun to invoke "destruction" — he was truly intending to obliterate Planet Vegeta!

Xavier's mind raced, desperately thinking of ways to persuade Beerus to spare their planet.

Suddenly, a spark of inspiration struck him; he remembered that Beerus was particularly fond of tasting exquisite cuisine. Perhaps improving his mood could save Planet Vegeta.

Indeed, Beerus's whimsical and illogical nature might be their only hope. Forgetting to conceal his power, Xavier quickly opened his dimensional space, retrieving stacks of steaming, delicious food that he had brought from Earth.

"Lord Beerus, these are some delicacies from my collection; I hope you will enjoy them!"

"Hmm? Psychic powers?"

Beerus recognized Xavier's method instantly. Having lived countless years, Beerus had seen many capable of using psychic powers; Xavier's abilities did little to impress him.

However, the aroma wafting from the hot dishes gradually warmed his expression.

"They look quite tasty!"

Dispelling the energy sphere in his hand, Beerus, intrigued, pointed at the food, the tempting aroma greatly enhancing his appetite.

Stuffing a plate of food into his mouth, the delightful flavors tantalized his taste buds. Beerus showed a look of surprise, swiftly shoveling several plates of the delicious food into his mouth, all the while puffing out hot breaths.

"Ha ha, so delicious! This time, Whis is missing out on these tasty treats..."

In no time at all, Beerus devoured several plates of food, patting his stomach contentedly. He then gave Xavier an approving glance and asked, "Kid, what's your name?"

"Lord Beerus, my name is Xavier!"

Beerus nodded, "This time, I'll spare this planet for your sake and these delicacies. Be grateful, for the mercy of a God of Destruction is rare."

"Thank you, Lord Beerus!"

Xavier was visibly relieved, respectfully watching as Beerus departed.

Only after Beerus disappeared from sight did Xavier breathe a sigh of relief, feeling the sweat on his back. This was his first encounter with a deity of such stature, and the pressure was immense—he was genuinely afraid of being annihilated on a whim.

Looking around, he noticed that the passersby acted as if they hadn't witnessed the events unfold.

Had the God of Destruction blocked everyone's senses? Xavier shuddered, gaining a deeper understanding of the terrifying power of a God of Destruction.

"Hey, who was that guy, anyway? You seemed really scared of him," Merus asked, bringing him back to reality. Glaring at the one who had almost caused the destruction of Planet Vegeta, Xavier's frustration boiled over, and he dragged Merus into an alley.

"What are you trying to do, get us killed?" Merus yelled indignantly, her candy apple dropping to the ground due to Xavier's rough handling.

"Do you have any idea what your words nearly cost us? The entire Planet Vegeta could have been destroyed because of you!"

Xavier didn't care much for the fate of Planet Vegeta itself, but the thought of Celine and the others dying was chilling.

A child with no manners needs a lesson!

Without another word, he flipped Merus over, her back across his lap, grabbed her tail with one hand, and with the other, he started spanking her.

"Smack..."

Merus was stunned; she had never been spanked before!

She struggled in Xavier's grasp, but her minimal power level was no match for him. After several more spanks, he finally let her down.

"You... you actually hit me..." The little girl clutched her behind, tears welling up in her eyes as she began to sob uncontrollably.

Merus, considered a prodigious elite warrior, found herself inconsolable, the humiliation of being unable to resist the spanking overwhelming her, causing her tears to flow even more freely.

What kind of person was this nephew of Master Adriel? He was just a middle-tier warrior, only seven years older than her, yet her power had no effect against him whatsoever.

As her tears subsided a bit, Merus began to realize something. Adriel's nephew was no ordinary Saiyan. How could a regular middle-tier warrior immobilize her like this, especially when her power level was nearing 850?

Watching Merus cry her heart out, Xavier began to second-guess if he had been too harsh, considering she was not even five years old.

But then he remembered how her careless words had nearly led to the death of Celine and others, which steeled his resolve again. Merus was too arrogant; it was necessary for her to face some hardships.

Finally, Merus's crying began to subside.

"Alright, Merus, stop crying. You need to understand, the person you provoked is none other than Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction. He is one of the most terrifying deities in the entire universe. Just a flick of his finger could erase Planet Vegeta from existence. You might be the first person to have angered a God of Destruction and still live to tell the tale."

"God of Destruction... Beerus?"

Merus looked up with tear-stained eyes, confusion written across her face.

"Basically, he's a being that Saiyans, or anyone in the universe for that matter, cannot afford to provoke," Xavier explained seriously, still taken aback by the fact that Beerus had appeared on Planet Vegeta.

Chapter 70: Lord Beerus

"Is it her?"

Xavier was momentarily stunned as he recognized the newcomer, his eyes narrowing slightly.

Staggering towards him was none other than Adriel's student, Merus!

His gaze lingered on her, observing carefully. Xavier noted that Merus's power level had nearly reached 850—a remarkable feat.

"Wow, such a high power level at such a young age; no wonder she's always so aloof!"

If he remembered correctly, Adriel’s student was not even five years old yet. Such power, even among elite warriors, was exceedingly rare. Legend has it that Vegeta was already battling Saibamen when Planet Vegeta met its demise.

Merus's talent might just rival that of Vegeta, the only one of her age who could surpass her.

Luckily, Merus was a girl; had she been a boy, she likely wouldn't have been able to live so freely. However, with such potential, she was undoubtedly already on King Vegeta’s list for special training.

Xavier smiled nonchalantly, deciding it was none of his concern, and turned to leave.

But Merus had already spotted him in the crowd and waved. Pretending not to see her, Xavier walked in the opposite direction!

She actually pretended not to see me! Merus's adorable eyebrows furrowed, her cheeks puffing out in dissatisfaction as she hurried after him, blocking his path with fierce eyes:

"You! Pretending not to see me, do you even know who I am?"

"Oh, isn’t this Miss Merus? I’m in a rush to get back; could you please move aside?"

"You!"

Merus was infuriated by Xavier’s dismissive attitude. Grabbing his sleeve, she said sternly, "If you weren’t Master Adriel’s nephew, I wouldn’t bother with you at all!"

Proudly lifting her head as if to say, talking to you should be considered an honor.

"Yes, yes, thank you, Miss Merus, for your gracious attention. I shall remember your kindness."

Xavier was startled by her unwarranted sense of superiority, finding it amusing. Reflexively, he wanted to pat her head but seeing her puffed-up little face, he withdrew his hand with a chuckle.

After all, she was just a little girl under five. Xavier didn’t want to argue with her, so he placated her small vanity and prepared to leave.

But just then, a purple figure appeared in the distance among the crowd.

It was a gaunt creature with long purple ears, resembling a mummy freshly risen from the grave, its eyes slightly bulging, dressed in attire akin to that of an Egyptian pharaoh.

Given that Planet Vegeta was a melting pot of various alien races, the creature’s bizarre attire didn’t draw much attention from the onlookers.

However, upon first seeing the figure, Xavier felt a chill run down his spine, and cold sweat began to bead on his forehead.

"Lord Beerus, the God of Destruction, here on Planet Vegeta?" Xavier gasped in shock, hardly believing that he was witnessing the presence of Lord Beerus himself.

Such a figure was fickle and formidable!

In the vast world of Dragon Ball, many powerful deities lurked, but someone like Lord Beerus stood at the very pinnacle of the universe, being one of its mightiest entities.

Angering him could lead to Planet Vegeta being wiped from existence with a mere flick of his finger.

At the level of a God of Destruction, creation and destruction were merely a thought away. To them, good and evil held little significance; their duty was to impartially maintain the balance of the universe.

Destruction, when deemed necessary, was executed without mercy.

The realms of good and evil, as perceived by mortals, held no relevance to such deities. They operated on a cosmic scale, where mortal concepts of morality were trivial.

Let the King of Hell judge those matters.

Xavier felt a slight relief knowing that, so far, no Saiyan had displeased Lord Beerus.

"Eh?"

Seemingly noticing Xavier’s gaze, Beerus's golden eyes shifted towards him. When he noticed Xavier and Merus, a curious smile appeared on his lips.

The power levels of most life forms in the universe were generally low. A fighter like Xavier was rare, and though he concealed his power, to someone like Lord Beerus, such concealment was meaningless.

"Hehe, interesting. To think there are such skilled fighters among these wild monkeys!"

With that, Beerus started walking towards Xavier and Merus.

"Lord Beerus is actually walking over here..."

Xavier felt on the verge of tears. What bad karma had led him to encounter such a formidable deity while simply out shopping?

Locked in by Beerus's aura, Xavier found himself unable to use any techniques, as the space around him felt as if it had solidified.

Beerus approached, resting his chin on his hand, circling Xavier as if a countryman marveling at a fine piece of craftsmanship.

"Young man, your skills are impressive. You know how to conceal your energy, not like those barbaric monkeys who just squander power without any sense of subtlety!"

In the eyes of a God of Destruction, the Saiyans' unrestrained display of energy was like a searchlight in the night, visible from afar, truly the behavior of uncultured brutes!

"Thank you for the compliment, Lord Beerus!"

No sooner had Xavier spoken than he wished he could slap himself. Why had he mentioned Beerus by name?

Sure enough, Beerus’s eyes lit up, intrigued. "You know my name?"

"I once saw a depiction of Lord Beerus during a mission, in an ancient temple on a distant planet..." Xavier had no choice but to fabricate a story, attributing Beerus's known presence to a nonexistent temple.

"Ah, very good, very good!"

Beerus nodded, his mood visibly brightened.

For a deity of his stature, it was plausible to be known and venerated through depictions, though he seldom ventured out.

"Hey, Xavier, what exactly is this strange creature? You seem quite frightened of him," piped up a youthful, innocent voice, suddenly freezing the atmosphere.

Xavier's heart skipped a beat, his entire being tense with anxiety.

Chapter 69: King Vegeta

Vegeta Planet, the Royal Palace.

A resplendent hall ablaze with lights.

The ivory white stone walls, unadorned and bare, revealed a grid pattern under the luminance of the lamps, its bold and unrestrained style not chaotic but rather emanating a majestic and grandiose aura.

The Saiyans, a warrior race, disdained pettiness and pretense, embracing a spirit that could swallow mountains and rivers whole.

In the palace’s grand hall, a red carpet stretched forth from the entrance to the base of the throne.

Atop the throne, elevated by several steps from the hall, King Vegeta sat in a dark crimson battle armor, one hand propping his head as he leaned on the throne's armrest, eyes closed in contemplation. His chest armor shone like white jade, faintly gleaming, exuding an air of luxury.

Suddenly, King Vegeta opened his eyes and summoned his lieutenant nearby, asking, “Putar, how goes the preparations of our forces?”

Putar, a muscular bald Saiyan and a high-ranking warrior, was in charge of all matters within and outside the palace.

“My King, we have rallied over two hundred thousand Saiyans who have all heeded your call, ready to face Frieza in a battle to the death!” The bald Saiyan, named Putar, had a fierce gleam in his eyes, his voice barely containing his excitement.

“Only two hundred thousand Saiyans? Far too few. Have the others forgotten the pride of the Saiyans? Frieza is not one to be trifled with. Look at those who once followed him; how many remain now? The Saiyans cannot perish by his hands!”

King Vegeta suddenly stood, his tone angry and dissatisfied, his dark brown hair standing tall, a commanding presence instantly sweeping across the palace.

Though ambitious, King Vegeta was wholeheartedly devoted to the Saiyan race and could not bear the thought of their decline.

Years ago, after a fierce battle with the inhabitants of Planet Zvelf, the Saiyans had seized control of Planet Vegeta, but the reconstruction faced significant challenges. It was during this time that Frieza’s forces appeared before the Saiyans, offering to employ them.

Reflecting now, accepting Frieza’s employment was a grave mistake!

King Vegeta had long sensed Frieza’s increasing surveillance of the Saiyan race, which to him was an absolute insult. Saiyans, as warriors, could accept death on the battlefield but would never tolerate being treated and monitored like livestock.

Therefore, long ago, King Vegeta had begun to amass strength, preparing for the day he would confront Frieza.

However, many within the Saiyan race failed to understand, and a considerable number even developed a reverence for Frieza—a sentiment King Vegeta could not tolerate. He could accept neutrality in the rebellion, but not allegiance to the enemy.

Those who sided with the enemy would need to be dealt with once the rebellion succeeded.

“Is there anything else?”

“My King, I have discovered that some have been making covert moves, seemingly plotting something!” Putar flipped through the documents in his hand. Despite his robust physique, he was incredibly astute; he had quickly caught on to the subtle actions of Adriel and his associates.

“Is that so?” King Vegeta’s gaze sharpened. “Putar, see to it that you thoroughly investigate this matter!”

“Yes!” Putar stood at attention, responded loudly, and then turned to walk out of the palace.

In the magnificent palace hall, only King Vegeta remained, sitting on his throne with his eyes closed, deep in thought.

A few days later.

Putar returned to the palace, holding a thick list of missing individuals.

“My King, I have completed the investigation. These are the Saiyans who have mysteriously vanished from Planet Vegeta in recent months; it seems they have left the planet?”

“Oh? To disappear from Planet Vegeta without a trace, and the Tuffles didn’t notice?” King Vegeta’s eyes flickered with a sardonic smile.

The Tuffles controlled the transport systems off Planet Vegeta; any spacecraft leaving the planet was registered with them. King Vegeta had long been dissatisfied with the Tuffles; if not for the need to avoid drawing Frieza’s attention, the Tuffles would not have been allowed to live on Planet Vegeta.

“It appears they did not leave using spacecraft,” Putar was puzzled. Without spacecraft, how did these individuals depart Planet Vegeta?

“Who are these people who left?”

“Mainly low-level warriors, and about a hundred mid-level warriors; only five or six high-level warriors led them!”

“Just these weaklings?”

King Vegeta skimmed through the list, his face displaying disdain as he incinerated the list with an energy blast.

“Forget about them for now; erase these names from the Saiyan records. Hmph, these individuals do not deserve to be called Saiyans. Our main focus should remain on building our strength, not on distractions. We’ll deal with these people after the battle with Frieza!”

Seeing King Vegeta destroy the list, Putar was unsure of what the King was thinking, hesitating several times before holding back his words.

Logically, such rebellious actions should be addressed immediately! Yet King Vegeta did not act as expected, choosing instead to remove their existence from the Saiyan records—perhaps in his heart, King Vegeta was also leaving a path of retreat for the Saiyan race.

Should he succeed in his rebellion against Frieza, those who left Planet Vegeta would likely face certain death; but if he failed, they might represent the last hope for the Saiyans.

However, resting hopes on a few frail low and mid-level warriors was akin to treating a dead horse as though it were alive.

……

Four months later, on a bustling street of Planet Vegeta.

The street was alive with activity as Saiyans, dressed in simple battle suits, carried packs filled with various food supplies. Along the sides, stores operated by a variety of unique-looking aliens catered to the crowd—commerce wasn’t a Saiyan's strong suit outside of their prowess in battle.

On this day, Xavier ventured alone for shopping, strolling from the east end of the street to the west, purchasing only a few everyday clothing items he needed.

As he passed a jewelry store, he thought of Celine, who so far didn’t seem to own any such trinkets or accessories. Deciding to buy some for her, Xavier paused outside the shop then stepped inside.

Inside, the displays were filled with earrings, pendants, and other ornaments, along with wearable items like belts and brooches. Xavier browsed quickly through the store, unsure of Celine’s preferences. Eventually, he opted for a pragmatic approach—picking several attractive ribbons, pendants, and bracelets.

With plenty of mission points left and nowhere else to spend them—especially with the looming destruction of Planet Vegeta—Xavier felt little need to hold back.

As Xavier was paying and having the jewelry packaged, the enthusiastic alien shopkeeper carefully placed each item into elegant little boxes, tying them up with silk ribbons.

“Hehe, I hope Celine likes these!” Xavier chuckled, collecting his purchases.

Just as he stepped out of the store, he spotted a small figure wobbling along the street, munching on something resembling a candy apple.

Chapter 68: Wishing Upon the Dragon

Having made up his mind, Xavier soared into the sky, advancing toward his next target. With the aid of the more advanced Dragon Ball Radar, he quickly found the fifth and sixth Dragon Balls in a primeval forest and a Gobi desert respectively, the latter being the Seven-Star Ball originally found in the castle of the Ox-King.

After gathering six Dragon Balls, Xavier immediately headed towards the location of the last one.

According to the original story, the Kame House was not far from the small island city where Xavier had once met Mutaito, reachable by speedboat.

With a swift sound, after a brief streak of light, Xavier appeared thousands of kilometers away over the ocean. The deep blue waters were tumultuous, with giant waves rolling under the vast expanse. Xavier pulled out his Dragon Ball Radar, confirmed his bearings, and flew towards the direction of Kame House.

Soon, a speck appeared on the horizon where the sky met the ocean.

It was a small island bobbing in the sea. As he drew closer, he saw that the island was barely over a hundred square meters, hosting a pink-toned cottage and four or five coconut trees.

"Ha ha, finally found Kame House!" Xavier smiled as the outline of the island appeared before him. With a whoosh, he accelerated towards Kame House.

At Kame House, the sea breeze was gentle, and seabirds chirped overhead. The warm sunlight created a cozy atmosphere.

Under the coconut trees, spots of light filtered through, like stardust from the sun. Master Roshi, wearing sunglasses, lay on a sun lounger, basking in the sun and soundly sleeping, a pornographic magazine clutched in his drooping hand.

It was a scene of perfect contentment, but suddenly, a gust of wind stirred, sweeping up sand and obscuring visibility. The coconut trees swayed violently in the fierce wind.

"Uh... What's this? Such a strong sea breeze!" Master Roshi awoke from his nap, squinting at the wind-swept island. After a few glances and seeing nothing of concern, he lay back down to rest. On the ocean, such breezes were too common to warrant his attention.

It wasn't until the evening that Master Roshi realized the crystal ball that had always hung around his neck was missing, leaving only the hemp rope it had been strung on.

"Where could it have gone?" Master Roshi pondered, unable to recall where it might be and not particularly concerned, although he had worn the crystal ball for over a hundred years and was somewhat reluctant to lose it.

A few kilometers from Kame House, on a barren island, Xavier laid out the seven Dragon Balls. They immediately began to sparkle with golden light at their touch, each flicker accompanied by a soft hum that seemed to hint at the presence of the dragon.

"Hum, hum, hum!" The Dragon Balls flickered rhythmically.

Watching the glowing Dragon Balls on the ground, Xavier felt an irrepressible excitement stirring within him. Although he had been in the world of Dragon Balls for eleven years, this was his first real summons of the dragon.

"Come forth, Shenron!" Xavier took a deep breath and shouted at the Dragon Balls, then waited quietly. As expected in the original stories, calling out seemed somewhat melodramatic but was remarkably effective.

Indeed, following Xavier's call, the Dragon Balls flashed faster and more urgently. Soon, a vast swath of dark clouds gathered, swiftly covering the entire sky and plunging the surroundings into a terrifying darkness.

"Boom!" Thunder roared in the darkness, and golden lightning, like angry dragons, streaked across the black clouds, striking down in furious bolts. The thunderous roars were deafening, as if heralding the apocalypse.

The light from the Dragon Balls grew more intense, shining brighter and resonating with the golden lightning in the sky.

"The dragon is coming!" Xavier, trying to contain his excitement, stared unblinkingly. Having only seen Shenron appear in animations before, the sight was still as majestic and imposing in person.

"Ao!" A dragon's roar echoed.

Massive torrents of golden light burst forth from the Dragon Balls, weaving through the air and merging with the lightning above, culminating in a mighty dragon cry that echoed through the heavens.

In the sky, a green dragon spiraled through the dark clouds, finally fixing its gaze downwards with eyes flashing red.

"Mortal, state your wish. I can grant you any desire!" Shenron boomed.

Xavier, adjusting his emotions, said, "Shenron, I have a list of Saiyans here. My wish is, at the time of Planet Vegeta's destruction, to transport all the Saiyans on this list to Planet Red Mountain in the Eastern Galaxy."

With that, Xavier raised the register high, his eyes filled with anticipation. The list contained the names of over ten thousand Saiyans, the result of extensive discussions and deliberations by Adriel and his associates, deciding who deserved to escape to Planet Red Mountain but couldn't leave early for various reasons.

If all these Saiyans were to be evacuated at the last moment, even Xavier wouldn't be able to transport them all at once.

This was the time to harness the power of Earth's Dragon Balls.

Of course, the loyal followers of King Vegeta and the worshippers of Frieza were naturally not included on the list, eliminating most of the Saiyans on Planet Vegeta. The remaining were either indecisive or of incompatible temperaments, and ultimately, only about twelve thousand were selected.

Considering the future of the Saiyan lineage on Planet Red Mountain, Xavier attached great importance to this matter and waited quietly for Shenron's response. After a long silence, just as Xavier began to think his wish might be ungrantable, Shenron spoke.

"Human, as your wish pertains to future events, I cannot fulfill it immediately... However, I can imbue these Saiyans with the power of the Dragon Balls, which will activate at the moment of Planet Vegeta's destruction."

"But this only applies to those who are alive. If these Saiyans are deceased when Planet Vegeta is destroyed, the power of the Dragon Balls will not activate!"

Shenron's response was in line with Xavier's hopes. He replied, "Shenron, please fulfill my wish!"

"Easy enough!" The booming voice resonated, and Shenron's eyes emitted a bright red glow.

With Shenron's power at work, Xavier knew that the fate of how many would reach Planet Red Mountain depended on their survival until the destruction of Planet Vegeta.

"Mortal, your wish has been granted. Farewell."

With those words, Shenron's coiling body transformed back into the seven Dragon Balls. They spun in the sky a few times, preparing to scatter across the world.

However, Xavier, prepared for this moment, leapt high into the air, activating his psychic powers in a flash. He managed to catch the Two-Star, Four-Star, Three-Star, and Seven-Star Balls before they could fly away!

Upon inspection, Xavier found that the four Dragon Balls had turned into white stones, which would not regain their Dragon Ball form for another year.

Xavier smiled nonchalantly, and with a flick of his wrist, he opened a rift in the air and tossed the stone-form Dragon Balls inside, "I'll return the Dragon Balls to Gohan and the others later!"

Having accomplished his main mission on Earth, Xavier was in high spirits. He then took some time to explore various Earth environments and stocked up on a large quantity of food before finally leaving the planet.

Chapter 67: The Quest for the Dragon Balls

Xavier nodded to Dokra, handing over two Dragon Balls, "Here are two Dragon Balls. Get your team on them immediately. I want the Dragon Ball Radar built as soon as possible!"

Although the original series never specified how long it took Bulma to create the Dragon Ball Radar, Xavier was confident that with the extraordinary intellect of the Phydia people, building the radar wouldn't pose much of a challenge.

"Yes, I will arrange for researchers right away."

Dokra's expression was solemn as he took the Dragon Balls from Xavier's hands. The moment the two orbs touched, they began to buzz and flicker energetically.

Dokra had never seen such a miraculous object and a flicker of curiosity passed through his eyes. He quickly gathered the finest scientists aboard to study the Dragon Balls.

Though Dokra didn't know the exact nature of the two Dragon Balls Xavier had entrusted to him, he could tell from Xavier's grave concern that they were of great importance. Therefore, Dokra took the research very seriously, deciding to personally oversee and participate in the study.

After all, the Phydia people were under Xavier's protection, and it was crucial that they demonstrate their worth at this critical time.

Thus, having received the Dragon Balls, he immediately convened the scientists for a round-the-clock research session, hoping to quickly deliver a satisfactory result to Lord Xavier.

The Phydia people, known for their technological prowess, proposed several research directions based on the properties of the Dragon Balls within just a few days of receiving them. After discussions, they decided to start with studies on wavelength and optics, closely mirroring Bulma's approach to inventing the Dragon Ball Radar.

Amid the relentless research by all the Phydia people, fifteen days passed. During this time, Xavier visited to inspect the progress of the Dragon Ball Radar's construction. Seeing the scientists' tireless dedication, he quietly departed.

Finally, on the twenty-second day, good news arrived—the Phydia people had successfully developed the Dragon Ball Radar.

Hearing this, Xavier instantly teleported to Dokra's lab.

However, he was taken aback by the sight of them— a group of Phydia scientists, disheveled, gaunt, with bloodshot eyes sunken deep into their sockets, clearly having exhausted their mental faculties.

"Lord Xavier, this is the Dragon Ball Radar you requested!"

Dokra's voice trembled with excitement as he presented the newly developed radar with both hands, his blue cheeks deepening in color from the thrill.

Xavier nodded, taking the Dragon Ball Radar to examine it. It resembled a bowl-sized detector with a blue screen marked by grid lines forming light green squares, each representing a different area.

Notably, the display wasn't just a flat map, but a three-dimensional spherical projection. As Xavier's fingers moved across it, the spherical model on the display rotated like a globe, turning with each manipulation.

At the top center of the Dragon Ball Radar's axis were two buttons that could adjust the size of the detection area.

"We discovered while researching the Dragon Balls that when placed together, they emit a unique coded electromagnetic wave. By capturing this wave, we were able to create this Dragon Ball Radar. Considering the Dragon Balls might be scattered across an entire planet, we designed the radar's display in the form of a planetary projection."

This design displayed the detection results on a three-dimensional spherical model, which could also change direction with a flick of a finger—an extremely user-friendly feature.

Pressing the switch on the Dragon Ball Radar, the spherical model immediately lit up with a crystalline glow. As the map zoomed in, the spherical pattern approached a plane, and finally, at the central origin point of the void, two shining bright spots appeared—the very Dragon Balls in Xavier's hands.

"Though we are in space, the radar still defaults to a planetary environment, a minor flaw, but it’s a minor issue! With this detection radar, the speed of collecting Dragon Balls could increase by hundreds or thousands of times," Xavier pondered silently.

He was very pleased with the performance of the Phydia people and did not skimp on his praises for Dokra, "You've done very well, truly a civilization proficient in technology. To be able to create a Dragon Ball Radar in such a short time, I am very satisfied!"

Dokra and the other Phydia people accepted Xavier’s praise as if they had been offered a chilled watermelon on a hot summer day, feeling instantly refreshed and vindicated after their days of hard work.

"Lord Xavier, it's our honor to serve you!"

"Rest assured, I will remember your contributions!"

With that, Xavier smiled at the Phydia scientists, nodded to them, and then vanished from the spaceship using instant transmission.

...

Earth.

Xavier appeared on a vast plain strewn with bizarrely shaped rocks.

Tall, bamboo shoot-like rocks protruded from the ground, forming small mounds. The rocks, weathered by the elements over time, had formed hollow and unique shapes.

Upon arriving on Earth, Xavier couldn't wait to pull out the Dragon Ball Radar and press the button. Immediately, the "beep beep" sound emitted, and seven shining light points appeared on the spherical model of the radar, with two light points clustered at the origin point representing the radar itself.

"There's a Dragon Ball 500 kilometers to the east!" Xavier glanced at the light points displayed on the radar, leaped into the air, and in a swift motion, disappeared into the horizon.

It was a high plateau, severely affected by soil erosion, where conditions were harsh and almost no vegetation could thrive. Yet, some life forms managed to persist in this stark environment.

With a ferocious roar, Xavier spotted a gray dinosaur chasing a wild dog across the landscape. The enormous creature thundered across the ground like a small mountain, shaking the earth with each step.

"Such unbridled primal wildness!" Xavier remarked, glancing at the dinosaur before disinterestedly walking away. His priority was finding the Dragon Balls, and unless he was hungry, he had no interest in the dinosaur.

With a whoosh, Xavier blurred into motion, appearing several hundred meters ahead in a thicket of bushes. "It should be nearby..." he murmured, surveying the area for potential hiding spots for the Dragon Ball.

After a lengthy search yielded no results, Xavier used a gust of wind blade to cut through the dead brush, making his way deeper into the thicket. It was only after clearing nearly half of the bushes that he spotted a glint of light among them.

"Found it!" With a leap, he landed amongst the bushes, where an orange-red Dragon Ball was wedged between the branches, reflecting the sun's radiance. He pried apart the branches and took the Dragon Ball into his hands—it was the One-Star Dragon Ball.

"A successful start—this is the third Dragon Ball!" Xavier exclaimed, delighted. He stored the Dragon Ball in his dimensional space and pulled out the Dragon Ball Radar to locate the next one. After a couple of beeps, the radar displayed signals for four more Dragon Balls.

The nearest Dragon Ball was over a thousand kilometers away, but with his instant transmission ability, Xavier reached it in the blink of an eye.

A serene mountain village.

"Kaw!" A crow cawed from the branches, fluttering across the sky.

The village, surrounded by mountains and situated in a low-lying area, was shrouded in a thin mist where the sunlight couldn't reach fully. A gentle breeze brushed against his face, moistening the tips of his hair.

The search for the fourth Dragon Ball went smoothly; Xavier found the Six-Star Ball in a bird's nest.

When the four Dragon Balls were placed together, they emitted a golden light that flickered rhythmically, as beautiful as the stars in a clear night sky.

"Right, it seems one of the Dragon Balls is with Master Roshi!" Xavier suddenly remembered, slapping his forehead. In the original story, Bulma and Goku had first acquired a Dragon Ball by exchanging favors with Master Roshi.

Having forgotten this detail for so long, Xavier took out the Dragon Ball Radar to check once more. It seemed he might need to make a trip to Master Roshi's house to retrieve the Dragon Ball from around his neck.

Chapter 66: The Dragon Balls

Time surged forward rapidly, and two months had passed in the blink of an eye.

North Galaxy, Earth.

The weather was clear and the sunshine was radiant, the dawn's light painting the land in vibrant and beautiful hues, making everything appear wonderfully serene.

In the northern hemisphere, nestled within a continuous range of steep mountains, a figure suddenly moved through the woods with agility—now flashing into view, now vanishing, sometimes appearing directly ahead only to blink and reappear hundreds of meters away on another mountain.

"Paozu Mountain should be nearby," Xavier lifted his head to gaze at the towering peaks ahead, feeling a sense of tranquility in his heart.

The area was rugged and serene, with dense mountains surrounding a narrow trail leading deep into the wilderness. Due to its remote location, the area was seldom visited by people, gradually becoming a haven for wild animals.

Returning to Earth three years after the near destruction of Planet Vegeta, Xavier had his own objectives. Over the past two months, he had tirelessly traveled between Planet Vegeta and Planet Red Mountain, finally relocating over three thousand Saiyans to establish a preliminary settlement on Planet Red Mountain.

However, the Saiyan community on Planet Red Mountain was primarily composed of low-class warriors, with only a few high-class warriors like Adriel, making them considerably modest compared to the Saiyans of Planet Vegeta. Although this wouldn’t hinder the future development of the Planet Red Mountain Saiyans, the scarcity of high-class warriors meant a thin heritage, requiring more time to enhance the Saiyan bloodline.

The simplest method to elevate the Saiyan lineage would be to transfer high-class warriors from Planet Vegeta. However, the high-class warriors were sparse, and each one was a valuable asset to the Saiyans, their sudden disappearance likely to draw the attention of King Vegeta.

While Xavier could disregard King Vegeta's perspective, he had to consider the potential reactions from Frieza upon discovering such movements.

It was best to proceed with caution!

Xavier pondered and decided to focus on Earth's Dragon Balls. Utilizing the Dragon Balls to wish for the relocation of some Saiyans to Planet Red Mountain seemed a sound strategy.

Of course, Xavier wouldn’t transfer too many Saiyans; each selection would be carefully considered. Maintaining stability within the Saiyan community was crucial at this time, as a stable environment would allow the Saiyans to recuperate and return to their peak condition.

Yet, another problem arose—the current era was somewhat premature, the main story of the Dragon Balls had not yet begun, Bulma was still young, and thus the Dragon Radar did not yet exist.

Before collecting the seven Dragon Balls, Xavier needed to prepare the Dragon Radar. His first step was to acquire a Dragon Ball and have the Phydia people analyze its wavelength. Given their level of technology, they should be able to create a Dragon Radar fairly quickly.

Within the original story, only two Dragon Balls were known: one was the four-star ball found by Gohan in a valley, and the other was the two-star ball stored in Bulma's family warehouse.

……

In the dense primeval forest near Paozu Mountain, Xavier swiftly maneuvered through the brush, eventually standing on an exposed rock to survey his surroundings, quietly sensing the energies around him.

Suddenly, the rustling sounds of movement came from nearby. Packs of wolves and leopards lurked within the jungle, their fierce eyes intensely watching Xavier...

With a low growl echoing through the woods, startling a mass of birds into the sky, Xavier's eyes narrowed. His formidable aura burst forth like a dragon emerging from the sea, sweeping all directions. With a casual wave of his hand, a blast of energy rolled through the forest, toppling trees and sending the predators whimpering and scattering in fear.

After dispatching these minor threats, Xavier chuckled softly and continued towards the mountain.

Soon, he emerged from the woods onto a relatively flat hillside where a cobblestone path wound upwards along the slope.

At the foot of Paozu Mountain, a small house made of bricks and bluestone stood in the shade of nearby trees, exuding a distinctly Eastern charm.

"Ha ha, finally found it! Ah, the energy is nearby, heading this way. Maybe I'll just wait here," Xavier smiled, finally allowing a look of satisfaction to cross his face as he admired the tranquil and elegant surroundings. "Gohan sure picked a nice spot to live in."

Paozu Mountain, being remote and beautifully serene with air filled with refreshing fragrances, was a fitting retreat for someone like Gohan, who was not only the senior disciple of the martial arts sage Master Roshi but also an accomplished martial artist himself, naturally choosing a place conducive to cultivating both body and spirit.

"Eh, young man, what brings you to such a secluded place on your own?" an elderly voice sounded from behind, and turning around, Xavier saw an old man carrying a bundle of firewood coming down the mountain.

The elder, dressed in traditional attire with a ruddy complexion and a hat on his head, had white whiskers that gave him an almost ethereal, sage-like appearance.

"I am here searching for something known as a Dragon Ball. It's an orange crystal ball with red stars embedded in it. Have you, by any chance, seen such a thing?" Xavier inquired.

"A crystal ball with stars?" Gohan touched his forehead, pondering, then pulled out a crystal ball from his pocket. "Is it this?"

Inside the crystal ball, four red stars shone brightly—it was indeed the Four-Star Dragon Ball.

"Yes, that's exactly what I'm looking for. I wonder if you, sir, might lend me this Dragon Ball. I promise to return it once I'm done using it," Xavier asked earnestly, looking at the Four-Star Dragon Ball in Gohan's hands.

"So this is called a Dragon Ball? I found it in a valley a few years ago. If you need it, I'll give it to you," Gohan responded, handing over the Four-Star Ball.

"Thank you so much!" Xavier expressed his gratitude fervently as he took the Dragon Ball from Gohan.

The Dragon Balls on Earth, although crafted by Kami, actually bore the patent of the Dragon God Zalama, utilizing the principle of refraction which allowed the red stars inside to be visible from any angle.

"It's nothing, since you've come looking for it, you must need it..." Gohan said with a smile, clearly not overly concerned about parting with the Dragon Ball.

Xavier deeply respected Gohan's generous spirit; such was the heart of a true martial artist.

Having acquired the Four-Star Ball, Xavier did not wish to disturb Gohan's peace any longer. He quickly left Paozu Mountain and, using Instant Transmission from the foothills, arrived in the bustling metropolis of West City.

Although the main storyline was still over a decade away, West City, as one of Earth's foremost supercities, was already thriving impressively.

Speaking of West City, its most famous feature had to be the Capsule Corporation, an enterprise founded by Dr. Briefs that had risen to prominence in recent years. Within just a few years, the miraculous Capsule Technology had swept across the world. In West City, the Capsule Corporation and Dr. Briefs were household names.

After casually inquiring with a passerby, Xavier found Bulma's home.

He bypassed the guards of the luxurious villa and leaped into an old warehouse. After some searching inside, he uncovered another shimmering orange crystal ball. Counting the stars embedded within it, there were two stars—this was the Two-Star Dragon Ball.

Xavier took out the Four-Star Ball from his pocket and placed it alongside the Two-Star Ball. As if drawn by some mysterious force, both Dragon Balls began to emit a buzzing sound and flashed a golden glow intermittently.

With the second Dragon Ball in hand, a pleased smile spread across Xavier's face. With another flash of Instant Transmission, he left Earth.

On a spaceship of the Phydia people:

The spaceship was traveling at high speed through space, gradually approaching Planet Red Mountain. A streak of dazzling light shot through the void, and Xavier, having previously left a spatial mark inside the spaceship, managed to precisely find its location even while it was in motion.

"Lord Xavier!"

In the control hall, Dokra was directing the technicians in managing various parameters. Upon seeing Xavier appear, he immediately came forward to greet him.

Chapter 65: Arrival and the Saiyan Diaspora

Adriel watched everything with a smile, his dark cheeks flushed with a hint of red. From this moment, their branch of Saiyans was embarking on a vast journey, perhaps becoming the sole surviving Saiyan tribe.

Minutes later, a streak of light flashed, and Xavier reappeared before them. Since the first jump star was only a twelve-day journey from Planet Vegeta, using Instant Transmission allowed for a quick round trip.

"I've already transported those people to the first jump star. Now, I'll take you," he announced.

With the scene they had just witnessed, the remaining Saiyans were somewhat excited. At Xavier's command, they quickly formed a large circle again. Some of the more astute among them had already perceived Xavier's uniqueness. Despite his youthful appearance, could any ordinary child wield such profound psychic powers?

The way these Saiyans looked at Xavier was filled with amazement and, more intensely, a burning desire. If only they could possess such magical abilities themselves!

Xavier noticed their gazes and simply smiled. He knew that to truly command obedience from these Saiyans, there was still a long road ahead.

Haste makes waste, and he didn't naturally possess an authoritative royal aura—no one would bow down to him at first sight. Such a scenario was unrealistic.

The indomitable nature of the Saiyans was a mark of their warrior race, ingrained in their bloodline. While they appeared fearless and defiant, Saiyans inherently respected strength. As long as he demonstrated sufficient power, he had no fear of their disobedience.

And power was where Xavier's confidence lay.

Following the same procedure, Xavier used Instant Transmission to move the remaining Saiyans away from Planet Vegeta.

A few hours later, the first group of evacuating Saiyans successfully arrived on Planet Red Mountain, located in the Eastern Galaxy.

After repeatedly using Instant Transmission, even Xavier, with his robust energy, felt exhausted. While utilizing the cosmic ships of the Phydia people was the most convenient method, the vast distance meant a journey of over two years!

"It seems I need to think of other methods to transport people to Planet Red Mountain in the future," Xavier mused quietly after this session of teleportation.

Upon their arrival, the Saiyans had little time to rejoice before the twelvefold gravity of Planet Red Mountain overwhelmed those unprepared.

Thankfully, being naturally accustomed to tenfold gravity and possessing robust physiques, the Saiyans managed to withstand the initial discomfort. Soon enough, most adapted to the increased gravitational pull.

However, some of the weaker Saiyans found breathing laborious, indicating they would need time to adjust.

...

As everyone reached the residential area, the sight that greeted them was somewhat astonishing.

Not far ahead, an ecological zone capable of sustaining three thousand individuals was already established, appearing like a miniature city nestled among mountains. Around it, numerous construction crews busily expanded the city's perimeter.

The city itself featured rows of dome-shaped megastructures, each uniformly standing as standard four-story buildings. The residential area included dedicated training zones, living quarters, and leisure areas, catering extensively to the needs of the Saiyans.

Here, Xavier couldn't help but admire the Phydia people's advanced technology. A small city had risen from the ground in just a few days—an efficiency almost beyond belief.

Using a communicator, Xavier summoned Eilo to introduce the Saiyans to their new living quarters.

"This Planet Red Mountain will be our new Saiyan homeland. I hope everyone will protect it well!" After Eilo's presentation and his departure, Adriel stepped forward with a commanding air, being the only high-class warrior and the most authoritative figure among them.

"Rest assured, Mr. Adriel, we will guard our new homeland!"

"Yes, we can't let it become like Planet Vegeta."

After glancing over everyone, Adriel spoke with a grave expression: "Now that we are here, I must inform you that the Saiyans of Planet Red Mountain will sever ties with those of Planet Vegeta. Your new leader will be the one standing beside me... Xavier!"

As murmurs spread among the crowd, Adriel coughed to draw all eyes to him.

"Of course, some might wonder why I've chosen Xavier as your leader. Is it just because of his Instant Transmission psychic powers? While that's a factor, it's more importantly Xavier's combat prowess that convinces me of his capability to lead us!" With that, Adriel swept his gaze across the assembly, releasing his full aura to underscore his statement.

In that moment, an overwhelming pressure enveloped everyone, pressing the Saiyans, with their combat strengths of merely two to three thousand, to the point of pale dismay.

"Such oppressive power! His strength isn't far off from a peak warrior like King Vegeta!" exclaimed one of the Saiyans.

"I hadn't realized Mr. Adriel had become so strong."

Since all energy detectors had been destroyed early on, the Saiyans could only estimate Adriel's combat power through the sheer oppressiveness of his presence.

"I can tell you all now that my combat power is 11,600! And every member of Adriel's squad boasts strengths over 10,000." As Adriel contained his aura, his declaration hit like a boulder thrown into a tranquil lake, instantly stirring uproar among the Saiyans.

"My goodness, does that mean Planet Red Mountain will have six warriors with combat strengths over 10,000? It took Planet Vegeta years to have just about twenty!"

"Why would Mr. Adriel appoint his nephew as the leader if he is so strong?"

Some Saiyans voiced their doubts, instinctively dismissing the possibility that Xavier could surpass Adriel in strength—it seemed too inconceivable.

Xavier's possession of psychic powers was seen as a rare gift, as beings throughout the universe awakening such powers were not uncommon; they simply saw Xavier as a fortunate individual with psychic abilities, not necessarily linked to combat prowess.

But Adriel's next words struck them like a thunderbolt.

"I appointed Xavier as our leader not because he is my nephew. Truth be told, although I consider my combat power decent, it pales in comparison to my children!"

Adriel beamed with pride and declared, "The glow of a candle cannot compete with the sun and moon. Since we Saiyans revere strength, it is only fitting that our leader should be the strongest among us. And Xavier's combat power has reached 120,000—the mightiest among all Saiyans!"

"What, 120,000 combat power!"

"Is that a mistake? How can someone have such a high combat power?"

All were stunned, doubting their own ears.

If Adriel's previous statement had stirred the waters, this revelation was akin to detonating a massive explosive, leveling the entire lake.

"You heard correctly, Xavier possesses a combat power of 120,000!"

Adriel then winked at Xavier, signaling that he was building momentum for him to solidify his position as the leader of the Saiyans.

Xavier, typically not one to revel in public attention, understood that to subdue these headstrong Saiyans, the simplest and most direct method was to demonstrate overwhelming strength.

Thus, Xavier nodded, stepping forward undeniably.

Whoosh—

A terrifying aura unfurled across the landscape.

The sky seemed to freeze at that moment, leaves tearing into shreds under the fearsome force.

With a resonating "hum," Xavier's body emitted a deep, crystalline glow, his hair slightly lifting in the surge of power.

Suddenly, the gravity of Planet Red Mountain seemed to vanish—pebbles and dust lifted off the ground, the earth cracked open in countless places...

Faces pale, bodies trembling under the formidable aura, the Saiyans' eyes blazed with intense fervor.

Chapter 64: The First Evacuation

As dusk approached, the sky darkened.

Stepping through the last traces of sunset, Adriel and his wife returned from the outdoors, dust-covered and weary. Upon entering their home, they saw Xavier sitting in the living room, engrossed in his electronic reader, scrolling through the latest news from Planet Vegeta.

Adriel approached with a gentle smile, saying, "Xavier, we've made contact with a group of Saiyans. They've agreed to gather in the desert two thousand kilometers west in two days. How are things on your end?"

"Two days from now?" Xavier set down his reader, pondering for a moment. "The inhabitants of Planet Phydia have started constructing a living zone on Planet Red Mountain. It should be ready in two days."

"Then we'll start the first evacuation in two days," Adriel declared, a hint of excitement in his voice. Given the increasingly unclear situation on Planet Vegeta, he decided it was best to act swiftly and start relocating some of the Saiyans sooner rather than later.

Xavier nodded in agreement. "Alright, I'll make sure everything's prepared on Planet Red Mountain."

"Hey, where's Celine?" Rebecca inquired, noticing her absence. Normally, the young girl would have dashed out to greet them by now.

"She's been training hard and just went to sleep exhausted," Xavier explained with a soft smile, while he straightened several cups on the coffee table and filled them with water.

Rebecca frowned slightly. "She needs to take it easy. What if she hurts herself?"

As a high-ranking warrior, she understood that training must be balanced. Overexertion could lead to irreparable damage, like a spring pressed too tightly and losing its ability to rebound.

Adriel, however, admired his daughter's tenacity. "It's good that Celine is so driven. She's improving rapidly—how many Saiyans can match her progress? Let her be, Rebecca."

Rebecca shot Adriel a sharp look, as if questioning whether Celine was indeed his daughter. She then advised Xavier to keep a closer eye on Celine, to which he readily agreed.

The conversation felt oddly misplaced—it was as if they were entrusting Xavier with their daughter's upbringing, despite being her parents themselves.

That night, the kitchen was bustling.

The stove blazed as delicious aromas wafted from it. Rebecca had prepared a feast fit for the voracious appetite of Saiyans, a crucial aspect of their logistics, especially during large-scale operations.

"Xavier, dinner's ready. Go call Celine," Rebecca said as she placed a large dish on the table.

"Right away!" Xavier responded, putting aside his tasks and heading to Celine's room.

He knocked gently. Inside, Celine lay askew in bed, her white underwear and the soft flesh of her thighs exposed, one foot pressing the blanket against the mattress.

It seemed she was cuddling a large pillow in an indolent pose.

Xavier chuckled and walked over to her bedside. Tapping her gently on the face, he woke her, "Aunt Rebecca sent me to call you for dinner."

"Oh, leave for a moment. I need to change," Celine opened her eyes, briefly fixing them on Xavier before wrapping herself in the blanket, her tone nonchalant.

Xavier clicked his tongue, smiling, "What are you hiding? I've already seen everything when I helped you bathe before. Covering up now really does no good!"

Celine paused, then rolled her eyes, no longer wrapping herself tightly. She threw the entire blanket at Xavier, shouting, "I'm changing now, get out!"

Laughing heartily, Xavier caught the blanket and neatly placed it aside. "Alright, alright. You're growing up, not clinging to me like before. I'll step out. Change quickly!"

With that, he left the room, gently closing the door behind him.

At dinner, while Xavier and the others devoured the food on the table, Celine alternated between staring at Xavier and voraciously eating, her actions providing an amusing contrast.

……

Time flew swiftly, and two days later, on the desolate Gobi in the west side of Planet Vegeta, some two thousand kilometers away, the harsh sun of spring cast its scorching rays, making even the light touch feel fiercely hot.

It was noon now, and in the midst of a sweltering oasis, over a hundred Saiyans from all directions had already gathered. From the horizon, dark specks periodically flew in, swelling their numbers to over two hundred in the oasis.

These Saiyans, young and old, mostly came in family units, predominantly lower-class warriors with only a few mid-class fighters among them. Selected meticulously by Adriel's squad, their combat strengths ranged generally between two thousand to three thousand—a rather ordinary batch among the million Saiyans of Planet Vegeta, whose absence wouldn't cause much of a stir.

Adriel checked the headcount, and seeing that all the designated individuals had arrived, stepped forward and clapped his hands.

The scene quieted instantly as everyone waited for Adriel to give orders. Under the shade of green trees, Xavier watched this and thought to himself how high Adriel's prestige was among these people.

It wasn’t a bad thing; at least it showed there was someone who could keep these unruly Saiyans in line without needing to exert extra effort.

"All the first group has assembled," Adriel began. "I believe you all understand what we're up against. We are not fleeing; we are preserving the bloodline of the Saiyans. A day will come when we return to reclaim our home."

After rallying everyone with a few words, Adriel turned to Xavier and said, "How many can you take at once? Should we make several trips?"

"No need. I can teleport over a hundred people at a time. Let's get everyone to the first transit star," replied Xavier with a serious expression, striding confidently towards the group.

Nodding slightly, Adriel, knowing Xavier's reliability, didn't add more. He then addressed the gathered Saiyans: "Everyone, Xavier is about to use his Instant Transmission. Please join hands and form a circle."

"A circle, really?"

The Saiyans were skeptical but trusting in Adriel's leadership, they began to arrange themselves as instructed.

Soon, the crowd of over two hundred formed two large circles, looking rather comical, like children playing a game.

Xavier nodded, stepped forward to one of the groups, and with everyone watching in amazement, his pupils glowed with a deep blue light.

In a flash of swirling dust, the hundred or so people in the circle vanished.

"They're gone, just like that!"

"His psychic powers can make so many people disappear!"

The scene turned chaotic as the remaining hundred Saiyans looked at each other, and a buzz of discussion erupted among them.

Chapter 63: A Young Lady Blossoms

Talent is a fascinating phenomenon, especially apparent among the Saiyans, where it manifests as differences in bloodline quality. Naturally, high-class warriors possess better innate potential, and with the same training methods, they have a higher likelihood of breakthroughs.

That's the theory, but before encountering Xavier's training methods or using the gravity training chambers, who among Adriel and his peers could have imagined reaching a battle power of 10,000 one day? Even if capable, they wouldn't have expected to achieve it so soon.

From this perspective, even though the Saiyans evacuating were mostly low-class warriors, their demonstrated strength would not be inferior to the original Saiyan race. The only downside might be their future breakthroughs; with fewer high-class warrior bloodlines, it would be a lengthy process to slowly select and cultivate superior bloodlines from among the many low-class warriors.

"Indeed, we can't fully grasp Xavier's 'Ki' cultivation theory, but its effectiveness is clear. If we can disseminate this training method across different levels, the Saiyans are sure to enter a glorious era," Belruk, usually reserved, nodded solemnly, his heart stirred.

Since learning that Xavier and Celine had reached battle powers of 120,000 and 90,000 respectively, Belruk had been astonished and began to regard Ki training with high importance, secretly considering it the Saiyans' secret to rising.

Naturally, such a miraculous training method couldn't be widespread immediately—they needed to select who would be suitable for teaching.

Watching Adriel and the others engaged in enthusiastic discussion, Xavier and Celine exchanged glances, detecting a hint of something special in each other’s eyes.

While Ki training could indefinitely enhance the Saiyans' potential, how much it could actually improve was uncertain. Xavier estimated that elevating the average Saiyan to a battle power of 100,000 might be the limit. Beyond that, it would depend on individual potential.

However, reaching such a level would already be an incredible opportunity for the Saiyans. A battle power of 100,000 is exceedingly rare in the universe, not to mention across an entire race. If the Saiyans could collectively reach this level, they would undoubtedly be considered a peak race.

Xavier’s own ambitions, of course, weren’t limited to this level of power—he aspired to become a Super Saiyan. This goal couldn’t be achieved through Ki training alone; it also required various opportunities and challenges.

In the original series, Goku and Vegeta only became Super Saiyans after enduring immense hardships. This didn't count for Goten and Trunks, who benefited from superior genetics and lacked the typical Super Saiyan struggle.

Xavier knew the challenge of ascending to Super Saiyan status was formidable, yet he held unwavering confidence in himself. Since arriving in the Dragon Ball universe, he had set his sights not just on reaching Super Saiyan levels but on achieving even greater heights akin to those of a Destroyer God like Beerus.

"Uncle Adriel, I believe that after some modifications, Planet Red Mountain will soon be fit for Saiyan habitation. Shall we start relocating the first batch of people there?" Xavier proposed earnestly.

Adriel nodded in agreement, "Absolutely, the sooner we initiate the relocation, the better. The situation on Planet Vegeta is growing increasingly complex, and I sense that King Vegeta is becoming impatient to start a rebellion. It's best we move our people sooner rather than later!"

"Once we return, I'll make contact and aim to relocate them in stages to Planet Red Mountain," Xavier added.

Following this, Belruk, Rebecca, Alice, and others voiced their opinions, all advocating for an early start to the evacuation process.

"Very well, I will promptly arrange for the Phydia people to construct living quarters to ensure that the Saiyans can live safely upon their arrival," continued Xavier. "Additionally, I plan to have all Saiyans eventually reside on Planet Red Mountain, while the Phydia people will move to the nearby Planet Mesan."

"That's undoubtedly the best choice, Planet Red Mountain offers excellent conditions," Adriel affirmed with a nod.

Xavier also highlighted a critical issue, "Our Saiyan heritage cherishes the warrior spirit, yet I hope we can all show some restraint to avoid turning our new home into a wasteland." This caution served as a warning to all.

Both Adriel and Belruk frowned at this; managing the fiery Saiyan temperament was a significant challenge.

"We'll do our best to moderate their actions," they resolved.

Acknowledging their efforts with a slight nod, Xavier knew that these measures were only temporary solutions. Suppressing their natural instincts was not a sustainable strategy, but without a better plan at the moment, it was the only option. They would have to devise a more effective solution later.

Everyone then returned to Planet Vegeta.

Meanwhile, Xavier visited the Phydia people to organize their navigation of a spaceship towards Planet Red Mountain. However, with the Phydia's level of technology, crossing from the Northern Galaxy to the Eastern Galaxy would take over two years—a considerable duration. Thus, to hasten the initial development on Planet Red Mountain, Xavier utilized his Instant Transmission ability to take a group of Phydia scientists and some equipment ahead to the planet.

Witnessing Xavier's ability to instantly transport them to the distant Planet Red Mountain filled the Phydia scientists with awe, almost venerating him as a divine being.

"Eilo, begin by constructing a residential area along the coastal continent that can accommodate three thousand people, particularly ensuring a robust food supply system," Xavier instructed a short Phydia scientist. Given the enormous appetite of the Saiyans, it was crucial to prepare well in advance.

Eilo, the scientist, serves as Dokra's deputy. Since Dokra must manage the affairs of the Phydia people, This left his capable assistant to undertake the task on Planet Red Mountain.

"At your command, Lord Xavier!" Eilo's voice rang out clear and strong, his blue skin taut with determination.

Xavier was pleased with his attitude, then watched as hundreds of Planet Phydia inhabitants drove massive machines that carved through mountains and bridged waters with great fervor. In no time, they had cleared a vast, flat construction site, and even larger, more precise machinery sprang into action.

The booming sounds of construction filled the air as gigantic machines with steel-reinforced arms compacted the foundations, causing the ground to tremble with each operation.

These Phydia people, natural-born scientists, though small in stature and not particularly strong individually, were perfectly suited for this mechanized work. It was no wonder they had managed to construct two grand space corridors on their home planet.

Hours later, as twilight approached, the basic structure of a small residential zone capable of housing over three thousand individuals was taking shape.

After inspecting the site and finding no issues, Xavier used Instant Transmission to leave Planet Red Mountain, entrusting the construction to Eilo and confident in his ability to complete the task.

Back on Planet Vegeta, Xavier discovered that Adriel and the others were not at home; only Celine was there, practicing basic exercises in the training room, heeding Xavier’s advice to avoid the intense gravity room workouts.

"Dad and the others have gone out to make contact with others," Celine explained, wiping the sweat from her brow, her delicate face slightly flushed from the exertion.

Handing her a damp towel, Xavier said, "You don’t need to push yourself so hard in training; it’s also good to relax a bit."

"But I don’t want to fall too far behind you," Celine said with a playful squint.

Xavier chuckled and gently tapped her on the head, then guided her to sit on the couch. He began to gently massage the joints in her neck. "You little rascal, don’t be so tense; it's easy to hurt yourself. Here, let me give you a bone-setting massage to help you relax."

Bone-setting was an excellent way to ease tension, a skill Xavier had honed under the influence of an old traditional medicine practitioner in his previous life. Under his skilled hands, Celine closed her eyes in comfort, the joints making satisfying pops and cracks. Soon, she was sound asleep.

"This little one is so competitive," he murmured affectionately.

Carefully, Xavier lifted Celine and carried her to the bathroom. As he undressed her down to her simple undergarments, he prepared a damp towel to wipe down her body, feeling the soft curves of her maturing form.

"Celine is growing up," Xavier paused, his mind still treating her like the little child she used to be, which made the bath seem unproblematic. However, realizing she was now a young girl, he hesitated, unsure if it was appropriate to continue.

Remembering the little one who used to follow him around like a shadow, now grown up, stirred a mix of emotions in him.

"Ah well, it’s not like I haven’t seen her body before…" Xavier shook his head, dismissing his hesitation, and continued gently wiping her down. After cleaning her up, he carried her to the bedroom, tucked her in, and quietly left the room.

Unseen by Xavier, as he exited, Celine’s eyes fluttered open. Watching the door close, she let out a soft sigh and pulled the sheet over her face, leaving only her star-like eyes visible, blinking slowly.
