Our Blues: Spoiler Thread

I finished Our Blues and my face is still covered in tears. After My Mister left me dry-eyed, I wasn’t sure if I’d become an emotional robot but this drama had me by the throat. If anyone wants to discuss…proceed.

This show was a sneak attack. I almost DNF’d in the first three episodes a few times. I am so glad I stayed the course and watched all the characters unfold. Gah. My heart is full. Jeju forever. -Lia

It’s been a long and sad week…and those of us who live in America have had too many of these. I kept it pretty quiet because I wasn’t in a very lighthearted mood. I’m still not but we also need to remember to take our happiness where we can, and self-care is vital to sustain sanity. So who is watching what this weekend?

All I can say is thank Zeus for a new KinnPorsche episode tomorrow.

Words are hard

Okay so while recording last night, it became very clear that I cannot say Sisyphus. Like, I just can't. It comes out as Sissy Fuhs and it sounds ridiculous and Amy and Lia teased me. I remember I had a friend in college who COULD NOT say the word specific. She would always say Pacific and it was actually kind of cute.

Are there any words you cannot say? Please don't make me feel alone, haha.

Missed You Monday

Hi everyone! Apologies for missing the weekend roundup. We spent the weekend at a friend’s property in Big Sur which is one of my favorite parts of not just California but also the entire world. I got to sleep in that big canvas tent, listen to the waves crashing down the hill and even saw five California condors. The downside is I was so tired that I snored very loud according to my husband. Lol. Derp.

Pachinko Ep 7-Hansuuuuu (spoilers)

Hi all! Amy here. I just finished episode 7 of Pachinko, and I want to know your thoughts. As a big, huge, GINORMOUS Lee Min-ho fan, I love that he got an entire episode to shine and that I was able to learn about the Kanto earthquake of 1923 as well as the aftermath and how that too played a part in the tumultuous history between Japan and Korea. 

Thoughts on a brand new origin story for Hansu? As someone who knew while reading the book that Lee Min-ho was playing him in the serie...

The Weekend Update

Sorry I’m a day late! I’ve had to travel to the great state of Indiana for my day job and my brain is still on BTS time from concert last weekend.
